- I have been a big fan of horror movies ever since I was a young kid, with the original 'Halloween' being one of my favorite movies of all time. So, in celebration of the new movie coming out today, I decided to make my own cover of the legendary song from the original movie by John Carpenter. I hope you'll like it.

Several weeks ago I was playing the Halloween theme and wanted to see who else had done a metal version of that iconic theme. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagined doing a random search would lead me to discovering perhaps the best metal band I’ve heard in ages. I cannot stop listening to Orbit Culture I hope they explode on the metal scene worldwide because they’re amazing.
New fan of theirs here thanks to reaction channels been spreading the word to all my friends

My old Band Vicious Disorder wrote a cover for the Rob Zombie Halloween remake in 2007...we recorded it in 2004 with Producer John Ellis of Prism Sound Studios in Acton, Massachusetts...he also recorded Godsmack's "I Stand Alone" from the Scorpion King Soundtrack! Our song was picked in a contest by the "original" producer, who also produced the original Halloween...but he died in Egypt with his Daughter! Our song is called "Pure Evil" it's on the Halloween DVD Extras! Pretty cool for some guys from Springfield, Massachusetts! But I really LOVE your version my friend... Great job!

Literally, the best cover that exists out there on YT. It's metal, and it stays close to Halloween theme throughout the entire cover. Not like some other dudes that just played the theme on a guitar and then added their own solo or anything else and went completely off the original melody.
You did the best job. I could perfectly picture this theme being put into a real Halloween movie in a scene where Michael goes on an ultimate killing spree and just destroys everyone, with a little bit of slo-mo and close-up of his mask in the end. Goosebumps inducing.

Sums it very well, faithful to original adds some good elements!! Makes it even darker
every artists have their own rendition.. if you're just a casual music listener this might be best for you.. but if u play instrumental, u would appreciate more on the geniuses of artist who could play their own rendition with solos..

Don't see how adding pitching solos to Halloween can be fitting, but whatever, I'm not capable of understanding the geniuses of artists.
Megalodon some says john petrucci solos in dream theater are overdone and 'unneccesary' as it is too long.. most would just enjoy the simplistic yet done just right for the correct amount of time like kirk hammet did for metallica.. not saying both are wrong, but we just simply different.. not saying u suck for not enjoying the rendition that seems different from the original songs of certain artists, because we enjoy differently.. because in the end, music is all about enjoying sounds.. and i like both dream theather and metallica..
