in the western astrology my ascendent is lion, but in my whole life everyone told me that i seem cancer. and when i discover about vedic and sais that my ascendent is cancer, it made sense to me.
Same!!! I was always like “no way that my ascendent is a fire sign (leo)” but in vedic astrology I’m a cancer ascendent and I have way more water signs in my chart and that makes so much more sense

Same. In tropical my Ascendant is scorpio, but I can't see that at all. Then I discovered that vedic suggested I'm a libra ascendnt and that makes so much more sense, I can't.
Yep... I can vouch for that. I first did my natal chart with Western, and my Western chart did not seem accurate at all... My Vedic chart on the other hand matched up with my life pretty perfectly... Or at least seemed that way.

In western astrology I’m an Aries sun. I literally grew up sad because I wished I was a Pisces because it described me so well. I was super psychic, spiritual, soft, and spent all day in my imagination. In Vedic I’m a quadruple Pisces, Pisces sun, rising, mercury and Venus. Vedic is legit. Even for my friends they agreed it’s more accurate. Tropical is so wrong sometimes

Got it!!!! In my tropical, my sun is Scorpio, well I do still resonate of some Scorpio vibe, but, but I just wish I was born into a Libra persona. Turns out I just discovered my sidereal or the vedic that I am a Libra sun, mercury, Venus, Jupiter and rahu are all in Libra. I carry many Libra placements, even my thoughts and projections are the same like a Libra. So accurate! My ascendant is still a Scorpio, yeah, I do still feel I'm a Scorpio, my face is sharp and people think of me like I have RBF face, but when they know me, they love to talk and talk and being chatty, and open up, seeking and exchanging knowledge, loving to listen, balancing, negotiating and thoughts and ideas with me!!! Sidereal or vedic astrology is real!!!!❤

as a hindu I can safely say that according to me vedic is a lot more judgmental because of the rules. They straight up tell you what is fucked about your chart and it can be heartbreaking. I find western astrology more empathetic and they make you feel like there is hope for all of us irrespective of whatever might be scary in the chart. There are so many judgmental astrologers in Vedic it's crazy. They only tell you what is wrong with your chart smh.

In western i have sagittarius sun, and i thought that it didn't make sense because sagittariuses are extroverted homies and i am very introverted and secretive. Everyone thinks i'm a scorpio because of my aloof personality and they would get confused every time i tell them i am a sagittarius. When i looked into the vedic astrology, i found out that i am indeed a scorpio sun 😶

In western I have Scorpio rising/ sagittarius sun and capricorn moon and in Vedic I have Libra rising/Scorpio sun/Moon in sagittarius ---- MOON IN SAGITTARIUS DESCRIBES ME A LOT !!! ESPECIALLY MY CHILDHOOD !!! I WAS A VERY ENERGETIC CAREFREE KID !!!! HAHAHAHA
My favorite astrologer goes by sidereal because it’s based on fixed constellations & not by the seasons. Sidereal uses your moon or rising sign for horoscopes which is more accurate. After studying my tropical & sidereal birth charts & others, I learned that tropical is still accurate but for example: I’m a Sags sun in tropical who values freedom, but my moon sign is actually Aquarius in sidereal which value freedom as well. Just some info for anyone who’s thinking of switching to sidereal :)

What i've noticed with sidereal and tropical is that tropical shows how i want myself to be and look like, while sidereal shows my hidden core and my true self. Tropical is about the ego and sidereal is about the soul.

Gotta disagree my Vedic Birth chart was 100% even though at first i went into denial immediately it's accurate through and through, it was who i am without ego. I think the Tropical astrology represents more of the lower vibrational ego self that you mature out of, leading you to sprout into your true core self stripped of your ego. The more introspection i did in my life and self healing i went through the less and less like my tropical sign i began to act and the less people would think i was my Tropical sign.
Very accurate. For me, and it might sound nutty, but I think my vedic chart represents me after I started using shrooms and LSD. Which goes to what you said of how you'd be with no ego. When my rising changed from Cancer to Gemini everything clicked and made so much more sense!

This!!! I literally came up with this idea as well so it’s honestly good to hear someone thinks the same. Western astrology literally goes by the seasons.. which even proves more so why I feel like it’s more of a 3rd dimensional science behind it. the ego. earth bound energy. I also feel like you’d only relate through that chart when self + spiritual development work isn’t being done.. the western chart basically shows you the cards you were dealt in life.... that’s why it feels so personal. but like in the movie US by Jordan Peele... I feel like once you come face to face with those fears, attachments, and wounds & actullay work through them.... I feel like that’s when you start to relate more to your sidereal chart.

I've been predicting shit with Vedic Nakshatras...once you learn all the 27 Nakshatras and the stories in the sutras you can also just see someone without looking at their chart and when you confirm its like damn this person is really Ardra Nakshatra...but with tropical its more about personality (how you socialise with others)... But vedic is about your character (who you are, how you move, and who you are when others are not there to influence)....

Definitely, I have been practicing on those skills. One thing I have noticed is that Ketu, Rahu, Mercury & Saturn nakshatras are the easiest to notice (both in men & women). Sun & Mars nakshatras are more noticable in Men , Moon & Venus in women & Jupiter is the hardest to notice.

Vedic Astrology makes much more sense to me. In Western I'm Virgo Sun Cancer Ascendant. In Vedic I'm Leo Sun Gemini Ascendant. For a long time, I don't get how I'm Cancer Ascendant then I came across Vedic and it's much spot on.

Vedic astrology is thousands of years old, existed way before the Harappan civilizations so it does require more grinding in terms of arriving at the conclusions.
Vedic astrology is probably way more accurate if you have the mathematical skills and more importantly the patience like KRS to make it your entire world.
The what and the why. That's I how I study them, why I do what I do, why I feel, why I act is my tropical chart. Vedic is what eventually happens..the consequence, the prediction is more accurate. Libra sun, venus, Mercury Scorpio moon and Pisces rising and Gemini Mars in Tropical. But that's not let's say what "happens to me" Libra moon , Virgo Venus, Taurus Mars and Aquarius rising in sidereal. Thank you for this video. As usual phenomenal. 🙏💯

I've studied Tropical for 12 years, and I will say this with confidence, Vedic is just more accurate. Its so in depth and archetypal and has so much more than just your natal, you have your d-9, your d-12, your mahadashas, etc. The dance of Ketu and Rahu is more accurate with the archetypes of the constellations. Every time I read people's charts with Vedic they say they feel more connected to themselves. I truly believe the Age of Aquarius is bringing back ancient methods with a new light. I never felt like a Virgo or Aries moon. Turns out I'm Leo (Purvaphalguni) with Pisces moon (Revati) and Aries rising (Ashwini) and it's just far more accurate.
This is so good. Thank you. I find that Vedic has much better ways of explaining the North Node and South Node, through a very cerebral and also mythological standpoint. It makes more sense to me. A lot of times in Tropical astrology I feel like astrologers are forcing that explanation. And I see it's because it's quite mental. Love you, Alyssa!
Vedic is more accurate for me, I’ve looked into my western birth chart it just doesn’t make sense and doesn’t fit with me at all. My grandfather is hindu and he made out my birth chart it just made more sense to me

I like how you’ve described the uses. I may use Vedic, from now on, as more of a reflection of how I impact the world and universe, where western is more how I’m influenced by the world and navigating that.
I love my western astrology chart much more than Vedic. My Vedic doesn’t match me at all on an emotional level. When I calculated Vedic using tropical I preferred my tropical nakashatra much more lol but I guess that’s incorrect. Interesting Vedic is cool but I prefer western
At first I was a tropical astrologer. But then I couldn’t ignore any more the fact that the placements just simply weren’t accurate. So I switch to Vedic. But Vedic isn’t completely accurate either. In the end it’s best to just look up a telescope and look at the stars and do charts and do research and notice patterns. It’s good to get into all the astrology is available really. Everyone has something insightful. But when you tie in the things they all have in common associated with that specific star and that’s where the true astrology comes through.
I had my Vedic chart read recently and it described my life in details and also predicted the next 3 years.
I’ve never knew the difference until now and I believe Vedic pin points facts.

While I’m a true Vedic astrologer, I definitely look at what tropical astrologer say when they analyze aspects. The tropical astrology version of aspects are so intricate and specific not only because they value squares and textiles, which doesn’t exist in Vedic astrology, but they also include the outer planets. So in the end I feel like it’s best to study both of them!

I actually resonate more with my tropical reading but I also resonate with my sidereal as well. The sidereal is definitely the shadow behind my tropical, a spiritual messenger and adds more layers to my emotionality, and in some ways had similar meanings to my natal chart. BUT after really reading into both of them I realized just how accurate my tropical placements actually are my sun in tropical is a LEO which is very me to the T. I don’t resonate strongly with the “ego” or personality of my sidereal cancer but yet the placements switched significantly to different placements.
Emotions always gets me in trouble so i decided to follow sidereal cause it will protect me. Sidereal astrology always makes sense to me

Vedic astrology is much more accurate. They use math and not inaccurately fixed constellations. All the constellations aren’t the same size. Taurus is huge and Scorpio is quite small. Last night tropical astrologers where saying the full moon was in Virgo when it was literally in Leo. You can look it up on damn google sky map lol. This explanation you’re giving isn’t the whole story. Kinda just more confusing.
Not only that. Vedic astrology uses the divisional charts, such as the D9, D10, D30 and I find the divisional charts very accurate. Western astrology doesn't even use divisionak charts. Plus, Vedic has been here the longest!

Im so happy you made a video about the twos. You are so good in sidereal. I study Jyotic (sidereal) as I love the depth and I like the word you used for vedic that there is " many systems" medical astrology, divisional charts, dashas, etc.
My Vedic astrology will tell me things that are accurate. It’s scary accurate but you need to study your birth chart to get these accuracies.

This is a great explanation. I've always used tropical but I find vedic so accurate that I've begun to dabble with it. Also the last bit about coexistence was beautiful! And exactly how I feel.

At first, when I discovered Tropical I felt really bad with myself, because even tho at some point fitted with my energy (due to the signs, but not the correct placements), It built up an Ego in me I really didn't want, In the past few days I discovered Sidereal and It brought me what I knew deep Inside I was, opened my mind, worked with my fears and mistakes. It is incredible gowing from an Aries Sun to a Pisces one and feeling like fitting but I'm so happy with my Pisces sun, because that's how I've always felt before I knew my Tropical chart.
Finally I have answers! Vedic was so much more accurate then the tropical I grew up with my whole life.
I learned this from Stargirl, i used to be Virgo rising in my tropical chart, when i did my sidereel, i became a leo rising which is more accurate for what i am going through right now,

To me Vedic is more deeper & accurate than tropical. But overall I feel somehow if we manage our present well with an awaken mind & soul we can make a better future of ourselves, even if we surrounded with diseases or other miseries etc we can surpass them with less pain.
If Tropical astrology is connected to the seasons, then shouldn't the different hemisphere's of the Earth be in opposite astrological seasons at any given time? If Aries season is connected to the start of Spring, but it is Autumn on the other side of the world, wouldn't it be Libra season there?
I study Vedic and it's good to understand the external events, but I love the tropical understanding of the mind.

If your moon is in Kritika nakshatra, check the pada. 1st has fiery essence, 2nd has earthy essence, 3rd airy and, the 4th has watery essence. I resonate with both the charts equally. The other planetary placements balance out the chart somehow. It feels like two different perspectives of the same person.

Good video! Personally, I see sidereal/vedic astrology as the astrology of the soul (as it is connected to the cosmos) and tropical as good in mapping out the ego personality. I see that with spiritually inclined people they fit more into their sidereal chart (myself included) yet people who are very ego and earth based, society based, and less concerned with the spiritual, they seem to fit very well, overtly, in the tropical chart. (: I think it is all a matter of how one is oriented within the self. Its fascinating, and I hope more research will be done on this because I see value in both systems (:

Perfect explanation! For spiritual people, or even people who have only been familiar with western astrology and their sun sign has never fit them, sidereal will always win. I always say that people who don’t think they fit with their sign are truly just more in tune with who they are beyond ego and need to see their sidereal placements

Loved your explanation as always, as it broadens and shifts the way I'm going about this subject. Btw, I'm a leo sun in tropical, leo ascendant in both, and pisces moon in vedic, so it hits me at the end when you mentioned that leos tend to only stick with one idea and toss out the other while pisces tend to merge two ideas bcs for me that's always been a struggle. Guess I gotta start looking for the middle ground and harness the aquarius energy in me. Keep it up!

I feel as though when I first studied Western or Tropical astrology, everything just naturally clicks with me. I was amazed at how fast I naturally took in the knowledge of western astrology. I looked into Vedic and it was hard to understand for me but with Tropical, I easily understand it.

I have looked in to Vedic/Sidereal over the past year, and the nakshatras are EXTREMELY accurate. I used to think I was South Node (Ketu) dominant because of personal planets conjuncting the SN. Then I went to Vedic astrology and my Sun is ruled by a North Node (Rahu) nakshatra. I’ve discovered that a lot of the Physical attributes of the Vedic nakshatras are more accurate than the Western signs. There’s a RUclipsr named Claire Nakti who pulls apart the nakshatras and physical appearance based on Vedic Astrology for anyone interested. But yes, I resonate more with the emotional, sensitive Pisces (tropical) than the detached, aloof Aquarius (sidereal)

@@bombdottcom111 yeah, in my charts at least the moved signs don't really change the planetary aspects that much. Because in tropical my sun is in Aries but in 12 th house, which made it seem more Pisces, and in sidereal it does fall in Pisces at the end

Nothing in my tropical chart applies to me. The Jyotish KP system has rasis, karakas, nakshatras, padas, yogas, dashas, etc. Western only has aspects, signs, and houses. Vedic astrology has hundreds of branches of analysis within it. The idea that Vedic doesn't look into "human psychology" is false, there are 19 or so different charts to analyse in Vedic astrology whereas tropical only has 1 chart. The masculine/feminine divide doesn't exist between these two branches so idk what you were trying to say there lmao. Vedic shows that different yogas are activated at different times, so you will not be allowed to do certain things in life without permission of when the yogas are activated. Western astrology would just say yes this will happen but doesn't give a full picture because it only uses signs and houses, not nakshatras, padas, dashas and yogas to calculate a complete description of an individual's life. Astrology is not emotional, it is a science, we are applying the scientific method to find out which system is more accurate. "Coexisting" is irrelevant where truth is concerned, either the predictions made by a branch of astrology are true or false.
Tropical is just not on the level of Vedic, this is comparing apples and oranges, the only thing in common is that they fall under the broad subject of "astrology".

There are just too many things you can do with Vedic that you can't with Western, you can't just compare one aspect and make up some narrative about Aphrodite's cock and think you've made a good video. Western astrology drove me NUTS! because nothing seemed to fit, vedic does fit. The tropic is the 23.5 th degree the highest northern point the "Sun" reaches and that happens now in Gemini not Cancer, and the same for the southern or lowest point of 23.5 th degree which is in Sagittarius not Capricorn. Then why you may ask do they say "Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn" well that's a good question, I'm glad you asked, since they haven't compensated for the movement for the last 2,160 years or one sign. Or they I should say they haven't made it known and changed what it should be called, they are well aware of the mistake people make when referring to it. Want to verify this? Download stellarium and use the equatorial grid and fast forward until the sun reaches it's highest and lowest points and take note what constellations they are in, you'll find what I say is true. Western astrology is crap, took me a long time to figure out why I was brought up aka lied to thinking I was an Aquarius, and the sun is clearly in Capricorn the time and year I was born, in fact everyone was brought up aka lied to and none of you are what you thought you was. They tell you what they did and are doing everytime they lie and refer to the "Tropic of Cancer", yeah it was 2000 years ago.

vedic astrology is not always sidereal, some vedic astrologers use the tropical zodiac, some names you can search up are vic dicara, ryan kurczak, ernst Wilhelm, carmina amza, eye of the veda

Fundamentally we need to acknowledge Tropical astrology, in tying stellar observation to earth cycles isn’t following the stars, it’s using them as reference points for earth energies. It is therefore actually a kind of Geomancy. The astrological perspective will still come into view with degrees of aspects and positioning, but it’s not a purely astrological system really. It’s a geomantic type of astrology.
I do Vedic with tropical calculations that's what works best for me but getting there was a total mind fuck and I had to figure this out before I could go deeper into astrology. Here to hear your perspective 💚

I’ve been getting more and more into sidereal cause a lot of things been aligning and making so much more sense I wanna get into vedic next but something within kept not sitting right within when I was more into tropcial when I first got into astrology cause astrology comes from the constellations they go hand and hand so it felt like I wasn’t being true to the natural rhythms of the earth so I made that leap into sidereal I started paying attention to details and actions of people and it really showed that even if I say I’m this sign the traits of anyones sdereal energy really comes out like my tropical says I’m libra but I was born under virgo constellation I’m into details, helping others, always learning new things and synthesizing things into systems and I’m not so love and light I’ve notice it really blew my mind and was ego blow at first but the energy I’ve awakened to and realized I am was been a whole other empowering shift and my whole add libra stellium made all the sense why I feel like a libra but a essence of me being libra was like no lol it’s been a whole journey to say the least I love astrology lol

I was born into a community that followed vedic traditions, including the jyotish system. It was always sold to me that it was better than western astrology, but as an adult I became a student of western and found that to not be the case. There are distinct differences, but they do not outshine one or the other. It is more accurate to ask what are you looking for from the stars?

Okay, Its both Tropical and Vedic. Tropical shifted more to sidereal during the last decades. But, Lets say; Its so easy if you’re just willing to look at it. In my case I’m more a Pisces sun (Vedic) than Aries sun (Tropical). What my findings are; in Tropical and Vedic, my Aries comes out in Venus and mercury both, so the fire is there. Still, I have also a lot of communicative intellect and thinking forces (Vedic Gemini ascendant), and also at the same time, watery emotions ( western Cancer ascendant). They’re both right and they are also both in my charts, only in different places. Aaand, don’t forget about my Pisces sun in Vedic astrology (water emotion). My moon is Tropical Capricorn and Vedic is Sagittarius, but also both of them fit in if you read the complete charts.
I also want to note that my love has both his Tropical and Vedic sun in Scorpio. He has a lot of scorpio in both the Vedic and Tropical astrology charts.

My big three in western/tropical astrology is leo sun, taurus moon, and caner rising whilst my verdic/sidereal big three is cancer sun, aries moon, and gemini rising. Overall, my verdic chart makes much more sense and actually hits the nail instead of hitting the general vicinity like my tropical chart. All my life I have felt I should be a cancer sun as I don't really act like a leo (i ha blamed it on my cancer rising) and I have just found out I am indeed a cancer sun in verdic astrology. I am so glad I have discovered this!

My best friend believes she is a starseed meant to usher the world into the age of aquarius. I want to know things like what are the purpose of starseeds and is there something that can indicate being a starseed in your birth chart? Clarady Brooks there is a guy named Grayham (can’t remember his last name) that does starseeds/galactic origin charts. From my own intuition and what I’ve heard there are an estimated 1 billion to 4.5 billion starseeds incarnated in earth.

If you have a bad natal chart, you're likely blessed... The strong are the first to go on this planet. The powers at be... Society is designed to destroy the strong first, and shelter the weak (at least more so than those who are not). Depending on how strong the soul is, likely the bigger they'll be cursed... Reincarnating into bodies with down syndrome, and so forth... Likely the reason why such people are called "special". My vedic chart is 100% me, or at least it seems that way... My western chart on the other hand is not accurate at all. I'm a powerful soul (or at least that's what my Vedic chart tells me), and from personal experience what I know about the world, experience, and what I can do it seems that my Vedic chart is correct, and my life is a LIVING nightmare. I'm surrounded by weaklings... People that don't even come close to my potential, and I have to put up with them on a DAILY BASIS... I wouldn't if the system didn't place them on a plat form above me. They're like a herd of buffalo, trampling over a wolf (me).

When I tested concrete predictive techniques (I used Indian techniques) on both tropical and sidereal charts, tropical won more often. I found with concrete predictive astrological methods, tropical was more accurate. I therefore use tropical signs. However, I do firmly believe their is also a sidereal orientation to one's being, I just don't use signs I use nakshatras.
