sticks seem to be most efficent for making biofuel, just chop a few trees then rip them apart for sticks, I think its 100 sap and 500 sticks to fill 1 biofuel can if I remember correctly
Bugs and poor design in this game are killing it. The "stuck on the ladder" thing, where it sometimes works and allows you to proceed and sometimes drops you to the ground on your ass, the animals getting stuck on every. single. rock., etc.
After so many time spent in game, you didn't learn stamina is more important than health, especially when you play on easy difficulty judging by critters lvl between 3-25.... and all are dead from one stealth arrow/shot.
It’s not you. Part of it is the poor optimization with this game but the bigger part (I think) is the fact that I’m running the game on a 1070ti video card. One day I’ll be able to afford better hardware but today is not that day!
@@zaistarsgamingandfun Other players on RUclips with high-end rigs are having similar issues. I don't have the game, so I can't test to confirm, but it seems to be more CPU overburden than GPU. Trying to run the game as a server/host and running the game/client at the same time.
@@zaistarsgamingandfun Which is the worst thing they could have done. I have NO desire to restart my gear construction and base every single time I take up a new mission. I can't stand that.
@@numbr17 Yea, it is a bit of a pain. There are workshop items that you can get after farming the various currencies that make the whole process much more bearable.
@@numbr17. Yeah, it really should be the opposite. Makes sense to build up your home base to then go run missions from. I could see going up to station to drop into missions then return to home base later…. They’ve got it backwards. Of course the original premise of dropping down from space tech with absolutely no tech in hand doesn’t make sense… but that’s the whole point, lol.
The bone is the "real prize?" Yikes. And you don't get exotics because it's Open world? Lame. I'm not so happy with Open World mode after having put a hundred or so hours in. It's just lacking SO much of the things that you're allowed to do and craft in the classic missions, but the classic missions suck because of the CONSTANT restarting of your gear and base... Icarus is an odd one. If they just made an Open World mode that allowed you to do everything you can do in the classic missions, it would be nearly perfect.
It would be nice to be able to do the various missions from an open world perspective. They could even make the modes mutually exclusive to make things really interesting.

man, that mission destroyed me the first time I tried it. It can be brutal..lol

Could be the area you are in maybe? The Kia bird shows up in Styx and the demon-hate birds (not their real name) are in Prometheus.

@@FreakyFerret it is a CPU constraint. You want clock speed on the CPU above everything hell memory and GPU usage is minimal in comparison.
So do you only get one exotic from doing that mission?
You don’t get any exotics when doing this on Open World, only an enzyme. At this point, the exotics are only for session based prospects.

Icarus is an odd one. If they just made an Open World mode that allowed you to do everything you can do in the classic missions, it would be nearly perfect.

This will be fixed with the Hypatia update coming in the next month or two.
Play outpost if you cant do the event without gimmicking and abusing poor mechanics.
