Can't see me ever using this. It'd drive my OCD crazy. Seems like it's a lot easier to build a proper greenhouse that is powered and watered and then just manually harvest and seed them. Thanks for saving me the time in having to check them out ;-)
@@Fortizar I think the thing that is missing from this working well are fields. If you could set up a field with rows of crops and then use the mount and cart to seed, water and harvest the fields it would look and work nicely
Nice preview. Thanks for taking the time to show us all the new stuff. But to be honest, I wish the devs would spend more time on creating more operations/missions instead of all these farming and other chores (ie: repairing wind turbines). I mean the only thing farming is good for is making food that can buff us and feeding our animals, I don't find a great need to farm a whole field, so I can stockpile a lot of veggies. What's the point? I've played on every map in open world mode and created bases and done most of the missions. I have stockpile tons of materials and can build anything I want, but what's the point now? There's no objective, no challenges left. Every update now just seems to add more chores instead of objectives that make the time we spend in Icarus worthwhile. At least for me, it's time to move on. When they add the rest of the map for Prometheus, maybe I'll boot up Icarus again to take a look. But again, thanks for all the great updates you are doing for Icarus.
Curious if the harvest cart will pick up wild fruit. Thinking of using that cart when i go out hunting and letting it pick up random veggies as i walk around.
If you switch exclusively to outdoor cart farming (which seems to only give one harvest per seed), do you get back enough seeds to go indefinitely or do you need to supplement with other seed sources?
I like the idea of the planting/harvesting, but if I can't get nice straight lines it will drive my OCD to the red and I will just go back to the planters. The skills for the mounts I will definitively use!
wondering what happen when animal dies, are the skills points transferable or do you have to build back up with new mounts, also is there a max skill points for the tree just like prospector
Is there a harvest yield increase on the harvesting cart? If I recall if done with the scythe you'd get bonus. I could be mistaking that for nightingale but pretty sure icarus had that mechanic.
@@Fortizar wheat would be my first choice, it would be nice if there was like a indoor pantry type greenhouse thing ya like a cold shortage cellar room or device where plants, veggies and such would not spoil or really slowed spoilage beside making 6 freezers to hold it all like just few generations ago people used to bury stuff in sand in cold room and shit would last for months and months

I believe you get back more than you put in (testing with tomatoes)

I would assume you would have to re level a mount back up as the talents are based on the level nothing else.
