A Tip that works for me that nobody ever mentions, is have an extra dappen dish filled with a bit of acetone and any brush. After each nail you do, clean up the skin and cuticle area with the acetone. This way any acrylic that got on skin gets removed. This has helped me soooo much. Natalie does it when she applies gel polish and it gets on the skin before she cures them. It also works so well with acrylic.

i use an old washe out polish bottle and fill it with acetone and use that, i also use it for when im doing mixed colors this way they dont get into the other polishes

That's an awesome idea too. I make my own dehydrator by mixing 50/50 alcohol and acetone and fill up an old nail polish bottle. I heard those are the main ingredients and many professionals use it. It works for me and I have no lifting.

@@naidelyncanales8552 I have been a pro nail tech for over 30 years, Sweety you only need the warmer if you work in a cold environment just make sure the room you are working in is warm in the winter months that's all. The Liquid only doesn't set with the powder correctly it's referred to and "frost" when it's too cold.

NICE work Natalie. I love watching your videos, you have a good way of teaching and have inspired me to pick up acrylics again. I used to do mine when i was in high school, which would have been back in '96-99 when my mother bought me a starter kit for i think it was xmas or easter. But i wasn't bad and got complimented on them even back then. I also used to paint on my bestie's long, natural nails and she got complimented on hers. Pretty soon, other's wanted me to paint theirs. Not sure why I stopped? But i have always been into creating beautiful things. Again, thank you and just know that your videos are doing some good in this world by inspiring others to use their creativity.

Can you do a video really targeting the monomer to acrylic powder ratio & how to properly apply it? That’s the only thing I can’t get done and idk if it’s because I’m using too much monomer and it’s too runny or if it’s because im picking up the acrylic powder wrong with the brush or if I’m using the wrong brush, idk

Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us . Your nail designs are so cute and creative. What state are you in?

Can you do a gel polish tutorial? I use dnd and I feel like the nail shape always becomes bulky, bumpy and can loose the shape.

I usually don’t like promoting other channels one someone’s channel but I found a really helpful video on gel nails for anyone else who is having trouble with applying gel polish. I know Natalie is busy and may be a while to make a video on gel polish!

I learned that if you use cheap glue sticks on the practice hand it won't work but if you use the KDS glue it works very good.
