3:29 Actually, Delta brought her up once in season 6. He was telling Church about how she was implanted with two AI. Timestamp for that is 44:13.

Thinking about how after Epsilon’s “I forget you line” he says something along the lines of “do your worst world, I sure have”. Makes me feel like he really would have kept going forever if he didn’t think the unit was failing. If he didn’t think they (Tex and Him) were going to die, would he have really not ever let her go? Anyways! Now I’m sad 😄

    .... okay, I'll say it:
    First.
Seriously, though, great video! I am going to miss this. I'm the guy who continues to say there was never a bad season of RWBY and Red vs. Blue is one of my favorite pieces of media fiction of all time.
And I will say even the worst piece of rooster teeth content is still a 1000 times better than the best episode of [insert bad streaming series].
Rooster Teeth has been a sinking ship, but it was *my* sinking ship. And I'd do close to anything to keep it afloat.

In season 8, tex's arrival is met with something special, although we never hear it till this moment.. it's the song 'Agent Tex', it has a very cool and slow guitar riff as an intro. This is what i consider her REVIVAL THEME, and is exclusive to EPSILON TEX. This song starts playing before we see her face
This is played in season 8 specifically, we know that red vs blue, at least the blood gulch crew side of it and not project freelancer has guitar riffs or stingers thrown throughout the show, so we come to realise that this is the specific riff that plays when tex comes in, oddly this is not tex's original riff according to the history of the show
Tex's original riff comes from 'A Girl Named Tex' So we associate tex from post freelancer and during blood gulch with 'A Girl Named Tex' 's Riff, but that's not really who she is (she is literally not named tex but is allison). A girl named tex is used to represent tex playing out this identity under which she hides her AI self and backstory
Funny part is tex's original riff according to the show is not her original riff, its actually the riff from 'Agent Tex' if you think according to the timeline, since project freelancer happens first
So at 0:34 of agent tex we are finally introduced to her real theme, this is agent tex from project freelancer revived and she's a badass. At the background of her theme there's some weird opera like singing voices in her theme. It feels ghostly to me, which fits epsilon tex, but the reason is because those ghostly choirs are (at least chronologically) picked up from the theme of Sharkface / Rooftop (the rooftop part)
So basically, 'Agent Tex' is supposed to be a more revived back to life rendition of tex's theme from Rooftop, since back then she was the real beta tex and not epsilon tex
At the same time 'Agent Tex' incorporates the 'A Girl Named Tex' riff into the song as well, as a nod to the previous tex who beats the reds and blues' asses.
It's interesting that Rooftop has string composition (which is the general theme of PF songs) and merges carolina's theme too, and Carolina's theme is played right before we see her face too as she joins north and south in episode 2/3, and HER theme also has those opera singers, nodding to HER relation with tex, which is pretty damn cool
SO basically the song 'Agent Tex' chronologically picks up ideas from the songs A girl Named Tex (halfway through the song) , Carolina's theme in extraction (the choir part), Rooftop (the string part and the melody of the choir) , and then adds its OWN part (the starting riff) to make a completely unique song. This song has so much BACKSTORY to it, representing her conflict with carolina, her revival from death, her true identity exposed and perfectly tells TEX's story and its almost become RT's theme too. Ironically this song came before all the project freelancer tracks yet excluding a girl named tex, since that part is specifically included to show epsilon tex's current relation with the characters of recollection/blood gulch
Also not to forget, the director's theme ending has tex's ghostly opera melody put into the end, which insists that the director meets the true allison, her ghost who's passed away to the afterlife and joins her in his own death
And to think all of this is done for a machinima web series which is not appraised for just its music but its animation and comedy is mind boggling, this song is a literal masterpiece in leitmotifs

I always see season 9 looked down on, mostly for the Reach portions. But to me, they're an integral part of what makes the season, and RvB's story as a whole, so good.
