I own vanilla powder and it is hands-down one of the most incredible, somehow nostalgic, intoxicating fragrances I have ever smelled. It hits me right in the emotions and I can’t even explain why. Like you, I use about two sprays and that’s plenty. Also, a bit off-topic, But you gave us all a bit of a cliffhanger in one of your older videos when you talk about a very incredible layering combination that included Bianco latte. You teased that you’d be revealing the combo in a subsequent video but I have to say I don’t think I’ve come across it. Do tell? Loving Bianco latte so much myself. Thanks again for all your content and for your awesome accent!
I find all of the Kay Ali fragrances have that synthetic cheap smell to them to my nose so whatever chemicals are being used are not to my nose's liking I guess. I have the Nest Lychee Rose on the way and fingers crossed for it as the notes sound much more palatable to me than the Kay Ali (I hate blackcurrant with a passion so I was hesitant to get the Kay Ali one anyway).
Off topic but I just ordered Mallow with your code Hayley, thank you! So excited! Huda hasn't shipped my Eden Lychee yet but I also ordered Nests Lychee Rose to compare, so excited to try them both and hear about these! ❤
I got a 6ml of vanilla powder and I loooove the opening but my god that drydown is just pure chemical to my nose and it sticks around for forever as you say! It made me realise I just can’t do ambroxan, so I guess that’s good to know. So disappointing though because I was sure my favourite house would deliver on my favourite note! Wish it worked for me, I’m glad some people love it though!
Ahhhh that’s such a shame! Yeah it absolutely have a molecule type dry down for me too. Luckily I enjoy that type of scent profile. Glad you got a 6ml sample size 🥰
I love coconut with my vanilla! I’ve discovered recently coconut gels good with my skin chemistry and I seem to get a lot of compliments on coconut scents
I’m enjoying your videos - very glad I found you! You are absolutely stunningly beautiful, and provide accurate and meaningful descriptions of fragrances. Thank you! ❤
I love to layer Cheriosa 71 with By the Fireplace, smells like a warm hug 🥰 Just blind bought Unknown Pleasures from Kerosene and absolutely love itt! I also got Mortal Skin from SHL, Ambre Khandjar from Un Nuit Nomad and Bare from Victoria‘s Secret (favorite sleep scent)
Oh man I wonder when that V Canto Guillare will release in the US 🤔 That sounds delicious. One of my favs is Misiarte. It is a beautiful white suede bottle with pineapple and musk, it's beautiful. I bet you'd like that one too 😊
It's odd that Kayali would release this seamingly vibrant summer fragrance in December during christmas time. I would have loved something fluffy, cozy and soft spicy, but less arabic (without oud). Tom Ford's Vanilla Sex sounds intriguing, although the prices have gotten insane.
I used to feel like this about brands releasing fresh or fruity fragrances in fall / winter. Until I realised that all countries have different climates. I was always just thinking about where I live and not the global view. In Dubai or Australia as an example, it is hot right now. I also feel Sparkling Lychee is great for party season too. So I do understand this launch being now.
Thanks so much.. my new fragrances Soile Malaque .. DVN love it, Loubifunk and Loubierouge , keep glazed.. I’ll be getting some new releases.. hopefully.. 🎉❤
You mentioned matiere premier vanilla powder smells like coconut powder would you say that it’s similar to thameen blue heart without the saffron/suede note?
I bought a sample Vanilla Powder, and like the way it smells. it’s definitely unique. I’m still not sure how I feel about Sparkling Eden Lychee, I have to play with it some more. Thanks for sharing, and yes to a part 2
Ι LOVE Vanilla powder ...its so unique for a vanilla..i dont get the hate for this perfume ....its giving me vibes of Αnother 13,Arizona bloom,Sydney Rock Pool Arquiste and Molecule C-19 - The Beach(love them all).....beast perfomance 12+ hours and on clothes omg for days....
I thought sparkling lychee was more a good early teens perfume. Vanilla woods had something that smells like cigarette ash to me so definitely test people!
Cigarette ash, ohhh that doesn’t sound good. It’s more a sweet vanilla caramel to my nose. Sparkling Lychee, the opening is very sweet and I feel it will appeal to a younger audience but the mid / dry down doesn’t feel young to me.
@@hayley.clough ya we all smell differently but that’s where you can get all the reviews, and ultimately still may interpret the smell in a new way. Thank you for sharing 🩵
I got that dirty ashtray/cigarette ash smell too and apparently many others are getting it too per Fragrantica. Not sure what's causing that, the 'amber' I guess, but I immediately sent it back to Sephora because it was a huge no thank you for me.
Hello Hayley! Is it me of Vanilla Woods is similar to Silky Woods, only Silky woods more woody/smoky? lol I own both and think they are the same dna 😅 also I love Cheirosa 71, the most delectable of all the Sol de Janeiro line! My fave 😊
I got my 5ml sample of Vanilla Powder yesterday (also trying to reduce the blind buying but I love the excitement 🤭) wow it’s not what I was expecting but I love it! Agree on the molecule type scent…which I love! Thank you as always 💕
I also have a no blind buying rule. I find it hard not to blind buy designer fragrances. I don't go to malls often and there are not a whole lot of ways to sample designer scents otherwise.
I just got the new Kayali fragrance and absolutely not. It smells like a body mist from bath and body works. So immature and cheap smelling :( so sad because there are some from the brand that I love!
Wow that it a strong reaction. I don’t think it smells like a body mist, it is strong for the scent profile. The opening is very sweet and almost young leaning but body spray, I don’t get that.
How are you? Are you okay? Your uniquely beautiful soul has nothing to do with the concept of time. Above all else, she is always at a uniquely beautiful age.
Thankfully I sampled Vanilla Powder first at Saks and I LOVE IT. Bought through Selfridges. MP is a fabulous house. I think VP is a slow burn on the hype train. It’s not for everyone but in the summer I will be wearing it so much. I should have bought the 100ml instead of 50ml. Yes nuclear.

Thanks so much for leaving the name on the screen for the entire time you’re describing it. That’s so helpful!!
You are so welcome!
Yes, we appreciate it so much ❤

I love Iris!! Yes, please do an in-depth review of Call me Iris. The combination with the orris sounds lovely! 💜🤍
I tested the Eden Lychee the other day and to nose, there is something synthetic that persists and bothers me The Nest Lychee has more rose and milder
I like it as it’s not a classic rose and lychee combo, I enjoy the fizziness and the musky feel in the dry down.

All sound absolutely stunning but the V Canto sounds quite intriguing
It is quite special

Yay! Thank you!
Yes, I would love a part 2,I love this kind of videos ❤️
Thank you 🙏🏼
Cheirosa 71 is my holy grail!! great video ❤
I love iris too! Would love a more detailed review 🥰

Ooh that Michael Malul one seems amazing! Plz detailed review!❤
I LOVE those videos! I wanna try Vanilla Powder, Berry + Blanche and Vanille irrésistible. I would love part 2 🥰. Thanks Hayley!

Love your channel, also thank you for the recommendations of Vanilla perfumes, my favorite!! Love!! ⭐

The color of the juice on vanille irresistible 😍 is it a safe blind buy?
I’d say so if you like musky vanillas. Have you tried Absolute Aphrodisiac or Insulo? Similar vibes.
@@hayley.clough ooh yes. Ill start with their smaller size. Thank you 💕
Thanks so much.. my new fragrances Soile Malaque .. DVN love it, Loubifunk and Loubierouge , keep glazed.. I’ll be getting some new releases.. hopefully.. 🎉❤
I love Edeniste's Vanille Iresistable! Glad you featured it!
It’s soooo good
Thanks 🙏 again for your beautiful interpretation of some new releases, definitely will check out the irresistible vanilla
My pleasure!
Hi Hayley, could you please do another video on affordable parfumes for fall ? Thank you
Loved this! Thank you! Cheirosa 71 is my fave from the brand…yum
So yummy right 🥰
I also love Cheirosa 71 and Cheirosa 40. Have not tested them all, but Cheirosa 62 was not for me.
You mentioned matiere premier vanilla powder smells like coconut powder would you say that it’s similar to thameen blue heart without the saffron/suede note?
Yes actually, they do have similarities. That is a good reference point.
Thank you. I can’t wait to smell vanilla powder now! I love blue heart but have been hesitant to purchase because sometimes the saffron is too heavy.
I bought a sample Vanilla Powder, and like the way it smells. it’s definitely unique. I’m still not sure how I feel about Sparkling Eden Lychee, I have to play with it some more. Thanks for sharing, and yes to a part 2

Considering I just bought Sydney Rock Pool, I appreciate your comment.
Yes part two ❤

Silky Woods is a lot heavier to me, with the added smokiness too. I find Vanilla Woods nice and sweet and quite subtle in comparison

I love 71
Soooo good

It’s not really for me, I don’t dislike it but didn’t love it
Hayley: don’t blind buy, sample first
Me: blind buys a bottle of sparkling lychee after hearing her description 🥲
💕
😂😂😂❤️ I still do it to be honest
