I chuck everything in the blender, varying consistency by time immersed in the whirling blades. It's easy to eat, no utensils needed and no more broken teeth (important as one gets older). Height can be added by going from a bowl to an oversized cup to even a Tom Collins glass for special occasions! Great series, subscribed!
To all the weirdos here that say presentation doesn't matter... try it. I've been doing this for a while, and it makes people happy. Invite some friends over and serve them spaghetti looking a bit fancy and watch their faces light up. Presentation certainly matters. You can also apply this to your relationship. Try getting a different haircut. Spruce up the way you dress, and you just may make your relationship more interesting and/or better.
My mother has never bothered with presentation. She’d just put the pots on the dining table, then plop each ingredient on our plates. I was happy every time. I personally don’t think presentation really matters too much for the average person, especially if it’s home cooking.
There's a time a place for everything, I eat family-style like you mentioned at least 2 times a week. Like I said you can use this as a tool to get inspired (if you're not feeling inspired) about cooking a meal that you've cooked potentially 100's of times before.
"In some mouthfuls you'll get loads of sauce and in others you'll get a fork full of dry pasta" who doesn't mix their pasta in the sauce before eating it??
Presentation is an important part of cooking. and it doesn’t take long to do. It shows you care for the diners. Only slobs would not care about presentation.
I'm totally loving it! It just instantly elevates the plates, and it's super easy to pull off. Can we get a part 2 with more plating options for those everyday not-so-glam dishes?
Sir I would like my food to taste different not look different. idk maybe im in the minority. But like i've already taken so much time to cook, i dont wanna take more time to make it look good when i'm gonna eat it. Presentation is good for other people but for yourself its like making your bed and then sleeping in it.
A lot of these points in this video will also improve how the food tastes as well the textures and the overall eating experience. Take the pasta dish in this video for example, the ingredients are identical. The major difference is mixing it with the sauce and twisting it onto the plate with some tongs, it takes no more time, and it actually uses less utensils (so less washing up). For me this is more about changing the default way of thinking of how the food is put on the plate, it takes no more time, work or effort.
my personal opinion is that the way food is presented is entirely, completely irrelevant to its enjoyment and the overall satisfaction you get out of eating it. are you satisfied when you put a bite of it into your mouth? then it’s good food. are you not? then it’s bad food. no presentation hack in the world makes a difference in whether I categorize a particular food/meal “good” or “bad”. food is equal parts taste, texture, and mouthfeel, presentation matters exactly 0%, at least for me. then again I’m also a pretty boring person who loves routine, so other people probably have different opinions about this.

Another really good video, can genuinely see myself implementing some of these

Great life lesson, man. We can apply this even to our relationships. Thank you.
Pleasure!

You've really never been to a good restaurant have you?
