- Dashcam video shot on April 26 showed the moment a powerful tornado destroyed a building in Lincoln, Nebraska during a deadly, multi-state outbreak of severe storms.
The building, hit by the twister carrying winds as high as 158 m/ph (254 km/h), belonged to Garner Industries.
According to local media, there were dozens of workers still inside as the tornado struck, but all survived the incident.

I can hear it now "Just keep working everyone, nothing to worry about and no you can not go home",..
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
0:13 That 6 fan condenser blew by like a leaf in the wind
I know!!! I put it at .25 speed and saw it! Wonder how much that sucker weighs?
It peeled that roof off like a tin can lid. Absolutely insane physics at play.
Bad quality building. Don’t blame the weather when you can’t build a proper building
@@saltyjo7514 yeah im sure you'll still be singing this tune this after an EF4+ sweeps your "Well built house" away.
I could never live in areas that have to deal with this. This is terrifying!
I grew up in NE, KS, Iowa etc. You don't "get used to them" but you learn the safety rules, and stay alert when the weather gets bad. After a while, you can "feel it" when the weather turns potentially violent. And you don't live in a building without a basement.
Tornados can develop anywhere in the world, and especially in the United States. Even Maine has had EF3 tornados. It’s just some areas tend to have more or ones of higher intensity because of their location and climate. With the right conditions, you could get an EF5 Tornado is downtown Hartford, Connecticut. Springfield, Massachusetts had one of the deadliest tornados of all time that ended up being classified as an EF4.
And they keep on rebuilding😂
Wow. That really solidifies the importance of following the advice to seek shelter underground! Retreating to a center room away from windows, standing in a doorway, lying in a bathtub, etc, aren’t going to cut it when the literal entire structure above ground gets ripped clean off😨
Live everyday like it could be your last because it can end that fast.
I recommend watching this in slow motion. Incredible power
How was no one seriously injured in that?? Wow…
I'm surprised the closest up cars didn't budge, but the ones near the building sure did.
Shocking 😐
that hvac system smoked that Dekota hard
Bruh the way it just flew by like it was a piece of small trash on the street is scary.
Notice how most of the Veritcal windows blew out like tissue paper, but the sloped windows sustained the wind speed, aerodynamics are real. High profile vehicles don't fare as well.
Holy God 😱
This one like Hollywood movies
Let everyone know we have earthquakes in California: But Why Would You Live Anywhere Else?
like its paper
Concrete actually. Those white wall things were concrete
The air pressure was intense to suck the windows in on them cars😮
Whoa
So was someone in the car or did they turn on the dashcam and then run to safety? I’m not so sure they had a basement
Dasham
The air turbulence is getting stronger and much more violance. Underground shelters is becoming mandatory in this dangerous situation.
I grew up in Kansas / midwest and went through a few severe tornadoes. I would NEVER live there unless our house / apartment had a basement.
@@davequ Better considered a fallout shelter now because it's getting bigger and unforgiving.
The building isn't made out of brick & steel or it's just solid wood?😮
Big sheets of concrete
So cars are the safe place them?
No, it didn’t hit the parking lot. What cars were hit on the west side of the building, were destroyed..
@@carolbarnes3212 damn....
Flying cars, the way nature intended it
😢😢😮😮
in hollywood movie we can see cars got flying
How do you survive that
You don't

Can technology stop these natural disasters ?
can technology stop earthquakes and avalanches?
Never underestimate the awesome power of God
Always stay prayed up, and be obedient to the good Lord, so that you can remain in the good WILL OF God, OUR LORD & SAVIOR JESU CHRIST
Pray before you leave the house this morning, ASK GOD TO GO OUT BEFORE THROUGH OUT YOUR DAY
Tell that to Ukrainians and Palestinians.
lol
Um yeah, those children who die in storms like this. So unworthy. This is natural science. This god person you speak of is a myth. Just like all the other mythological gods people don't believe in anymore.
Quite a religious part of the country, IIRC. Yet… Tornado Alley. Plus that sits badly with notion of a benevolent, kind, deity. Pray or else.
I’d leave a clever response, but RUclips’s algorithm deletes all my comments now. So I’ll just say, praise Jeebus! Haleleuyah!
10 seconds and it is gone!
