My favorite part of camping/van videos is the cooking parts. I love that in your videos the cooking portion is more fleshed out and you show almost everything. Being disabled its really fun to watch people like you go out and camp. Hopefully one day I get better and can do normal people stuff again like I did a few years ago. Also with the TV, a lot of people wouldn't buy a 720p TV but honestly I think its fine. I grew up in the early 2000s and 720p then feels like what 4k is now.
Hey Mike how you doing? You look awesome. That makes my heart happy. I’ve been praying. I got surgery coming up soon for my lungs. Yes I’m a little scared cause they are messing with my breathing machine. But I anticipate to get better so this is the way to do it. I’m just glad that you are getting better everyday. I care a lot about you. I care for the Mrs and for you.
Dude, I’m so glad you’re doing OK. I haven’t been getting any of your notifications ever since you went to the hospital. I thought you were dead. I’m so glad that you’re alive and well. ❤👏🏻😱
Awesome as always Mike. Dinner looked scrumptious yummy steak tortilla-envelope. Whatever you call it 😆 🤣 😂 😹 The Van just looks so comfy and cozy. Aww, don't take the tv back. What I did for a summer in my RV was I had my TV and a small dvd player, and I watched movies that I collected over the years wasn't bad. I just didn't want to pay for portable internet lol. But it worked the only time I watched it was before bed. But I'm sure you'll figure something out. Thank you for sharing your awesome adventures and for all the hard work and time you put into your videos. KEEP ADVENTURING Stay awesome!
You can make any mount work with a little modifications. Hell I use picture wire, washers and screws to mount tvs. And use the rubber door stoppers to give space. Works fantastic and saves a couple $100. Think outside of the box.
I miss my flatpack grill. It was stolen!! It had fire in it and i went to rest room..about 10 minute round trip. When i returned..the fire was on the ground..the grill WAS GONE!!!! NO WITNESS...of course😢
Mentioned once before. A couple of computer fans lashed together would fit nicely in those screened windows. Computer fans are 5 or 12 V and can be run to exhaust and intake, creating a breeze.
When I started out in van life 12 years ago I had a TV, it was really cool at that time and phone's didn't have the capacity that they have today, over time I got red of the TV and just use my phone. It's simpler. Have a good day my friend.
So great to see you camping Mike! I love the simple camping videos. Still would love to see you at a Nebraska football game to show subscribers what that is about!
Crazy quad lol don't fell bad I did the same think bought an old 65inch flat screen for $50 and when I brought it home and hook it all up I realized it wasn't a smart TV and I couldn't run it of the wifi I had to buy one of those roku devices to make it a smart TV 😅. Glad your feel better keep in good health and keep the videos coming bro !!!
What up CQ!! Keep on gett’N better and keep on taking good care of yourself! Proud of you bro for the health decisions you are making, keep loving and living life my Guy and everything will be just fine! Love you brother ☝️ keep taking care of your health !!
happy you came back a few weeks or months ago. I had to watch some new videos, but they were nothing like yours. Stay healthy. We don't want another health scare. Have fun and keep on being you. Happy travels🎉
@@Obamas_Nipple plus he could play music cds on the dvd player as well..thru the tv. i know hes obeying copyright rules..but if i was camping, id be playing grateful dead cds all nite by the campfire!!
Hope you get the tv figured out. Steak and salad for the win! Glad to see you out and about. Stay safe. Pray for the people affected by hurricane Helene. 🙏👍🇺🇸
Went old school Wednesday afternoon after a storm knocked power out for ten hours. Have an old walkman cassette/radio player with a speaker and used it. Read a book using a headlamp. Didn't miss wifi as kept myself occupied.
Glad to see you back - very glad to see you are taking care of yourself also. I would like to see you drinking different non alcoholic drinks. I quit drinking a few years ago and am always looking for stuff to drink. Glad you’re still with us buddy! Hang in there.
I like the TCL Brand TVs. Simple set up, good picture and affordable. Check them out. Good to see you out camping after the heart attack. It’s rough getting back to normal or it was for me. I had one 4 years ago at 37 years old. Scared the hell out of me for sure. Take care of yourself & listen to your body. Sending much love to you & your family!
The scan for channels would get quite a few local channels, as I think he's near a major city (Lincoln?), but there has to be some sort of an antenna going into the coaxial input on the back. You get the most channels with an amplified rooftop-type antenna (but of course he's not going to do that), almost as many without the amplifier, and then some channels, not all, with unamplified rabbit ears. You have to scan for channels, of course, in the Menu.
Great to see you back out camping in the van and it is nice to have a good tv with you when you are camping. you always have something great to cook up and the steak looked really good take care and until next time Thank You Quady.⛺🏞⛺
Glad to see you up and running. Go Big Red! Not sure if you have one, but I bought a small battery powered bug zapper. I put it in my RV about an hour before I close up for the night. Kills any mosquitoes that find their way in. For me, it’s a must have. Smile every time I here it crackle. God bless you!
I had fun watching 👀 hope you are doing well I got so excited about the TV 📺 and then it didn't work out but the stake and wrap looked great and yummy 😋
Good video. Glad to see you.looking healthy. Between reading the directions and the comments here, you’ll have the TV and cellphone stuff figured out quickly. Keep up the great work!
Maybe mount a swing arm behind the drivers seat, not a cabinet, and you can't swing it away or to whatever position you want and keep your space. It could transfer to the truck as well.
Quady brotha, I really enjoy your videos 😎Chillin like a villain! been subscribed to you for a little bit now and it’s always nice to see the prospective of everything behind the camera lens, keep it smooth man!
Check an RV store for that mount. Thats what we have in our RV..2017...factory installed. Swiveles side to side..swings to watch outdoors or either end of RV
Get a French Cleat to mount your TV, and then you can take it down and put it up when you want! When it's down all you see is an inconspicuous mounting bar. You can get one off the jungle site.
I have a 24” Roku tv in my Tahoe. Seems massive in the space of the back of a Tahoe but I also have a digital antenna, HDMI to phone cord, and a little DVD player. So I can always watch something when I want. All powered by a bluetti solar generator.

An articulating monitor mount should work just fine for your new TV, it appears to have standard vesa pattern screw holes on the back. I personally use VIVO brand off Amazon and have had no issues with mine.
Have the same tv in my van. It’s actually pretty decent for the price. Use firestick in places with WiFi or antenna in places without. Also have hdmi to apple adapter for phone. That tv doesn’t have cast feature. I was surprised as well.
I've used my hot spot on camping trips, to even watch nfl games.. just depends on ur location. You can also buy a small wifi portable box. It fits in your hand. We have that for if my hot spot doesn't work, and to stream pet cam when we're not at the camper. Best of luck!
Glad I watched this because I have been contemplating those tortilla pockets! Went and got some to make some vegetarian burritos lol. Thanks for this and now I am super stoked to try them out this weekend!

I have that same tv. Sometimes the color messes up and you have to unplug it and turn it back on. I dropped mine and banged it up and it still works. I also got it pretty cheap
Quady: Just run an HDMI cable from your computer to one of the HDMI inputs on the tv, select that HDMI with your remote, and play something on your computer. Consider a 12v dc tv. Your power box inverter consumes power converting its dc voltage to ac voltage so you lose watts right there, a 12v dc tv can run off your power boxes 12v port and not have to go through the inverter.

I had to download a casting app on my phone to connect to my tv, as Smart View didnt recognise my tv. I just figured you needed either mobile data or wifi connection, and that would connect to the tv, didnt realise the tv itself also needed to be connected to the same network 🙈 Hope you get it working 🙏
