Michael Myers, brain dead and severely injured after his defeat in the previous movie, is the host body for a top secret cybernetics experiment in which prosthesis and internal surgeries are used to give his arms and legs motive ability again and to do several other small things for The Shape as part of a 'rebuild peoples bodies with cybernetics' science effort. A malfunction during remote control of arms and legs testing causes an electrical surge to hit Michael and revive his brain, after which it's off to Haddonfield, plot twist 1; due to brain damage Michael is unable to remember who his specific target is and strikes at anyone he can. plot twist 2; Sam Loomis (pleasance version) appears late in the story as a ghost to protect the movie's myers-family-member character by using ghost telepathy against Michael during a near-the-end-of-the-movie fight sequence. The end is a redo of the very first movie's ending, the main difference being that Michael is only hallucinating that Loomis is shooting him this time, he is not actually getting shot, and it ends with Michael falling off a balcony to his apparent death then being gone again. Easter Egg of doom: the company doing the experiment is named Bartok Industries.
*Remix ends and the Smith's Grove Sanatorium board it in stunned silence. One of them unblocks his throat and speaks. "A written report on Mr Myers' proposed transfer would have sufficed, Dr Loomis."
