Crème de Cuir is stunning. Super underrated IMO but I’m ok with that because not everyone wears it so it’s my scent.
Crème de Cuir is so good! It was the first BDK I added to my collection. Definitely one of my favorite fragrances. It’s very underrated.
So underrated, I think as it’s not a super loud fragrance but that’s what makes it beautiful too

Bianco Late smells amazing I just tried a decant of it tonight and it smells yummy on my skin or to my nose its a bit coconut smelling and very summer tropical could be the way the tonka and musk comes together its delicious
That’s what it is, coconut!?! I kept trying to figure out what that annoying note was but I couldn’t place it since it’s not listed in the notes. Thank you, it was driving me crazy 😂😂😂

The creator of Maison Crivelli mentioned he got the inspiration for Hibiscus M. from drinking a syrupy sweet hibiscus tea - in a warm weather county. That’s how I think of it now - sweet and just comes alive in the heat. I’m a hardcore leather and Iris lover and never imagined Hibiscus Mahajad would be in my top 3 fragrances 😍
P.S. speaking of Iris I added Cuir Zerzura to my collection this month from Armani. Sooo good 👌🏼

Most recent purchase is coffee addict by theodoris kalotinis and its such a rich but realistic coffee scent. And that Bianco latte sounds like a gourmand dream!

I had a bottle of Spring Flower in the 1980’s. I recall it was a favorite of Princess Grace.

If I am nit mistaken, I think Creed "Spring Flower" came out in 1995.
That is probably a different version. It looks like it was introduced in 1950.

New intro was neat. Not the biggest fan of anything here. I definitely get the hype on the Crivelli, just for the fact that it is nuclear in performance. I last smelled Creme de Cuir in August 2021 IIRC, so not the freshest in my mind and don't have any notes written down on Parfumo for it either. I might take another sample when Vanille Leather drops on Monday just to try it again.
Thank you, I’ve been meaning to do an intro for a while and I finally got around to it. I am super curious on the new Vanille Leather, the notes look interesting. When I first heard about it I was curious how it would differ from Crème de Cuir. It feels like a might be a bit more substantial and with more depth. I am in the hunt for some new masculine leaning fragrances for my collection, any new stand outs?
No one gives Greasque a proper chance. The drydown is incredibly lovely!
It’s a little underrated gem for me, especially in the hotter weather. I can see why it’s not the most popular for the house but equally, I agree people should give it a proper chance. 🤍

Tonka is my favourite note. I’d say Kyrptonite, Velvet Tonka by BDK & EPC Tonka Extraordinaire.

How would you explain the Kryptonite scent for someone that hasn’t smelt it?
It’s quite unusual but if you like and have tried fragrances such as BDK, Velvet Tonka but add in some Iris. It is similar but I would say a little softer and fluffier, with less of a cherry marzipan vibe and then the beautiful iris.
Quite a selection there, BDK are one the most underrated houses. 😊

How do you come across such a divergent range of niche perfume houses that aren't sold at Sephora or Ulta?
I live about an hour from London so I regularly go into Harrods and Selfridges. I also order small decants from retailers such as Scent Split or other decant websites. That means I can try a large range of brands. I am also fortunate to be able to review new or smaller brands as I get sent product for feedback or review sometimes.

Cream de cuir is horrible on my skin....smells like an old car. Best for those with warm skin and only for cold seasons
