Regardless of the copyright issues, Cameron Monaghan's Joker was so on point. He had the entertaining psycho demeanor down pat. The episode that debuted Jerome and he flipped from normal to evil was chilling. I yelled at the TV. I was so enthralled. What the show lacked in accuracy, they made up for in style as fuck. That show knew it was a comic book show and went full comic book logic from go.
Part of the Reason Jason has massive respect for roy is because his been through all this shit and not changed much unlike Jason himself who changed massively and not for the. Better
My biggest issues with Serious House: 1. Mmmmm, the more explicit they get with the Joker’s queercoding, the more uncomfortable it makes me. Especially when we have Preston Payne’s Clayface saying, “I just want to share my disease” about his murderous protoplasm-touch. Not. Not great subtext there. Not loving that. 2. “The Joker is the way he is because he can’t regulate the sensory input he receives from the universe.” BITCH ME TOO, BUT I HAVEN’T BLOWN UP ANY BUILDINGS OR MURDERED ANYONE ABOUT IT! (Sensory processing disorder! Is a thing! [jazz hands])
Any story where booster needs to choose between what he wants and what the timeline / world needs will always hit me where I live. He really really tried to save his best friend, but it had to happen
I saw the spinner land on Son of Satan and I immediately said out loud "oh fuck, is this Daimon Hellstrom?" Mind you I know next to nothing about him, I think he was in one comic I read, but man I was so confident and so happy to be right
Daimon Hellstrom (Son of Satan) had a one season show on Hulu called Hellstrom. It was around the time Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, and shows like that were popping off I think, so I guess they decided to make a Constantine style show involving him and his sister? He also appeared in a New Avengers run (I think, I gave that graphic novel away a few years ago) It's the story where Dr. Strange becomes Sorcerer Supreme again and fought Daniel Drumm, Brother Voodoo's brother. Edit: I guess a lot of people told him about it lol. Should have waited.
Yes! I literally own the issue where his daughter died and he lost his arm. He also tried to die by way of Waylon who ended up being his AA Sponsor later on. So, Roy’s been through a lot.
"Listen, every majorly successful superhero has a 3-tone color scheme. Here are a bunch of examples including 2-tone color schemes." I did appreciate the chili dog Sonic reference though.
The Bill reboot was great. Seriously pitch him to DC. He could be the "guy" for the villains guns, hideouts, goons, and tech. He knows a guy that knows a guy type of character.
I'm really curious to see if Across the Spiderverse going to do anything with the fact both Miguel and Miles are the second version of Spider-Man in their universe. They were both, in fact, given their powers by a radioactive spider made specifically by an evil corporation trying to recreate Spider-Man and ended up with similar but non-identical powers. On that note, I also wonder if they'll do anything with Miguel's unique powers. He doesn't have Spider Sense or adhesive powers, instead he has super-enhanced vision, retractible talons to stab into buildings (and sometimes people) and retractible fangs complete with venom glands
Ted Kord is cool. He was a lot of fun with Booster Gold in Justice League International. I'd say the Flash is nearly as beloved by everyone, even his own Rogues. Like, sure, they want to kill the Flash when they're angry but they still kind of like him as a person. LOL. Got me again, Flash!
So Batman threw Doctor Destiny down the stairs cause in that story apparently Destiny could destroy peoples mind by looking at them and Batman found the only way to keep that from happening was to drop him.
Yes! Arrow was 100% Batman lite and it was only recently that I made the connection that Barry/Flash is pretty much his version of Superman. I’m so glad someone else sees this as well 😂
Weirdly enough last year in acting class I learned about Hellstrom, to bad I lost Hulu before I could watch it but nice to know his name before was "Son of Satan"
19:10 Oh my meow I used to have that comic he appeared in a bunch of years ago, like that cover and everything, and I was trying to remember the other day which comic that was.
Daimon Hellstrom pops up a bunch during Bendis' Avengers era of comics, he's a recurring supporting character for Doctor Strange & Doctor Voodoo, as well as various other appearances. I would debate the regrettable thing fairly heavily, except dfor his brief appearance in Avengers Undercover where he's a bit... well he's on a villain team with a guy dressed as a Nazi and I don't understand why
Blue Beetle looks much more like a Kamen Rider than a Power Ranger. Mechanical suit, bug theme, using technology of the villains as the source of superpowers... Literally Kamen Rider!
As a person who once wrote an essay about Alice in Wonderland in Serious House on Serious Earth, reading that comics to analyze it is sooo weird. It doesn't make sense a lot of times and honestly, trying to even summarize the plot at the beginning was quite the task. (Got a C from it btw)
Pretty sure the first supermans name was CLARK savage jr the man of Bronze ... or John Carter the man that could famously "leap tall building in a single bound"
arrow also kinda gave Laurel Lance Ted Kord thing where thinks shes the best hero ever, like if you look how she is treated after she died she is put on such a high pedestal of "she was the best of us"
i have yet to read a single DC comic but the comments about "batman's kinds ended up fine" had cackling; like how can a person be so wrong? like, i repeat, i have not read the comics AND YET i can still see just how wrong that statement is
15:52 oh boy, you aren't going to like my mother then, and she's been reading comics (same as my father) since she was a small child (both marvel and dc, though they mainly read Marvel)
2:28 I would think Nightwing (Grayson) because they literally had to kill him off in Injustice for the plot to work since the writers knew that he would have been able to get through to both Superman and Batman. But, you’ve gotta ignore ‘The New World’ series
arrow just had so many batman villains 😭 we got KGBeast, vertigo is basically arrows joker, Prometheus, ras al ghul, anarchy, probably some others im forgetting
15:44 more, ‘mh nah, i got into comics via batman cartoons and from there Justice league ones. I like the Bat family lore and dynamics. Plus YJ made him a jerk at first. Im.. im good with just Batman & friends cameos of Sups.’ I mean he seems fine and wouldn’t be hard to enjoy, i just have enough of other things to enjoy over trying to get into his thing exclusively
I have a sort of odd question does anybody else think that panda reds neighbors subscribe to his show because they got tired watching some guy with the Mohawk leather jacket Wonder around their neighborhood ranting to his phone and just wanted to know what he was talking about other than that random thought this was a pretty good show
19:14 Sonik looks like he stumbled drunk into some costuming department's wardrobe and emerged with Leonardo's bandana, the top of April O'Neil's 80's jumpsuit, Alfred Pennyworth's gloves, and the bottom of Wolverine's 60's uniform. I like it. Fuck demure and mindful. It's bold and unapologetic. You do you, king. Just don't let Batman know you stole from his butler and you're good.
Wait, season 5 having the D-tier Batman villain as the green arrow villain is an issue? What about how the main villians of seasons two and three are SLADE and RA’S AL FUCKING GHUL, both of who are high B or A tier batman villians
No, the only kinda jerk thing he did was lie to Batman about being friends with Booster Gold. Also he was mostly seen through flashbacks and time travel.
“Shut the f*ck up DC, YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE”
Had me CACKLING, Best joke in awhile
Part of the Reason Jason has massive respect for roy is because his been through all this shit and not changed much unlike Jason himself who changed massively and not for the. Better
I felt the frantic Arrowverse rant in my fucking soul lol.
I need a Bill the Professional Henchman comic yesterday
i love that Bill has a little "Bite Me Fanboy" patch on his shoulder, its perfect

He really really tried to save his best friend, but it had to happen
They legitimately made oliver queen the heir to ras al ghul you know the person who completely wants batman to replace him.
I saw the spinner land on Son of Satan and I immediately said out loud "oh fuck, is this Daimon Hellstrom?"
Mind you I know next to nothing about him, I think he was in one comic I read, but man I was so confident and so happy to be right
Any day that Panda uploads a video is a good day
Agreed
So very true
Yes
Absolutely
as well as when I did upload
Daimon Hellstrom (Son of Satan) had a one season show on Hulu called Hellstrom. "I had more to say about this than I thought I did" always a fun way to find out that something actually stokes quite a lot of rage.
Yes! I literally own the issue where his daughter died and he lost his arm. He also tried to die by way of Waylon who ended up being his AA
Sponsor later on. So, Roy’s been through a lot.
He did it! He made the nickel joke!
Yay!!! Does this mean more skits?! Not going to lie, I've been waiting for this! ALFRED CALL THE GUY!!!
"Listen, every majorly successful superhero has a 3-tone color scheme. Here are a bunch of examples including 2-tone color schemes."
I did appreciate the chili dog Sonic reference though.
The Bill reboot was great. Seriously pitch him to DC. He could be the "guy" for the villains guns, hideouts, goons, and tech. He knows a guy that knows a guy type of character.
... the Pandaverse got rebooted...
Holy shoot...
Please tell me his going to upload all Lord death man skits like he did for Jason Escapes The Grave
Cool thing about Hellstrom is that he actually married Hellcat in the Defenders comic series..... which given her superhero name kinda makes sense
I'm really curious to see if Across the Spiderverse going to do anything with the fact both Miguel and Miles are the second version of Spider-Man in their universe. Damn I liked the Lord Deathman story
Daimon Hellstrom was later called Hellstorm and still uses the trident Panda
I love all your video and you got me back in to comics and I am glad I can watch someone be as big of a comic nerd as I am
Bill!!! I’ve missed Bill
I want that 3 hour long video about how messed up the BatKids are like hooooowwwww could someone say they are well 😀😀
So Batman threw Doctor Destiny down the stairs cause in that story apparently Destiny could destroy peoples mind by looking at them and Batman found the only way to keep that from happening was to drop him.
Loved the compilation! Poor Bill
Yes! Arrow was 100% Batman lite and it was only recently that I made the connection that Barry/Flash is pretty much his version of Superman. I’m so glad someone else sees this as well 😂
Can we all say "Crisis of the Finite Bill"
Weirdly enough last year in acting class I learned about Hellstrom, to bad I lost Hulu before I could watch it but nice to know his name before was "Son of Satan"
I was reading fanfiction, and the goonion was referenced oml
Bestie drop the link pls 😂
19:10 Oh my meow I used to have that comic he appeared in a bunch of years ago, like that cover and everything, and I was trying to remember the other day which comic that was.
Ok panda I see you
😂😂 I really love your rants 😊
Daimon Hellstrom pops up a bunch during Bendis' Avengers era of comics, he's a recurring supporting character for Doctor Strange & Doctor Voodoo, as well as various other appearances. Blue Beetle looks much more like a Kamen Rider than a Power Ranger. Mechanical suit, bug theme, using technology of the villains as the source of superpowers... Literally Kamen Rider!
tbf, shows like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai are basically what Power Rangers is based on so the original remark isn't far off
@Triforce of Doom Yeah, I just wish Kamen Rider was more acknowledged
Spectacular work as always
As a person who once wrote an essay about Alice in Wonderland in Serious House on Serious Earth, reading that comics to analyze it is sooo weird. It doesn't make sense a lot of times and honestly, trying to even summarize the plot at the beginning was quite the task. (Got a C from it btw)
"The Batkids are completely fine" literally what Batman comic that features any of them did that person read??
The only one I can think of where the batkids are normal is the webtoons family Wayne adventures
that person has only read batman and green arrow through batman fanfic lmao
I love all your shit and you got me back into comics so thank you man
Poor Bill, doesn't deserve that kind of crazy
Do I have to study for finals? Yea. Unfortunatley, Panda uploaded.
Pretty sure the first supermans name was CLARK savage jr the man of Bronze
... or John Carter the man that could famously "leap tall building in a single bound"
Yay my favorite time of month
arrow also kinda gave Laurel Lance Ted Kord thing where thinks shes the best hero ever, like if you look how she is treated after she died she is put on such a high pedestal of "she was the best of us"
i have yet to read a single DC comic but the comments about "batman's kinds ended up fine" had cackling; like how can a person be so wrong? like, i repeat, i have not read the comics AND YET i can still see just how wrong that statement is
15:52 oh boy, you aren't going to like my mother then, and she's been reading comics (same as my father) since she was a small child (both marvel and dc, though they mainly read Marvel)
they used side characters for the arrowverse. elongated man is his own character, the atom is his own character nyssa is her own character.
Can someone tell me what the tweet at 21:25 says? It's too blurry for me to read it.
20:04 hey that was my history of Cartooning professor this year that the School of Visual Arts in New York!! Holy Shit!
Always happy when you upload
2:28 I would think Nightwing (Grayson) because they literally had to kill him off in Injustice for the plot to work since the writers knew that he would have been able to get through to both Superman and Batman. But, you’ve gotta ignore ‘The New World’ series
My whole family loves the arrowverse even if I don’t enjoy it. Meanwhile I love Gotham and its versions of characters. Different strokes I guess.
And here’s me, loving both lmao
I like this. Thank you
Yay! You uploaded
Your the best man your my favorite content creator
Ayyy More Panda Red!
damn, didn't expect bill to still be around
YAY A SKIT
Really looking forward to the next bookclub video now
arrow just had so many batman villains 😭
we got KGBeast, vertigo is basically arrows joker, Prometheus, ras al ghul, anarchy, probably some others im forgetting
Nightwing hates ted kords guts in the 90s
AYE, BILL! IT’S BEEN A WHILE!!!
RETURN OF BILL!!
Also, holy crap an April video on the first day of May. Good job!
Finally got a skit!
rip the Lord Death Man storyline, prolly for the best tho
God Damn That Was Fast
Is this where we mention that Hellstrom got his own TV show?
Oh sweet
Please don't tell me with the reboot he goes back to Professional Henchman instead of The Professional Henchman
I mean, CW Flash did very much have Totally Not Joker in The Trickster, down to being played by Mark Hamill with the voice.
Honestly I think that Sonic voice was alright, it just sounds like a slightly older Sonic
Marvel "Daimon Hellstrom, son of Satan" comics 🤝 Andy "Hail Mary full of (Ryland) Grace" Weir
me watching this to procrastinate on a presentation: :D
I have a sort of odd question does anybody else think that panda reds neighbors subscribe to his show because they got tired watching some guy with the Mohawk leather jacket Wonder around their neighborhood ranting to his phone and just wanted to know what he was talking about other than that random thought this was a pretty good show
6:34, so I’m guessing he hasn’t seen the Ra’s Al Ghul season,
Or the deathstroke season
Rebooting the panda verse is…an idea
I'm not a Superman fan, I'm a Clark Kent fan.
Smokey the Bear is disappointed in Roy Harper.
I miss the skits lmao
Also I’m curious about what he thinks about the author’s recent hatred of Spider-Man
weeee rants ahoy
Tge cgi for the blue beetle movie is putting me off
Blue beetle and the atom are different characters. He’s not a ripoff blue beetle.
Bill is great, and I support the goonion.
Wait, Satana and who else? I can't think of any other character name the ends with an a like that
I have to ask what happened to the bat family skits
First and love your vids panda redd
Wait, season 5 having the D-tier Batman villain as the green arrow villain is an issue? What about how the main villians of seasons two and three are SLADE and RA’S AL FUCKING GHUL, both of who are high B or A tier batman villians
Is slpa stick on regitabe super lis why a loony tune superher is awsome
Wally west was pretty well love in the universe till heroes in crisis
Wasn’t Ted Kord a bit of a jerk in brave and the bold?
No, the only kinda jerk thing he did was lie to Batman about being friends with Booster Gold. Also he was mostly seen through flashbacks and time travel.
100th comment
Grant Morrison is an overhyped writer. I've never liked anything he's written
Also my is immediately better
