How nice for this to pop up. My best friend of 35 years bought a house on Rue Porte Agove in Boussac back in 2020. Unfortunately she died of a brain tumour in 2021. Her husband sold the house and moved back to the UK. I have happy memories of Boussac with my friend.
@@gypsy1588 I will surely thank them - Therèse was very nervous but she let me know that they're happy with the video. Thank you for your support Gypsy 💖
I thought I was walking through the village of the Beauty and the Beast! Such a lovely village. Threse and Stevies house is so quant and cozy. Yes, the stairs would be an issue for me also. French onion soup and quiches are favorites for my husband and me. Make them often in the winter months. Thank you, Leon.
Thanks for posting. Town looks lovely. How lively is the village / town? Restaurants and bars or smaller? Saw a nice house for sale and thinking about it!
@@MT-fh9qy I do not live there but have visited Boussac quite a few times. There is a large South African community although not all of them live there permanently. There is a restaurant/bar in the centre as well as a hotel with a restaurant but it is difficult for me to say how lively it is. I had been to a market day (every Thursday) which was very lively. La Creuzette also offers many events throughout the year.
Booklet Leon Theresa house is very quaint, and knowing it was built with the churches old stone The onion soup I could smell as it was being cooked Delicious 😋 it, is very pretty place. Merci beaucoup Leon for sharing. A Bientot ❤❤
Greetings Leon! What a nice, homey video with long-term friends, homecooked, and very delicious-looking French onion soup! Loved the beautiful Gastgeschenk of flowers! In Germany it is tradition! Is it in So. Africa, also? In the U.S. French friends bring wine, which they expect you to serve with the meal? What Am. hostess would dream of not including her own special wine selection to go with her meal?! That was my faux pas, though with French friends! Tried to click the "LIKE" button, which was at 0. But I could not make it work for me! Alles Gute! Patricia
@@patriciafay-magiera1304 hello dear Patricia 🤗 Yes, in SA flowers or wine and here in France I usually take wine as tradition calls for flowers to be delivered before the meal in order for the host or hostess can display it before guests arrive. Bon week-end 💕💖💕

I discovered this vlog quite by accident, I am sooo glad I did! For once a video without the hysterical cliff hanger titles. I also saw the beautiful and calm video of the Chateau . I wanted to ask you if you know how they preserve the tapestries in the Chateau. The tiny insects there have a feast with woolen embroideries and I want to hang a piece of wool embroidery in my house in The limousin.
@@joseeallyn9950 a warm welcome to my channel! Thank you, I appreciate your kind words 🤗 I am not sure what the answer to your question is but I will find out from a friend who restores Aubusson tapestries. As soon as I get a response I will get back to you 🙂
@@joseeallyn9950 my apologies for the late response - I found out you can get Stick-it stickers Anti-mites from Amazon.fr to protect tapestries against all insects. You simply stick it on the back of the tapestry.
