Saturn Minicat MC365 12'

I bought this from;

The sales rep was helpful and replied quite quickly.
I found out that there were very few informative reviews of the "Minicat" style of inflatable. Videos would leave out information like size of motor, or how much weight passengers and gear added etc.
I forgot to add that the transom of the MC365 is excellent, it says it's rated for nothing more than 10hp. I've seen videos of this boat running with bigger motors.
My yamaha 8HP has a 8.5 x 7.5 prop (diameter and pitch)
I'm sure with less weight in the boat it would plane faster.
My total added weight was nearly 400lbs extra, this included passengers, seats, fishing gear even a cooler with food. That's nearly a small piano on the boat.
As a quick point of comparison I used to own a 8 foot Aquamarine 300 series (zodiac style dinghy).
The Saturn Minicat cruises on plane more comfortably, and smoothly. It also moves at "displacement" speed (not on plane) at about 5.5mph which is faster than the Aquamarine 300
