    Great video. Thanks for the tools shown. Many car manufacturers strongly recommend that you do not lubricate the wheel bolts.

      It's graphite vaseline for high temperatures - no problem.

    • @Leff77
      @Leff77 2 месяца назад

      I think that the lubricant reduces the friction force and the bolt may come out spontaneously.

    • @Leff77
      @Leff77 2 месяца назад

      I also saw the instructions for the "Ate" caliper. It says that you should not lubricate the guides. It depends on the design. This is a long-standing dispute. Thanks again for your work. I recently purchased a Rifter. There is very little information about the repair. Your videos are very useful.

    You cannot apply grease on wheel hub because it is a friction joint. Hub must be mirror clean with lateral runout max 0,01 mm. Disc must have lateral runout max 0,04 mm. 6mm screw in disc 10Nm. Brake caliper support 100 Nm. Brake caliper 30 Nm, Electro motor housing on caliper InHeX 2x 10Nm. While pressing piston bleed out fluid throw bleeding screw. Not back in system

    Thank you for the vid. When you are counter-clockwise turning the piston against the new pads, you are also moving the brake disc freely. Do you have to keep turning counter-clockwise till the piston is pushing against the pads and the disc is fixed? Or do you have to stop before, so the disc can rotate freely?

    We can also put 9V or 12V at the motor, in a direction goes out, by inverting the poles, can be pressed. But, to avoid electrical issues, better like you do, if possible...

    Hello friend, very good video, I wanted to ask you a question, in my case I changed the discs and rear pads of my rifter myself, but I used a piston repositioner instead of how you have done it, as a recommendation for the future, do you think What should I do like you did or like I did? Do you know if the way I did it can cause a problem with the electric brake? Greetings and thank you.

      Thanks for the question. I think it doesn't matter which way it is done, but my way it can be done without special tools.

    Thank you for this awesome video 👍
    Could you please answer an important question for me? Was your EPB released at the time of disassembly? My EPB was released as i removed my brakes. After removing the EPB-Motor I turned the EPB screw a bit to completelly free the brake pads. Should I adjust something when I reattach my EPB-Motor or will the EPB-System adjust it itself?

    • @rickyhill5263
      @rickyhill5263 11 месяцев назад

      I also have this question, EPB released before starting or disasemble with EPB still engaged?? Can this go very wrong? I know other manufacturers require to be hooked up to PC to re calibrate. Thanks and great video.

      @nikobellic9496 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@rickyhill5263 I don't know if you still need this information, but I have already done everything and can say that the EPB adjusts fully automatically without having to readjust the screw 🙂
