Doctor Strange (MCU) lost pretty humiliatingly against a guy who basically just had telekinesis (that follower of Thanos) or only used that to defeat him. The end.

@@LazyLoonz Vader got shocked for 15 seconds straight I doubt a punch would actually bother him. Plus, Doctor strange wouldn’t even get close enough to punch Vader since he can literally force choke him and strange can do nothing about it.
If having his astral form be Anakin Skywalker isn't enough proof to say that Vader can never be rid of Anakin than I don't know what is.
yes the dark side does change everyone that goes in it ,but anakin actually took it a step further with something that is basically denial ,so yeah star wars is deep as fuck and thats why its so great ,there are so many layers to this!
What else was he supposed to look like? Even if completely fell to darkness his base human form is still Anakin. Vader is half machine and the human part of him is cooked.

@@slugbugs2858 it's different, getting limbs cut off lowers your force potential more than crippling a limb would, because of midichlorians in the blood and all that, being crippled might not even effect sorcerers in marvel beyond their Training process being a bit more difficult, we don't really know

Is it just me or I like how his soul is Anakin. Not because that's his alter ego or old self but because there is still a part of Anakin in Vader?
Vader is literally Anakin. He doesn't have some personality disorder.
I've read theories and 'diagnoses' from the psych community that Anakin had borderline personality disorder and honestly the Kenobi finale just confirms this further with how he refers to Anakin in the third person. If Doctor Strange has the power to force someone to astral project, or push their astral body out of their physical body, this astral body is Anakin; mental illness does not impact the astral body because the mental body is different. The mind may THINK it's something it's not (Vader, this alter ego or personality), but it's just not that. The astral body is much more associated with emotions and ether than mental energy, which belongs to willpower and identity and where borderline personality disorder would be impacting; he's Anakin there. After all, it's Anakin's emotions that fuel the dark side, his memories, which belong to the emotional/astral body.

I’d say it’s more associated with your base form or how you started before you turned into something else. Just like Hulk from Endgame or Spider-Man from No Way Home. Both of the astral projections are their bodies before they put on a suit or turned into something else.
@Karmai9 Okay bro, a recent study lmao. What Vader is has always been a part of Anakin. Those evil tendencies were very clearly seen in the clone wars. War is a true test of character, and if it wasn't for Obi Wan and the other Jedi he would have become Vader (commit evil acts) a lot sooner. Vader is simply Anakin that embraced his evil nature. Luke makes him realize that this was not the right way.

Well dude Dr.Strange & The Sorcerers are basically like The Jedi in The MCU.
Yeah they’re many Orders, Clans, Teams ,Groups, & Organizations in all of DC & Marvel that are like The Jedi using energy as a source of power to hone their skills and techniques while fighting for Justice or some form of it but Dr.Strange & The Masters Of The Mystic Arts in The MCU are definitely like The Jedi using the power of energy/magic that they pull from The Multiverse to protect Their Earth from Mystical threats all over The Multiverse.
Another example would be Dr.Fate & all The Powerful Martial Artist & Magic Users in The DC Universe who try keep their earth safe from powerful Multiverse based threats.
Dr.Fate did come first originally as The Sorcerer Supreme, Dr.Strange came a little later. The difference is Jedi & your traditional Martial Artist or Monks will use natural Ki/Chi/Force energy that can be accessible within all living things like The Martial Arts Monks who trained Batman , The Chaste in Daredevil or The Monks Of Kun Lun in Iron Fist, while sorcerers like Dr.Fate , Dr.Strange & The Masters Of The Mystic Arts will use unnatural magic from the chaotic energy of The Multiverse which is more Darkside like in terms of practice.

@@Sinsmoke_ I can see that in personality but The Scarlet Witch seems very morally unstable compared to Anakin and that’s saying something. Despite all the hate, rage , sadness and insanity he felt guilt, and conflicted feelings for his path that lead to Vader, Wanda was just dead set on her interests and didn’t see the faults in her actions until her own kids showed it to her.

In Star Wars canon this would NOT end well for Dr. Strange as in the comics (made by Marvel infact) we actually see Vader's astral form fighting in the World Between Worlds and it's STRONGER than his physical body, with red Force Lightning to boot.
Pretty sure he wouldn't be talking with the fact he would've been forcefully knocked into this state
I love how people say that Strange is more powerful and that he would win, although vader has a good chance of having the most powerful version of Strange in mind, but no one talks about how the fight of the most powerful version of Strange with the full potential of anakin would look like

Interesting cause anakins also a force ghost in canon and is sustained by the force as the chosen one so seeing as how Dr Strange interacts with the metaphysical I think phoebe ghost anakin would be interesting.

And after being seperated from his body and realising he doesn't need his body to use the force, because he's a luminous being, Vader swiftly ends Stranges life with the force. This is the dark timeline cause he could just as easily turn back to the light in that moment. But this is fun to think about.
And then Strange comes to bargain...

It's kinda the same thing with Doctor Doom (from DB) Strange has more magical knowledge and stronger ability to use it than Vader whose mechanical limbs and cumbersome suit limit his abilities both with the Force and with combat. The only real difference is Strange would probably try to save Anakin whereas Doom just doesn't care about him.

I think it's even. Unless Strange just keeps knocking him out of his body, Vader could very well use all his sith training and hatred to at least try and defeat him.
No,it isn't. Strange in the comics(or even MCU honestly) is too powerful. Strange in comics defeated Dormamu(the being equal or even stronger than Odin himself) and destroys universes easily. MCU Strange fight pretty well against Thanos with 4 Infinity stones. Thanos with 1 power stone can easily destroy a planet.
actually vader is no stranger to astral projection. in fact astral form is his strongest form.

I believe Qui Gon, Yoda, Obi Wan & Dr.Strange are on The Same Level of power behind their abilities especially after Qui Gon, Yoda & Obi Wan became Force Ghosts. Dr.Fate maybe higher considering he’s a god just using humans as vessels. Anakin would join them in levels of power when’s he’s a force ghost.

Plus since Dr.Strange uses magic which is unnatural chaotic energy of the Darkside within The Multiverse of Star Wars Jedi can use the force to undo the effects of magic and spells as illusions since their connection to the force which is infinite in most continuities. The EU being the only exception since it tries to make limitations to The Force in some cases. The G-Canon shows that your average force user with a lot of training can be very dangerous their not super human but they do have access to abilities beyond the limitations of the physical world on a cosmic level. I won’t even get into how dangerous Force Gods will be for Dr.Strange.

Yes. It is in Star Wars canon and Vader is way more powerful in Astral form. Vader is unable to wield all of his power because of limitations of his body and suit. See Marvel's Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith #25

That's interesting thanks. I wasn't to sure if force ghost logic applied to astral form. Like they need to be in force sensitive area to use the force as a example.
I'm currently way behind in the Vader comics as I prefer to get a physical copy.
@@joshualally2883 it would be more likely that Strange multiverse jumped to the Star Wars universe than the other way round tho, meaning this takes place in the Star Wars universe, so he would be able to use the force in astral form in this circumstance.

@Eh Ha literally not. Vader is more knowledgeable about the force than strange is of magic. He is literally the chosen one and his reflexes are far faster than strange’s. All he has to do is a simple neck snap and strange is a pitiful corpse.
@Eh Ha again, it’s as easy as a neck snap. Mcu characters are incredibly weak compared to your average jedi knight and Vader killed a few thousand in a single night. However Marvel comics versions are a different story.

I believe that legends Vader could have a chance as long as dr strange doesn’t have the time stone because Vader could just use the force to unlock inter dimensional beings such as chaos which he was able to do in clone wars so full power Vader would win
Even then Vader isn't the only one with access to inter dimensional being's.
I'd say the victory clearly goes to Strange, but Vader would without a doubt try to put up a fight
