I remember watching the Bane vs Batman fight for the first time in the theater. It was dead silent, everyone was in disbelief to see Batman get his ass handed to him like that. Can't believe Nolan had the balls to do that, but it worked for the movie, and I'm sure as hell glad he did. Just a masterpiece of a trilogy.
+Evolve Slays It was the best part of that movie, which came off an amazing comic series. To me, the comic version was more brutal as Bane actually came out of the batcave and beat and broke batman in his own home.
+WinningProduction420 To go a lil bit further, this is how much of a crushing defeat this was for Batman. Bane had deduced the identity of the Caped Crusader a short while prior to this, and when the time was right, set out to end him. To accomplish this, the man arrives at Wayne Manor, either busts in or politely rings the bell, waiting for Alfred to answer and cracks his skull open. Then he stands and waits. To me, that was more gut wrenching than the fight. Bruce was already drained, looking to collapse and only after crawling up the Batcave stairs, looking to find a short spot of relief and much needed rest, finds his surrogate father lying, bleeding on the floor and then to add insult to injury hears the voice of Death, taunting him. Bane! The sanctity of his home violated was too much for Wayne to bear. Bane was here for a final confrontation. Bruce knew that there was no surviving this fight, he was ready to die at this moment, but he was going to give it his all. He wouldn't give Bane the satisfaction of an easy defeat. However, with the physical and mental exhaustion taking it's toll on the battered Dark Knight, his defensive prowess was depleted and his agility built up by years of physical perfection, was nothing to the steroid infused monster and the fight was over long before it began. Bane decided then, killing him would only end his pain, silence his shame and Batman must continue to suffer, so he broke his body, as he had already broken his spirit.
+Guy Gardner Wouldn't be hard to kick Batman's ass?...A guy who has mastered 127 martial arts and is more intelligent than 20 of you combined?.. yeah right
Zag Broo You've never read World War Hulk? The Illuminati send Hulk to a distant Planet, he;s pretty happy there, until his wife and unborn child are killed. What does he do, Comes back to earth to rip the illuminati apart 1 at a time. These are Mr. Fantastic (And the FF) Professor X (The X-Men fight Hulk and all lose) Dr Strange, Black Bolt, and Iron Man.
DryBones271 I don't know if the movies are actual in any way accurate, but didn't Bruce Banner (Mark Rufallo) say in The Avengers 1 that he shot himself (Bruce) in the head and Hulk spit the bullet out?
What's your point ? Bane as a character is anything but cheesy. Those "references" are usually for expository narration. You don't hear Bane going around spouting "I broke the bat! I broke the bat!" every other line of dialogue. The suicide squad comics barely even mention Batman.
So you are telling me that elektras death was more horrible and gut wrenching than spideys death after beating the sinister 6 while bleeding to death by a bullet wound?
Elektra's death was done back in the day when killing off major characters like that was rare to see. By the time Spider-Man died, though, it was pretty much a cliche to see heroes killed and brought back to life.
wait... spiderman DYING isn't on here?!? spider man died in the ultimate spiderman universe by saving captain america and getting shot through the heart with a gun!!!! Captain america didn't even help spider man afterwards, he just ditched him. I CRIED when that happened.
+Ares Go well actually, he tried to take the gun out of the snipers hand but he missed and since he was pretty much in mid air he wouldn't have been able to push him out of the way and his webs can't travel faster than sound so he wouldn't have been able to stop the bullet with his webs, so taking the bullet was the only realistic option. r.i.p spiderman... =(
ronfar81 I'm not a big DC fan man. You'd think they would at least do a quick google search for all of this. The channels a joke. Jacob Hall It's hard to miss one of the biggest events in Marvel comics..haha
Yuu-Mon Musuedo It was in the relaunch series made after Nick acquired the franchise. Bebop and Rocksteady were eventually introduced and were basically a deadlier version of Tohka and Razaar mixed with the Rhino from Spider-Man. Shortly after they were introduced, they managed to get the drop on Donatello and then smashed his shell open with a sledgehammer (which is where a turtle's organs are in real life). Through the magic of comic books, Donny was able to pull through.
"I want you to remember the *one* man who beat you." I`M ALWAYS ROOTING FOR BATMAN, but he said "One man" he furgot der was gren arruw And he would DEAD, If it wasn`t for that guy.
how are you going to start off the video saying you aren't going to show when a hero failed to save somebody, while showing joker killing Jason Todd. then proceed to start with daredevil failing to save Electra, then later the Jason Todd death.... wtf
flavio gjoni Dude there were LOTS of times when Batman would almost lose at the hands of a villain he's familiar with. He only doesn't lose because a friend or a sidekick comes to his aid at the last second over down cliche'. So Batman would probably lose the fight without Robin, Nightwing, Alfred, Bat Girl, or even Red Hood. These are just facts dude, also Moon Knight>Batman.
Alexander Coles He didn't come back to life and it's implied he's dead. If you want to read it yourself the issue of Moon Knight is called, "VENGEANCE OF THE MOON KNIGHT #7". mw3394 The whole fight with stage, dumbass. That was both of their plans, Batman has a heart attack hide from the public, while Superman looks good in the media. What kind of win is having a heart attack?
The Aquaman that you showed is from Justice League unlimited,in that episode Aquaman severed his own hand himself so that he could save his son,but no piranhas were involved.
WatchMojo.com Ummmm I would argue that your number one is invalid as it wasn't a defeat, it was a victory. Superman won. He stopped doomsday. End of story. Look at every other entry on this list, even the honourable mentions, in all of THOSE examples, the opponent walked away, Doomsday didn't. Superman killed him. The fact that Superman died as well is immaterial. Heroes are expected to sacrifice themselves to protect others, it's practically the DEFINITION of the word hero. Big time Fail WatchMojo.com big time fail.
kopitarrules A fair enough claim, considering every fight prior had the character lose, Thing lost to Hulk as an example. Superman would stop Doomsday at any cost and did. It would have been a defeat had Doomsday not died but hey, neither of them really did, greatest stalemate of all time?
Dasacht095 Yeah I can live with that definition. (Although I would still say that it is a victory as Supes achieved what he set out to do, stop Doomsday lol)
King FPS Moon Knight killed Deadpool once in the comics and Moon Knight is terrified of Bullseye. Whenever he see's Bullseye he runs in the other direction since Moon Knight's mantra is to let all bullets hit him and to NEVER BLOCK AN ATTACK. While Bullseye's mantra is he ALWAYS HITS HIS TARGET. Also, DeathLok is a much better assassin then Deadpool. I mean he's a time traveling, cyborg zombie for pete sake and yes he's a hero not a villain.
Does that mean Batman can kill Doomsday without himself dying only severely injured with Green Arrow's help, and Bane can break Doomsday and Superman's backs respectively but not killing them or getting himself killed? #DClogic
1.That wasn't green arrow that helped him during the fight, that was carrie Kelly. 2.It's not that unrealistic to believe batman could beat superman, I'm sure it wouldn't be that far fetched to assume him of paranoid and plan ahead of time to keep him in check. 3. And lastly, in a way neither of them really "won", it was just something that Bruce had planned to fake his death so he wouldn't be hunted down for the joker's death which he didn't cause.
BigDrew86 Doesn't matter how you win a fight, it matters who wins it, otherwise you could analyse most super hero fights and claim the odds weren't fair or whatever. Batman's plan worked, and Superman underestimated him by holding back, which was a mistake."If Superman won, then he'd only win because he was an alien, if he was human he would lose" lots of ifs, buts and how, it's the result that matters, Batman won.
BigDrew86 TDKR is not really canon anyways, since when the two fought in the Hush storyline Bats admitted he had no hope at defeating Supes (who was holding back) and in Luthor - Man of Steel Supes owns Bats. Not to say Bats can't win, if the Tower of Babel arc is any indication, he can theoretically hold his own against any JL member.
Opal Titan nope. i just dont give a fuck for the "human" that can tangle with Gods. anyone that thinks batman is the badass that bad writers make him out to be cant be a serious comic fan. you wanna talk fanboys, look in the mirror.
About that Captain America assassination - it wasn't just Crossbones but it was also Steve's (Cap A.) girlfriend Sharon Carter who shot 2 or 3 bullets to his stomach. (Crossbones only shot his neck)
Batman didnt beat Superman. He pretended to have a heart attack and Superman just left knowing full well that Batman was faking. Yes Batman gave Supes a bit of a beat down with the help of Robin and Green Arrow but it definitely wasnt a victory for Bruce.
SuperMicklovin so if I come and punch you in the face and knock you on your arse, then I pretend to have a heart attack and you just walk away. Does that mean I beat you?
to be honest the knightfall fight was done better in the comics... it was so unexpected and shocking, and to this day is in my opinion the greatest cliffhanger of all time
All of the Marvel villains defeating and destroying the Marvel heroes in the Old Man Logan storyline was brutal and heartbreaking. In particular, that flashback moment when Red Skull is standing over a broken and crying Captain America in front of a demolished White House is the most devastating defeat I've ever seen in a long time. i105.photobucket.com/albums/m229/mrquick44/OldManLogan3.jpg It was the ultimate nightmare scenario of evil triumphing over good and the stakes were real since the world went to shit right after it.
What Kingpin did to Daredevil after learning his secret identity, followed by what Daredevil did to Kingpin afterwards should be on this list. Also the mind game Daredevil did to Bullseye with the russian roulette game.
1. EVERY Comic Book Is Biased , But In Every Comic Book they've fought in Batman has beaten Superman. (From different writers. 2. Just face the fact BATMAN CAN BEAT SUPERMAN and anybody else because of his genius intellect , time/strategy and weapons. 3.Lastly only reason bane beat batman was because he was fighting other guys all night, tired & wasn't expecting him to be in his CAVE.
im sure he could have used the synthetic kryptonite in 100 different ways that all could have surprised superman lol hes batman thats what he does. he just chose to use ollie. i have no idea why... but he did
Saif Ahmed then again if superman really wanted to actually kill bats he can easily dropped a building on him or keep rapidly firing his heat vision till bats tire out even if he can dodge it
Crossbones wasn’t the one who shot Captain America in the stomach during the aftermath of Marvel’s first Civil War. Crossbones fired the first shot into Cap’s back, and while everyone was distracted during the confusion, Sharon Carter, Cap’s GF, shoots him in the stomach.
+Quayshawn Dameron I know man he wrecked Mr fantastic, Ironman, and Black Bolt so bad. The only one who stood a chance against Hulk were Doctor Strange (briefly) and of course Sentry
+connor mulholland after the Civil War comic, the comic which he died in, Marvel came out with new Avengers comics. They were completely different series, and in the series all of the Avengers were alive. However, all of the Avengers die in three different alternatives and frankly I'm surprised that wasn't on the list.
It should have been Batman beats superman. Till this day. When you think of Doomsday and superman you don't think of superman dying. It happened once and you know that the writers wont dare to do it again. But when you think of Batman beating superman, superman fans are still in denial. They say it wasn't canon, or they come up with ten ways superman can kill Batman. When you come up with 100 ways Batman can kill superman they get angry and go back into their world of denial. They fear Batman so much they hate him. Clearly it made a bigger impact on superman fans then when doomsday beat him.
+Fat Mann The Dark Knight Returns is an Elseworlds story meaning it's a world where anything goes and nothing is canon. It's basically a "What if..?" Story. And this "What if...?" Batman has a fight with Superman and manages to "beat" him. It doesn't change the fact that the regular DC Batman has never even come close to matching it, nor does it make this fight valid for debate. It's like if you got in a debate and brought up Supermans mind-wiping kiss powers from Superman II. Sure, A Superman did that, but not THE canon Superman.
DramaHateNation no, I am not an idiot! .. . . . . . I am what not the internet needs....... . . . . . . But what it deserves! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I am ..... Hamdan! 🐪😂
I Would say that batman definitely beats superman.. But Superman also was holding back, and didn't even attack him. And was more concerned with trying to convince his best friend to stop making a "Bad" choice.. Batman beat him because the story needed him too and people wanted to see batman beat superman, because 99% of the time superman just breaks him in half in a real fight.. No one wants to see superman beat batman cause, who wants to see the obvious/easy outcome?
+Geovonni Hernandez Agreed. When superman is fighting for real one of his first moves on the next fight is to take it up into orbit. If he had done that to batman he would of burnt to a crisp leaving earths atmosphere. If by some miracle he survived that there is no air/heat in space and he would quickly die up there
Deadpool, in one of his comics, he discovers his girlfriend's dead body and also has the knowledge that she and their nine year old daughter, whom he had never met, is dead and he had to be dragged away by Wolverine and Captain America.
Silence nerds!!!! This is defeats. Not deaths. It's right there in the title. Without Batman Green Arrow has no arrow. Superman's defeat was all Batman. Also it didn't say defeats that are in canon. Superman only lost to Doomsday for 1 reason. He spent to much time trying to subdue him instead of killing him. Once he commits it only takes him a few minuets to kill it. Batman losing to Bane was more significant than losing to Slade since it was in Slades comic. Though i feel bane cheated by not fighting a full health Batman.
+surfitlive So you are saying a defeat can' t end in a death? I just want to be clear in what you're saying. So I can say you are wrong. Typically when dying from the fight it means you lost. The two go together.
Still missing the point. So Ill say again. A defeat can lead to a death. Did everyone who died lose the fight? Yes they did. So that means that a death after a fight equals a defeat. Stop trying to be literal. The list has a mix of both but even the characters who died lost the fight. People spend way to much the nitpicking the semantics. Defeat can be a death aftet a fight but a comic book death doesnt always come after a fight. What part are you missing?
Something Something yeah but thats the nice thing with Infinity War being two parts, you can end the first part off with a HUGE death count, Cap, Thor maybe, Hawkeye, and then have them all be brought back with the time gem
LMAO at people who think Batman could actually beat superman. Superman has said it before "If i wanted it, you'd be dead by now" Superman could have easily killed batman within a few seconds but decided to hold back and just beat him so he could talk some sense into Bruce.
Kinda hard to defeat a man who can use heat vision from orbit and turn you into ashes in an instant. When a man can kill you by either looking at you or breathing on you, it's a little one sided :)
I'm going to assume you're on medication and not in full control of your mental faculties. Bats could totally kill Superman should he choose to. It would be one hell of a fight, though.
Freddy Krueger could beat Superman by taking advantage of all of his weaknesses. or he could kill every single one of Superman's family and friends in their dreams.
I'm not a superman man fan at all but the idea of any human beating superman is an absolute joke. Bring in the kryptonite, the only way any human is beating superman is by using it and it's what destroys all the movies, the overuse of Kryptonite. When the DC and Marvel fans argue over the Superman vs Hulk fight, should we assume that because Batman beat superman that he could defeat the hulk as well or what about doomsday? Of course not, an intelligent human with some gadgets and body armor is broken by Bane and he'd be killed in seconds against any of the other three. Listening to Batman fans argue this point is always entertaining.
noobslayeru Sorry to say but I am getting tired of this "This isn't cannon" because he defeated him. You can beat him with brute force or you can show him what it feels like to kill an innocent human, He broke his spirit and showed him "This is what the government wants, we were the order they want to have and YOU are their puppet, I am not"
Wtf are you talking about, there's like 7 comics about that fight, just different artists but the same story, just because it got turned into an animated fight LIKE THE FUCKING FANS WANTED.. Doesn't mean it's non-canon, it just cements itself into the universe even further, that's like saying every goku vs vegeta fight isn't canon cause goku got his ass whooped (even though he wasn't trying)
Canon means it is in the main universe everything non canon is jst for writers to do silly stupid or fan fiction things like superman was batman in a non canon comic where he had all his powers but dressed like batman and was adopted by the Wayne's or like batman and superman being gay and a couple or squirrel girl whos only power is controlling squirrels beats galactus and thanos or deadpool kills the marvel universe or wolverine kills the marvel universe or punisher kills the marvel universe so if something is not canon it really doesn't matter and shouldn't be taken serious
When it comes to superhero stuff there does not really seem to be anything called canon because the comics get rebooted or changed often and all the TV shows and most of the movies are different versions of the characters and even the storys in the comics seems to be different versions often so there does not really seem to be a main version or a main story with superheros.
No, superman didn't get defeated, Superman says "Martha, save Martha" just then Batman finds out that both of their mothers have the same name so they both teamed up to stop Lex Luthor before he could create doomsday but they first saved super mans mother then was to late and Doomsday was created but then they teamed up with wonder women to defeat doomsday but superman had to sacrifice himself to save the world by taking batmans kryptonite spear and stabs doomsday while being trapped with doomsday in his explosion which kills doomsday and superman
batman has never beaten superman what the fuck is everyone talking about? oh right dark night returns...what about the hundreds of other comics that are canon where superman destroys batman?
Kieran Crocker but batman has beaten superman before, that's what they're saying and it's true. You're also forgetting the comic books: Hush, The Dark Night Strikes Again, Superman: Red Son, and Endgame where Batman defeats Superman.
How's about a SVTFOE fanfic where Marco has his arm broken and then amputated at hospital after a battle against monsters with Star. He gets a prosthetic arm to replace his original one. Describe his and Stars adventures after that in a fanfic

Still waiting for Hulk vs Wolverine :/
Never wanted to see a fight like that on the Big screen so bad!

Pretty Much Hulk Vs Anyone, Hulk gonna win. Only way to kill the Hulk, is to kill Bruce Banner.
DryBones271 I don't know if the movies are actual in any way accurate, but didn't Bruce Banner (Mark Rufallo) say in The Avengers 1 that he shot himself (Bruce) in the head and Hulk spit the bullet out?

Banes line should've been " I wondered what would break first. Your spirit or... your spine"
Alec East Cheesy as hell.

Superman v doomsday #1 calling it
More reasonable fight
Call me Bats That was more of a double KO tho, not an actual defeat, just a pyrrhic victory.
Bane v Batman,I'm calling it.
***** or the way i see it plus your logic: a pyrrhic victory for doomsday..
Call me Bats king key VS the anti hero calling it
I bet daredevil didn't see that coming
+Rongod. bruh
Ur a bad person
No... NO.
I "see" what you did there ;)'
Ha!
wait... spiderman DYING isn't on here?!? spider man died in the ultimate spiderman universe by saving captain america and getting shot through the heart with a gun!!!! Captain america didn't even help spider man afterwards, he just ditched him. I CRIED when that happened.

Comic Book or...
The bullet didnt hit spiderman in the heart
I started crying when the flash ran to death around the anti monitor
Did ye do research for this? Crossbones doesn't kill Cap, Sharon Carter does
Jamie Quirke THANK YOU. Someone else noticed.
Jamie Quirke They also said doomsday and Superman killed each other, but Doomsday was only knocked out.
ronfar81 And Superman was in a healing coma, he didn't exactly die.
ronfar81 I'm not a big DC fan man. You'd think they would at least do a quick google search for all of this. The channels a joke.
Jacob Hall It's hard to miss one of the biggest events in Marvel comics..haha
ronfar81 Doomsday did die though. His power is to become immune to whatever killed him, so as a result he can't be killed by brute force again.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Back up! "Donatello is apparently killed by Rocksteady and Bebop"!?
Dude! I got to get into the comics of that!
Yuu-Mon Musuedo It was in the relaunch series made after Nick acquired the franchise. Shortly after they were introduced, they managed to get the drop on Donatello and then smashed his shell open with a sledgehammer (which is where a turtle's organs are in real life). Hkghfg

LikIfUCriEvrytim Robin was also there you can just imagine Green Arrow going " Then what the hell did I just do jerk "
I think it was said that way because it was Batman's plan to use the kryptonite arrow. Green Arrow was just an aid.
I guess.
But 3 Normal people took down the most op superhero ever.
WOW.
Raul Gofuckyourself Batmans entire plan revolved around Superman holding back so that he wouldn't hurt him before all the pieces fell into place.
Ravinux Superman just came back from being nuked, plus he was holding back.
how are you going to start off the video saying you aren't going to show when a hero failed to save somebody, while showing joker killing Jason Todd. then proceed to start with daredevil failing to save Electra, then later the Jason Todd death.... wtf
You have to remember that WatchMojo is the worst fucking channel on RUclips for making logical lists. They're content is fucking gross
Superheroes might be worth getting into if they weren't invincible.
Superman Prime 1Mis probably the only outrageously OP superhero. Goku and co. Are OP too.
Dylan Seaton Goku isn't a super hero.
Cuboekin Ya he is. He's the spitting image of super hero.
Dylan Seaton He's an anime character. Written in Japan.
Dylan Seaton Goku's not a super hero, he's a Super Sayain.
loved the video, but the way you said Aquaman made me laugh.
It was't directly, but Gwen's death was one of the biggest defeats of all comic book history.
That was actually funny, "Magneto rips out Wolverine's skeleton, ripping him into pieces. Obviously he survived...." -Watchmojo 2015
squirrel girl against literally anybody.
+Lance Mausser yeah a person that rivals superman in power with no weaknesses, theres a reason its not exactly canon
Well squirrel girl is not invincible
I think her suit should get an upgrade
If you give Batman enough time he could probably beat Goku too.
*Grabs popcorn*
He would even allow Goku to use the Dragon Balls, and Batman would still win, because...
***** You're probably right; especially if Frank Miller writes it... anyway I look forward to the ensuing shit-storm of fanboyism

Batman didn't beat Superman.
Batman faked his death and Superman let him go.
He was in every position able to kill super man if you watch batman: the dark knight returns part 2 you will know what I mean

Batman didn't

Should be "Batman AND Green Arrow defeat Superman"
soberchimera61 no, batman and A arrow with kyrponite defeat superman.
Considering green arrow did nothing else.
Green Arrow shot the arrow, that's like saying a power suit defeated Superman and not Batman.
soberchimera61 I know, but thats literally the only thing he did.
Also what about Robin?
Robin just distracted him and didn't do any damage, Green Arrow and Batman dealth the final blow.
soberchimera61 And Robin, she actually helps at the begin of the fight.
Batman got his back broken by Bane! Well Nightwing break Bane's BACK!! Talking about Karma right there

kopitarrules A fair enough claim, considering every fight prior had the character lose, Thing lost to Hulk as an example. Superman would stop Doomsday at any cost and did. It would have been a defeat had Doomsday not died but hey, neither of them really did, greatest stalemate of all time?
Dasacht095
Yeah I can live with that definition. (Although I would still say that it is a victory as Supes achieved what he set out to do, stop Doomsday lol)
Did they just say Bullseye is the best assassin in the marvel universe? *ahem* Deadpool *ahem*
Agreed. Maybe they didn't include deadpool because he is a "hero"?
Antihero*
Solomid Jaximus that's why it was in quotes .-.
RamsTheNameCom
How about Batman's defeat against Deathstroke?
Bulleye Butch Absolutely yes!
+Deathstroke 06 (LaxusDF) and Bane
Supes was holding back the entire time and then when Batman wussed out from ending Supes, he had to fake a heart attack
It wasn't crossbones but Sharon Carter who killed cap.
Does that mean Batman can kill Doomsday without himself dying only severely injured with Green Arrow's help, and Bane can break Doomsday and Superman's backs respectively but not killing them or getting himself killed? #DClogic
It was non canon so no batman cant
1.That wasn't green arrow that helped him during the fight, that was carrie Kelly.
2.It's not that unrealistic to believe batman could beat superman, I'm sure it wouldn't be that far fetched to assume him of paranoid and plan ahead of time to keep him in check.
3. And lastly, in a way neither of them really "won", it was just something that Bruce had planned to fake his death so he wouldn't be hunted down for the joker's death which he didn't cause.
Way to false equivlency, just because
A can beat B and
B can beat C
does not mean A can beat C
ELECTRICFROST nice to think about the fact batman recently defeated the JLA
I'm sorry, green arrow DID help in the fight as well, always thought that was carrie Kelly but no she was just in the tank, never mind.
Every batman fan seems to leave out that Superman held back in that fight and he had help from Green Arrow SMFH!!!
Batman won because he was prepared and he was smarter
Dude Superman didn't go 100% against Bats plus Bats had help and he faked his death....??
BigDrew86 excuses. a loss is a loss. superman holding back is still stronger than an average human
This proves that a popular super hero will never die, they will just get resurrected by fans
You put in Wolverine but not Professor X's death?! That was so heartbreaking for me to read holy shit how could you not even mention it
wish they made batmans back scene more Graphic like a louder Snap
Batman single-handedly took on Darkseids forces and won. batman is just pure badassery
+Muhammed Kasim nope. the writers just love milking the cash cow.
+CthulhuChow i smell superman fanboy.
Opal Titan
nope. i just dont give a fuck for the "human" that can tangle with Gods. anyone that thinks batman is the badass that bad writers make him out to be cant be a serious comic fan. you wanna talk fanboys, look in the mirror.
+CthulhuChow Doesn't matter. It happened. Deal with it.
MovieMan Ryan Yes it was. He beat him,if the kryptonite dose was higher he would have killed him right there. He was completely at his mercy.
SuperMicklovin so if I come and punch you in the face and knock you on your arse, then I pretend to have a heart attack and you just walk away. Does that mean I beat you?
Because this entire battle had superman simply knocked to the ground and not completely at the mercy of Batman right ?
Are you high? Batman was.on the back foot the entire time until green arrow got involved. I think you need to go back and read the comic again
I love superman more than batman but batman and green arrow did win the battle but superman would've beaten batman simply if he didn't let batman go
to be honest the knightfall fight was done better in the comics... it was so unexpected and shocking, and to this day is in my opinion the greatest cliffhanger of all time
2:00 "Never say never" not made popular by Bieber
The Justice League Aquaman losing his hand in a more badass fashion than his comic book counterpart.
Goku vs Superman
Superman
DBZ fanboys will cry.
Goku never lost to superman. Fan battles don't count
.... Tears of joy while superman fans cry and try to correct them but fail
HYDRO-TEARS.
Doomsday doesn't kill superman, he just puts him in a healing coma.
#Batman 😍😍😍
"I want you to Remember the one man who beat you"
Lol. Funny how Superman went easy on him the whole fight.
how come the morlun vs spiderman is not on the list
This should be called, another top 10 superhero deaths
Bullshit. Not all mentioned in this list died from the defeats.
At least watch the video before you comment.
Yung Tezzy 🎈 You're assbackwards with that mate. Batman's lost to Superman everytime they've fought excluding dark knight returns.
Please tell me in what comic book.
Alex Ross's Justice. Pre Ic where he leaves him in crit condition. Hush where he was starting to win etc.
The only one superman has beaten batman is in sacrifice , so my fault he has won on 1 occasion, yet batman has won 90% of the times they went at it.
When ? name a full on 1v1 confrontation where Batman beats him aside from dark knight returns.
actually its more green arrow and batman beating superman
im sure he could have used the synthetic kryptonite in 100 different ways that all could have surprised superman lol hes batman thats what he does. he just chose to use ollie. i have no idea why... but he did
Saif Ahmed then again if superman really wanted to actually kill bats he can easily dropped a building on him or keep rapidly firing his heat vision till bats tire out even if he can dodge it
+Saif Ahmed because Superman ripped Ollie's hand to save him from a bomb but the archer wanted revenge
Did you forget Batman v Superman? the one that doesnt have Green Arrow
He could have killed him right then and there on the spot.
I hope that Bullseye will be in Marvel's Daredevil season 3
Zack Synder completely destroying Superman's character is the greatest superhero loss ever IMO
#5 should be #1
Barry Allen's death? He stayed dead for 23 years, much longer than superman!
Jason Todd was my worst that hurt my life but got red hood out of it and that man is bad ass
Crossbones wasn’t the one who shot Captain America in the stomach during the aftermath of Marvel’s first Civil War. Crossbones fired the first shot into Cap’s back, and while everyone was distracted during the confusion, Sharon Carter, Cap’s GF, shoots him in the stomach.
hulk defeating every hero on earth and the moon is the worse ass whooping ever dished out worldbreaker for the win
+Quayshawn Dameron I know man he wrecked Mr fantastic, Ironman, and Black Bolt so bad. The only one who stood a chance against Hulk were Doctor Strange (briefly) and of course Sentry
You know when they were talking about Crossbones killing Captain America, what did he mean he sort of killed him?
+Gipsy Eureka spiderman defeated hulk...
+connor mulholland after the Civil War comic, the comic which he died in, Marvel came out with new Avengers comics. They were completely different series, and in the series all of the Avengers were alive. However, all of the Avengers die in three different alternatives and frankly I'm surprised that wasn't on the list.
+Someone RandomBeingNormal I know for a fact Deadpool did. I don't know spiderman ever did.
Except it isn't canon. There has never been a canon fight where Batman undeniably beat Superman. It's not us being fanboys, it's just a bloody fact
Batman beat Superman. It's a bloody fact. The fans saw it and they love it. Stop your belly aching.
I knew that would get you going. It always does.
+Fat Mann Get me going? You consider ^ that "going"? You are one easily satisfied troll if that's all you need to get off XD
bulleyes best mercenary?
The Joker shooting and paralyzing Barbara Gordon (even if he wasn't aware that she was Batgirl) should've been a honorable mention.

+Hamdan Alharbi even though I don't get it, I'll still say LOL
I heard that Taskmaster defeated Thor once, is this true?
i think that superman revives when hes heading towards the sun when they did him a funeral, well i herd that from some guys
finally you make a list that I like
How about Tony Stark vs Alcohol? XD
When you're SO glad the MCU changed the storyline of Civil War
Ehhhh, the Civil War in MCU was kindergarten compared to the comics. It's much more on a wider scale.
If by some miracle he survived that there is no air/heat in space and he would quickly die up there
When king Connor lost to the peasant Nate Diaz
Jason Todd is still alive
Everybody knows
Or has to know
Not everyone is a nerd like you to know that.
Nerd? In the video they always comeback when they die
Well not always sometimes
Batman cant be beaten! Right?
ThePelefant Tell that to Bane.
ThePelefant Tell that to Superman,Bane,Joker,Lex Luthor,Darkseid,Superman again and Deathstroke.
ThePelefant Keep calm, I'm Batman
He always comes up with something
King Ursaring You forgot Wonder Woman.
I'm so glad that they put Donnie (apparently) killed by Bebop and Rockstedy on honorable mentions
what about deadpool kills everyone?
The same thing happens to superman and doomsday in batman v superman dawn of justice
Bullseye is not the best assassin it's deadpool
+Austin Yeo *Death Stroke
+Austin Yeo task master
Deadpool is mercenary.
Deadpool is love, Deadpool is life
No the punish is
Deadpool, in one of his comics, he discovers his girlfriend's dead body and also has the knowledge that she and their nine year old daughter, whom he had never met, is dead and he had to be dragged away by Wolverine and Captain America.
Arkham Knight is Jason Todd
Yes
DEFxRECON DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE.

Pie 35 The. Game.
***** Love you too, boo bear
flash from the other world "zoom" defeating flash !
That was brutal too !
+corey vire don't forget that Supes also ate a nuke before fighting Batdude
+corey vire I would love to like this comment more than once, but alas, I cannot. v-v
surfitlive A defeat can lead to a death. So no, the list isnt a fail at all.
I guess they only referenced the comics, but Iron Man being defeated in Civil War was pretty insane and sad
O my fucking god WatchMojo 3:00 are these spoilers for Captain America Civil Wars... NOT COOL, NOT COOL...
J Mack Come on! that has been well known from years now.
plus it's not like they can kill him off before Infinity War anyway, so it wont be like Captain America 3 is spoiled
Lol!
Light King in a weird way, I kinda want them to kill him off, I love Captain America but that's what would make it more emotional, ya know?
Something Something yeah but thats the nice thing with Infinity War being two parts, you can end the first part off with a HUGE death count, Cap, Thor maybe, Hawkeye, and then have them all be brought back with the time gem
Was it really a "defeat" for superman?
Not only did he killed Doomsday, superman comes back from the DEAD.
Yeah it counts because it was in that fight that someone actually got him to die.
+Peshkhfojah The Dream Demon Mr Leaps A Building In A Single Bound would grovel at Freddy's feet!! I love it...
If batman has time to prepare for a fight with superman, superman cannot win, that's just how the comics has it. Don't be angry
Mysterio killing the X-men through Logan was awesome!
Batman vs superman fight was non-canon.
noobslayeru Sorry to say but I am getting tired of this "This isn't cannon" because he defeated him.
You can beat him with brute force or you can show him what it feels like to kill an innocent human, He broke his spirit and showed him "This is what the government wants, we were the order they want to have and YOU are their puppet, I am not"
noobslayeru very obvious that comic was written by a batman supporter
Batman didnt defeat superman.. batman, green arrow, the military and a nuclear explosion defeated superman.
Batman had to prepare and stuff, while superman didn't want to kill him, if he wanted to he could fly with superspeed and rip batman's head off
Superman didn't had time for batman's childish nuisance
superman lost get over it batman's brain will always overcome superman
@Booker T You're so full of shit. Superman would kill him in the blink of an eye. Get over it
They FREAKING voted for Jason to die!!! That's their fault
many people forgets this atrocity lol
Batman didn't beat superman he just knocked him on his feat and fakes his death
+romo rob He knocked him down therefore he won. They don't have to kill each other to determine who'll win
but superman wasnt finished he still had plenty fight in him.
+romo rob He could off killed him but he chose not too
+Bob Smith how was he gonna kill him?
+romo rob Because kryptonite can poison superman fatally. Batman chose a compound mixture of Kr that wouldn't kill Clark.
The way he says Aqua Man bothers me so much
Eqwa Man
Cap's daeth should be at #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
who is cap infront of superman
Almost forgot, in the same Crisis, the DEATH of Supergirl, giving us one of the most iconic covers!
The death of Gwen Stacy anybody? Pretty big loss for Spider-man lol
Batman can NEVER beat Superman!!!
+Jason Huffman Batman just beat Superman because Batman had an armor with Kryptonite.
+Shana Ann Cuison still a win
but he did...so?
batman has never beaten superman what the fuck is everyone talking about? oh right dark night returns...what about the hundreds of other comics that are canon where superman destroys batman?
Kieran Crocker but batman has beaten superman before, that's what they're saying and it's true. You're also forgetting the comic books: Hush, The Dark Night Strikes Again, Superman: Red Son, and Endgame where Batman defeats Superman.
Death of gwen Stacy
Lol
yes yes its missing the death of Gwen Stacy
"Clark, this is between you and me." Gets Green Arrow to fire a kryptonite arrow. Whatever works, I guess
A defeat you could have put on the list: Eggman whacking Sonic with his robotic armor (Archie Comics).
Are we just going to ignore the ending of Endgame when Batman and The Joker were buried alive in a collapsed cave? Yeah? Okay.
I damn near cried when Spiderman was defeated by Morlun, and I'll NEVER forget the Death Of Superman
As a Villainous fan I love it when villains wins!
How's about a SVTFOE fanfic where Marco has his arm broken and then amputated at hospital after a battle against monsters with Star. He gets a prosthetic arm to replace his original one. Describe his and Stars adventures after that in a fanfic
I am surprised that they did not mention Thanos difeating the avengers.
