The modulation on Vader's half-mask voice was tremendous. Loved how you matched the sound of the show with a mix of Hayden and James Earl Jones.

It's probably like a stab wound. You can sometimes survive them.
The lightsaber would cauterize the wound, so someone could survive for a period of time but with internal damage.

Seriously. Getting stabbed with a lightsaber would be like having all your organs deep fried while getting a sizable hole in your body.
The fact that Qui-Gon survived long enough to give Obi-Wan his last words is nothing short of a miracle. And Riva just walking it off is quite frankly impossible.

You do realize Maul got cut in half and survived? Not a damn person was complaining about that. But a stab? They just cry and blame Disney. It’s been stated multiple times that the darkside allows people to survive through hatred. But the Jedi are willing to accept death and become one with the force while the sith cling to life.

I just thought that Qui Gon used too much of the Force to do those crazy flips and jumps and he was too tired to heal. As seen when he needed to catch his breath when the laser gates were blocking him and Darth Maul. When the gates open, he didn’t have enough time to recover and had to go straight into the fight.
@@hfar_in_the_skyexcept reva must have healed she had a sabre right through her. but she isn't all that powerful both obi wan and vader throw her around like a rag doll. She didn't seem like prodigy either. Maul must have healed too but his master the op one. Speaking of which if only the most powerful force users can force heal yoda and sidious could have easily. Sidious could have healed vader and got his dream apprentice back. And yoda would have healed many order 66 fallen jedi.
@@xxSpike1989xx Maul I believe is explained away as surviving purely on spite and dark force energy with no actual healing going on until he gets back to the Night Sisters. The Order 66 targets all died pretty quickly, so nothing for Yoda to do there. And at least in the games, Force Healing is exclusively a light side ability in the same way Lightening is only ever seen used by dark side users, so that's a possible explanation.

basically disney made a point to debuff Lightsabers and to make Jedi's have all the healing and resurrecting powers that would've come in super handy during the prequels era especially during Order 66.
Force heal is a thing but disney is using it casually like everybody knows it. It is ancient Jedi knowledge
Force healing is a thing it's ancient Jedi Knowledge some people like Baris Offee and Luminara Unduli can do it while others like Qui Gon and Obi Wan can't.
If you think that's bad just wait until the inevitable OT remake where Luke Skywalker is a strong black wahmen who don't need no man
@@andrewcabral963 Then they should have established the idea that Jedi have to spend time studying and cultivating certain Force skills so no one can be a "do everything" Jedi. It creates a better sense of immersion, like when you have a college and some people are good at math and others are better at writing; everyone who graduates will ideally achieve some level of mastery over a specific thing or be decent at a bunch of things. Apply that to Jedi who have to spend decades to practice Force Healing so I can get behind why Anakin never had the time nor opportunity for it.
To be honest, Force Healing existed way back in Legends and was far more overused.

The joke with Anakin flipping out whenever he learns about his family is hilarious, but also says so much about who he is as a person, and on an even deeper level, it points to the core failing of the Jedi order at the time: that the majority of the conflict of Star Wars would have been avoided had Anakin's need for familial connection not been spurned by the Jedi. In short, it really is "how it should have ended" and I love that.

@@johnymustacio Yeah, things would've ended differently but even if Sidious's grooming of Anakin didn't work out, with him being so deeply entrenched in Republic politics while also secretly supporting the Trade Federation's separatist movement I wouldn't put it past him to simply look for another apprentice or just keep the war going long enough to exhaust both sides and whittle down the Jedi Order's numbers (takes years to train a Jedi Knight but battle droids come on an assembly line by the hundreds if not thousands on a daily basis), then he can simply use political manoeuvring to accomplish his goals anyway having already replaced most of the senate with his supporters. Anakin/Vader was important, but not so important that just by not turning to the Dark Side the entire war would have been averted.

Beautiful. There was so many things they could have pointed out in this show, like how those kidnappers should have been able to outrun baby Leia in like 3 steps instead of a 5 minute chase scene lol. I clicked on this hoping to see that, but this was definitely better.
Complaining to obi wan about how he has burns on him is oddly in character for Anakin.
Anakin got bacta healing on his burned body for years and yet he hasn't recovered.
Yet Obi-Wan got fixed up just fine.

Honestly I would say skip it. But if you find enjoyment out of it go ahead. It definitely has a lot of script problems
I mean...... yes. Probably. Honestly the biggest issue with the show, HISHE pointed out. If you ever watched the clone wars and/or rebels there were a lot of characters that weren't utilized the way they could of and literally the final fight with Obi Wan and Darth Vader was a copy and paste of Ashoka and Darth Vader but done worse.

This 4 minute clip was way better than the entire obi-wan show. Was hoping HISHE tackled this show and he delivered it perfectly tackling all the plot holes and non-sense of the show. Wish this was more longer. Hopefully we get an extra like Leia's running scenes.
I just finished playing Jedi: Fallen Order, and am utterly amazed how better told the story is during a similar time period to Obi-wan, in a VIDEO GAME. Really only one big plot hole surrounding the Jedi holocron.
