I did a little camping myself Quady. I crashed a pheasant trail hunt and turned it into a campsite with my car. It was at the Grand Kankakee marsh. The trails were closed and I managed to find a gate open and I snuck in. I got 3 hours of sleep and then the Parks department official kicked me outta there. It was a fun 3 hours of peace and tranquility while it lasted. Love what you did to the van. Semi truck driver Mark.
I love the blue colors inside and out! Very calming. Spicy ramen tacos, I’m definitely going to try those. I agree with @Jessica. Awesome raccoon sheets😂.
You should get a fold down shelf/table for 1 or both of you side doors, it would give ya a little more options hanging out on side of your van down by the river. Looks like ya had a great time, tacos looked banging.

You need to get a cargo rack that goes into the receiver. You can put your bulky stuff in it and take it off when it is in the way. That’s what I use mine for when I need it.
I’ve been in the truck topper situation I’ve got used and painted them the time spent on getting it making it right your better off just ordering a new one. It will be just what you want no compromises.
Glad the screens held up, I made some for my van after watching you. I hand stitched the corner and center of each side so they wouldn’t fall apart. So far, only made the driver and passenger side, working on the back windows next. My van is an ‘87 conversion van. Enjoying your videos. Keep up the good work.

*Paint the topper yourself. You can get good paint professionals use.* *Also even if the shell is an inch or so short, it can still fit and seal up good. Just kinda split the difference so it doesn't really look bad at all. I have seen them alot like that and if you don't know any different, it looks normal. I have actually seen 3 in the last few days.*
When you make the refried beans you can make them more tasty if you add about 3-4 tablespoons of bacon grease, when we fry bacon we save the grease for flavoring beans and other stuff we cook like greens or pinto beans , also stir in some garlic powder and cumin, the cumin will really make it tasty probably about half a teaspoon for that can also add some black pepper for me I like a good portion of black pepper for the taco if you have bacon, eggs and cheese with the beans in a flour tortilla and you have a Tex-Mex style tauquito

*What are your bed measurements?? I have seen those aluminum ones on you tube video's. Check out Bob Wells truck camper tours. Some of them ordered the way they want it.. That way you could insulate it better and fix the walls and such like you want. Even have it made however tall you want it.*
Wow that OLD STYLE BEER brings back many fun memories!!! Use to drink it with a straw 😂 ( I thought I needed to drink like a lady ) but not a beer drinker anymore. But thats why they are memories. Don’t have it here in Michigan. That’s when I lived in Chicago. I know what you mean about the snow!!! It’s getting colder earlier and earlier every year!!! That's a beautiful camp site. What I cannot figure out is why no one is camping there. I live in North Carolina and the campsites are always full.

Had a 79 chevy fishing van years ago and miss it dearly. Installed a pop up LP camper heater in in from a junk yard had some good times "enjoy."
