I absolutely love this deck & have played similar decks for quite some time since I started playing with a “Pure Zoodiac”deck, far before Duel Masters on PC, I’ve always loved the engine and all the different configurations possible! I just have one small issue… it feels as if there’s not enough strong monsters even though there are extremely strong cards in general.. I feel as though the deck needs some more monsters maybe..? just a tip to extend your first combo So you put ramram into the grave with blade effect and draw one. Then go into hammerkong. Then chakanine. Activate its effect. Detach Kong and special summon ramram from grave. Then, go into drident from chaka. Detach chaka and destroy your own ramram. This let's you bring chaka back as it's own seperate xyz. Then tigermortar from drident. Use its effect to detach drident to re attch ramram in the grave to your chaka. Then once again, use chaka to send ramram to grave and get drident out. Now you have 3 xyz on field turn 1. Then chaka and tiger into utopic future and then future into future draco. You end your turn with a drident and future draco with 3 negates. And if you have a whip tail. You can immediately attach that to drident for another quick pop. so this is a bot harder of a combo to learn but once you get it it works really well especially if u open with thoroughblads,ramram,and whip ...not my combo got it from discord
That's a really good tip! I never thought of that. However, when ressurecting Drident so your line up is Tigermortar, Chakanine and Drident, the Drident's effects are negated and it can't be used as a tribute for Xyz summoning for the rest of the turn. I think it's a bit dangerous strat as your Drident has no way of defending itself, but it can definitely be of use if you have board control and can make sure it won't get killed in the following turn by the opponent! Also it limits your Drident to only being able of having 4 Xyz materials attached (Tigermortar, Boarbow, Hammerkong and Chakanine) + Drident itself = 5 Xyz materials that will be transferred to Sky Thunder. So unless you have a Zoodiac Whiptail to attach, you can only use the quick effect of Sky Thunder twice before running out of Xyz materials to detach. But I'm sure you can pull off some nasty plays with your combo idea!

You should be playing pank and small world. You can search any zoo, pank or even maxx c. Also if you need more small world bridges you can use flying c, it also wins the mirror.
Stepping into yu gi oh from other tcgs has proven a challenge, im only days in and luckly I was smart with my gems and got all the cards for this deck. I picked zoo because of the name. I’m having more fun playing solitaire then I ever thought I’d have
That's great to hear man! I thought of uninstalling my game itself when I was only a few hours in, because I expected a fun classic Yu-Gi-Oh-style game, but getting nuked in 2 or 3 turns by the other meta decks didn't allow for such an experience. Luckily, this deck is what kept me hooked on the game.

I just went and found all the cards by scrolling through card type plus rarity hoping to find the cards to see what they all do.
Desires is useful for going first strategies, but I hate running it in my going second Zoodiac deck, since my starter hand should be 1 or 2 zoodiacs + 3 or 4 interactions, Desires would be useless

a week ago i hit platinum from rookie 2 with 78% WR just playing this deck, then I update my gameplay with tribrigade zoodiac cause a lot of plat 1 on ladder XD
Hey I run zoodiac as well but I'll admit I'm a very new player but I have gotten to Plat 4 playing just zoo.. question tho.. in the segment where u go 2nd and u discard the whitetail for the free plus 1.. since it is in fact whiptail, would it not make more sense to leave it in the hand so u can attach for the boarbow poke to get opponent to 5100 instead of 6300? Trying to think of what would be more worth it.. having that extra attach for your Zeus plus 1200 more dmg vs the CHANCE of drawing like ash or something else.. but with the draw being a chance at pulling something worth it I'm curious if you'd change what u did there..thanks
For the sake of the video I primarily did it to showcase the effect of Zoodiac Thoroughblade. However, it's a very good point you're making considering the extra poke damage, and it should definitely be considered. Normally I don't worry too much about extra poke damage, as in most cases you will have monsters on the field with 2.5K - 3K attack power, ending the match in 2-3 turns (if you're able to pull off the direct damage). It's a bit of a gamble, as you could draw a clutch card that as you mentioned, but at the same time, you could draw a card that you won't be needing at the time being, potentially discarding your Whiptail for no reason.
I've spent 5k in the Zoodiac pack, trying to make TriZoo, haven't got a single Throroughblade (save for the one I crafted). Also, what are the cards in the Ex? Some don't look familiar.
@@vainklutz3179 Well I just crafted one to unlock the Zoo box. Wish I was able to pull 2 more so I can play pure Zoo as well. Heard the upcoming event is XYZ oriented.
@@nunyabiznes33 you'll be flooded with SRcp after playing a while, don't spend your gems just for 2 more SR card. Spend gems on packs with multiple copies of UR and SR cards you need.

Just a hint. Since u cant attack with Zeus the turn u summon it u should play it in defense to play around Lightning Storm ^^

why use pot of desires? I don't see an upside to losing 10 cards? could just be me being thick though but I have 3 card of demise in there instead

Utopic draco doesn’t negate attack btw, it’s monster effect.
