The way I beat the Holotable without the Droideka was mainly using storm troopers with shield to block enemie range attacks, the big battle droids with axe and hammer against flamethrowers and explosives with range unit having the gattling storm troopers and purge trooper commanders for stronger fewer enemies. Raider veterans and all imperium droids are strong in generel.
For the holotable, the chicken units are actually pretty viable. They always start with the unblockable charge that will kill practically any unit thats infront of them.
Just gonna add one thing I discovered yesterday.. If you already know, ok you know. I'm just saying.. if you find yourself in a situation where you need to bring a roller bomb somewhere over bumpy terrain, and the objective is too far to throw, I realized that once you pull it towards you, you don't need to immediately aim and throw. You CAN just drop it and it will not immediately explode even though it's red and beeping. Drop it, quickly run away to make the tether yellow/blue again and continue leading it where you need it to go. This extends your range pretty much indefinitely because if you hit a wall or hole that it can't roll over, you can pick it up and reset it by dropping and then running away from it.
The only one I didn't know about was the scanning new enemies with BD from afar. That's really helpful. Otherwise, everything you said becomes clear in the game.
@@Krosstic 1 shotting is not a good mechanic. Id rather the bosses have bigger health bars and take 3/4 of ur health or half like every other soulslike. That reason is why melania was so divisive on if people liked her(even tho i do like melania)
I lowered the difficulty only twice ever, 1st time was against Vader simply because I didn’t want a repeat of fighting Rayvis, where I spent 3-4 hours fighting him and the story was too good to ruin, and then in the final fight against Bode for the same reason. I know I can beat both fights on grand master, more so Bode than Vader, I just simply don’t want to. While a game should be difficult, it shouldn’t be outright unenjoyable. Only boss I gave up on to come back later was the Rancor I should add.
For the secret dungeon its actually easier to get there from the crypt of urmha meditation circle and use the shortcut zipline to go directly to the dungeon
One QoL I’ve found is in the cantina on koboh. If you TP to the meditation point in cal’s bedroom, you have to go upstairs to reach the cantina’s main room. The door takes up to 5 seconds to open, which is annoying. When you touch the door, press start, then come back immediately to the game, the door will open instantly. It’s not much, but if you frequently go to the cantina for rumors and talk to NPC, it will be way less annoying to wait. (tested on ps5 on November 2024, idk if it will be changed/fixed later).
On the holotable, the Rawkas are goated. They open with that headbutt charge and it'll one shot most bipedal enemies including purge troopers and commando droids and shield troopers. A couple of them in front and some mini gunners to back them up will wipe most of the opponents.
That mini game is such a drag. It's so cool that you unlock the things you scan (hint, the scorpion things are super OP) but it sucks that there's only a few players. I feel like there should've been more players. Like all of the people you unlock for the cantina. At least the import ones like Jawas, the garden chick, the weird guys that hate everyone. They don't all have to be big gains. But things like music, exp, maybe some other clothes.... then have the end one be someone from Jedha and have it unlock a cooler, shorter emitter (most are too long). I would've liked to see them use a reverse grip as a stance instead of the cross guard. I hate that stance. By far the least useful. I've seen people use it right. But even then, I'm thinking, if they can make it work with that, they should be tearing it up with double and pistol instead. Or single and staff. Or double and staff. To each their own I guess.
If you guys want a fun exp farm use the boublebladed saber and blaster. Go to the watch tower go up the rope push the three droids to your left off the edge turn around and perfect pary the blaster shot. If you take damage and need to heal take the rope down and back up. Use the blaster to kill the sleeping b1s and 3 slashes to kill the 2 sleeping b2s rest and repeat.
Anybody else who has seen that while he was playing on easy mode he explains exp. Farming paused the game and then the first screen you see shows grandmaster difficulty....but if you skip back a sec and look at the bottom left corner you'll see his explanation for the 1 star in the upper left hand corner is the easiest of them all. I think that there is no need to make it look like you are playing Jedi grandmaster if your actually playing it on Jedi grandma 😉 difficulty. Plus who cares if you do ? I always say play to have fun, whatever you prefer is the best thing for you. Greetings and thanks for your video
Apparently there's a better XP farm where you spawn in front of a Droideka across a broken bridge in a latter portion of Koboh. When you learn the Force levitation perks.
for the Holo tables, I usually use a few rollers and a ranged unit that won't rush in, makes for an explosive finish for melee opponents, droidekas are the best match for these if the beginning points allow it. the experience perks are quite useless late in the game, since most of the treasures that you find in the map are plus one skill points, when you finish some of the fractures: another skill point, etc. the only skill tree that I've got left to finish is the dual wield tree, with Koboh the only planet left to explore 100%, though if a player badly needs those extra skill points, why not.
The sprint/jump/dash is actually a crazy callback to titanfall 2 at least i think it is. bhopping in tf2 is mostly just sliding your thumb from X to O over and over. Feels super natural to me.
I refuse to - around everywhere even though it's faster because it kills the role-playing for me. Lol 😅 fact, I do a lot of walking just to make it a little more immersive.
You can get an entire skill point literally EVERY SINGLE TIME you do The XP farm at the end if you shoot the guys with your blaster that you force pull off the bridge at the end before they hit the ground.
I was gonna ask about that too. I already have my maximum amount of perk slots and never once did I have to play that mini game. I wonder if they will put more perk slots in the game in the future?
