Thanks for watching! - Наука
I'm a curator of Decorative Art at National Museums Liverpool in the UK. Watching some of the Smithsonian videos is making me quite jealous regarding the resources they have. We're not short of resources compared to a lot of other UK museums, but we're not in this league.
It does allow for a lot of improvisation and ingenuity though with regard to the way we display things.
Great videos.
I like her. Conveying peoples thoughts and expectations into reality can't be easy.
I love that they did this series! I work in museums building exhibits and working collections, it’s so nice to see it getting the proper love it deserves.
Brilliant. What an engaging lady. I so want to know more about the craft and witness the process. Thanks TESTED.
This Smithsonian Exhibit Series is amongst the most fascinating things I've ever watched on this platform!
Adam always asks the questions that get the greatest answer possible
Client: its not going to be that small right?
thank you very much for sharing experience.
This was a great into talk into the subject of exhibit building.
There is a handsome and informative book on museum exhibition design from the eyes of a famed museum exhibition designer with decades of experience in planning and designing museum exhibitions. The book is available at Fine Arts Press. The book should be of interest to anyone working in or interested in museum exhibition design, as well as residential design in regards to fine art installation.
Great series
Also heard there going to putting up some bob ross area, I can't wait to come back up to Washington to see
Wow.thanks for this.i have really no idea this kind of stuff. Now i know.
She has a one of a kind job, that's so cool.
What is this?? A CENTER FOR ANTS!?
it has to be at least........ 3 times bigger than this!
Beat me to it.
Please make a life-size Moon Rover!
I honestly don’t believe savage exists you’re like a bob ross of exepirmenation we shall never lose you
I can’t get over Adams Omega Speedmaster, I absolutely love that watch and the history with it. It would be awesome if Adam could link up with Omega or NASA for a video and talk about the testing the watch had to endure to make it too the moon.
The best exhibit to me is in the American history museum, the American revolution in war history is amazing, having figured and everything
Hold the camera steady, yo!
Are computers and phones eligible for any museum? I do like exhibit presentations, one of the best features assassins creed origins and odessy have in my opinion lol
This series is like opening the curtains of the Wizard of Oz, and see how all the magic happens..
0:32-0:46
2:17-2:40
very similar to a set model for theatre..
I'm gonna have a talk with that mini microphone.
Good video. But the sound seems off. The voice pitch seems to be slightly high as if the video has been sped up. I have noticed this on several other videos I have watched on youtube from other content creators. Weird.
Sounds normal to me. Is your playback sped up?
Кто, мать вашу, поставил трёх Лукашенко?!
What a hottie she is
She is indeed extremely sexy.
WHat is this? AN Exhibit for ANTS?
Holy shit adam is no longer ginger
Nothing but *upspeak.*
Love all of these in this little series, but I could not work in this office. Whatever is on the shelf behind her, presumably samples books or something of the sort...have numbers....numbers people. That six does not belong there. Seems like people that sweat the details would notice that...and be driven crazy by it.
I assume there's a 1 behind her.. than 2,6,3,4,4,5,6...
A Smithsonian exhibitionist, eh? My kind of gal...
Like pulling teeth. Unclear what she does for the Smithsonian. Her enthusiasm is in her locker. Easy check to collect when there are no expectations of you and means of measurement of your success. A surprise after the preceding videos of riveting content. No one's fault really- just a shocker. So... exibit design. .. and here's Steve with tomorrow's weather.
James Barisitz Not everything that is meaningful can be fitted into a 10-minute video.
And everybody can’t be expected to be good at expressing enthusiasm on film, nor should they.
