Great tip on thinning the front and lifting the back a bit. It subtly enhances the look of the pot. Glazing tip really works. I hope everyone appreciates you passing on this knowledge to the next generation of potters. When I started in the early-70's there were a few books and a workshop now and then. The Internet and videos make learning much more accessible. Again thank you for all you do.
Thanks for this! Do you make the lip immediately after throwing or do you wait? I was making a mixing bowl last night but the lip was too wet and turned out not so nice. Thought maybe i ned to wait longer.
