Having owned my C5 Exclusive since new in 2003, I immediately notice the difference in a normal coil spring suspension. Citroen won't be the same now the Hydro pneumatic suspension system has been discontinued.
Your're totally right ! That demolition job started at the eve of the PSA Group ! Peugeot killed many high techs du to be on the Citroen CX (ie the HUD that was ready at that time -1976- !!).
Its a shame from technological stand point but from maintaining one is a nightmare. Parts are expensive, very few people know to work on them. Just spent a few hundred bucks fixing the main hose where it splits into three other hoses. I replaced that in 2017 and 20 000 km ago with original one. Every once in a while the fuse goes out on the pump, so im waiting for it to die and get it replaced. Its a pain to replace that fuse btw.
What a clever piece of engineering, I am so pleased to be the owner of 2007 C5 and disappointed that PSA have killed the Hydractive suspension system. You may as well do away with the brand now as it is no longer unique.

Citroëns without hydropneumatic is just like BMW without an I6 or Honda without the I4. It needs to come back!
Honda without VTEC more like
This lady is the same who does the onboard automated train announcements on many train companies in the UK.
La mejor amortiguación del mundo
It’s a damn shame that Peugeot killed off all hydropneumatic development; likely due to cost.

Hello! I own a 2006 C6 2.7 A/T and I would like to know how much quantity of LDS should I buy and fill the system up on a complete flush? Thank you!
about 3-4 liters for a complete flush. so if you buy 4 liters it will be sufficient in any case.
I wouldn't mess around with the system especially on a C6 in case you get air in it, it probably does your brakes to.
@@anthonyxuereb792 the brakes are independent from the LDS. The brakes use a separate pump and a separate fluid (DOT4)
видео очень крутое , но сделайте пожалуста русские субтитры
И так всё понятно. Что не ясно- спрашивай или читай в офлайн документации- там всё есть.
