As a mobile player, it is somewhat painful as I could accidentally use burst when trying to switch characters but everything is smooth for me and the storage ain't bad.

playing on mobile has its ups and downs. one of the ups is that you can play in any angle or position and you can play anywhere. one of the most common downs is the storage (its kinda obvious)
Its actually than 50% of storage than in PC, last pre-download on PC was 7GB, meanwhile on phone was 2.5GB

It makes me happy to see other players who don’t play it on Mobile try Genshin on Mobile for the first time and/or every now and then. Because Genshin is practically my current laptop’s ENTIRE disk space, so sadly I have to play on Mobile. I’ve been playing Genshin since August 5, 2022. It’s been 7 months and 2 days as of me commenting this (March 7, 2023), and I’m already over half way to reaching AR56 with only 13 Characters missing (All 5 Stars).
I’ll admit, Genshin on Mobile isn’t the best in the Graphic Quality Department, but it’s still just as enjoyable if you were playing on other devices.

genshin on mobile isnt always bad as a lot of pc players think. the only issue would be for me is that the screen size compared to a full screen size in monitor. istg half the time i dont even understand whats happening in a co op domain or which way im climbing the mountain

True, to me that's the biggest reason to use a PC anything is just pretty much the same, it's just different controls with a smaller screen that's it.
From my experience on PS5, the hardest part of the game in terms of GPU usage is Kazuha Q or getting extremely close to a waterfall or tree such that the waterfall or tree become semi-transparent. The hardest part on CPU is probably just running around in Sumeru

As a mobile player who just recently got a PC I still lean towards playing Genshin on my phone. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to it and the controls are easier and not something I have to relearn. But I always gravitate for my phone. And it’s really not that bad. Back when I first played the game I had major graphics issues and my ping was so bad I couldn’t get through cutscenes and would have to go find the rest of the cut scene I missed. But since upgrading my phone I really haven’t run into any issues and Genshin has been a pretty good.

and im surprised by the performance, mobile has evolved so much now we don't even need to turn on pc for just 4 dailies if we have a good phone
The only thing i prefer on pc is the sand. And some graphics, i find myself thinking that some of the key bindings make no sense

Its actually much smoother playing on abyss because none of the teyvat terrain is actively loaded, but it still sucks because you can't really 360 spin with nahida with most phones and it still feels inflexible in terms of gameplay
I remember when I played on mobile before switching to PC. It wasn't the greatest phone and I had to use pretty mediocre graphics but it was always just as fun. My main issues were co-op and the fact that it made my phone so hot it literally started to smell burned after a few hours-

I play on mobile and ps5 and I've never had any problem at all with my phone (iphone 12 mini, almost 2 years old). Good loading speed, graphics and no storage issues. The only cons are the battery usage and that it sometimes gets a bit warm. Otherwise I find it really easy to play on mobile and I love that you can take it and play anywhere, but I understand that it really depends on your device.

Also isn't this the model with the Hu Tao edition? If it is I'd expect a phone with a genshin collab to be able to run genshin without problems.

I've been playing genshin on mobile since the beginning of genshin initial release... And surprisingly my phone is still working to this day...
Although it can't run on high quality settings (it got overheated way too quick on high set) , it can still works well on mid settings... No issues whatsoever other than ping issue since I play on NA server while living on SEA
SEA is quite famous for internet issue so yeah... Sometimes It takes 5-10 seconds to load the enemies in abyss so I pretty much take it easy on abyss... I usually cleared abyss until 32 stars but if I think it's possible or if I'm lucky I can get 36 stars

funny story...my phone expanded from overheating and uh...the backscreen shattered..played like- only 2 hours or more straight in the chasm..
having your phone not explode and die aft 20 mins of playing is a miracle

As someone who plays on mobile I can confirm that I don’t lag a lot and the graphics are good, sometimes the loading screen takes a while but that’s about it, anyway, great video!! ❤️❤️

I mostly play Genshin on my Ipad Pro with a controller, but when I am out or taking breaks from work I will play for a little bit on my IPhone, but I am still clumsy playing on my phone because I don't do it enough, so my go to mobile team is my Ayato hypercarry with Kazuha, Yunjin and Zhongli (sometimes i use Bennett on this team but using Zhongli is more convenient for me on mobile). Ayato is very mobile friendly.
Ant being able to 36 star on mobile brings so much hope

I always 36 stars since the first release of raiden. I'm sure a lot of mobile users did way earlier than me. It's always possible but I use note 20 ultra, so can't say the same if using potato phone tho.

I play on all 3 platforms. PS5 mainly, PC when I want to co-op alongside Discord, and mobile/ipad with controller. Playing it on M2 iPad Pro looks amazing.

@@moonlight_flm ah so I looked this up. I use iso/apple which offers controller support by Genshin. The banning was for android users using third party programs to connect a controller. Genshin doesn’t directly support android with controller currently.
as a mobile player, your experience also heavily depends on your device and its abilities!! i have an iphone xr and an ipad air 5th gen... genshin definitely runs a LOT better on my ipad simply because its newer and has better storage, etc. while my computer simply cannot compare because of ram, space, etc.

I play on both mobile and pc. I tend to travel a lot so most of the time I play in my mobile or ipad. I can run 60fps and other than angles which PC is better I never really have problems in playing it. Its important to note that device DOES matter. The higher quality your device the better coz a friend of mine whenever she plays genshin her phone gets hot I bet I can fry egg on its back

I play Genshin on both my phone and tab and they run smoothly in highest setting. Occasionally yes there is lag if my battery is low or there is a lot of elements reacting at once but i can play anywhere I want I travel a lot daily so it’s usually convenient for me to be caught up to the content while playing in mobile.

I play Genshin on mobile and I have never had any issues. Sure the gameplay is a bit tense with certain characters but you can blame that on skill issue. I’ve been playing on mobile for over a year and I haven’t crashed once. No lag either unless I’m not connected to internet but you’d expect that.

Suggestion: try this out with the high performance mode on, tho it's already great as is, u will get a smoother gameplay with lower frame drops (if any) and sustained performance

It's the accumulated use over time that causes mobile phones to lag, so generally new phones won't have such problems.
Personally, my hardest part is the overheating and dodging.😅
when i played on mobile, i couldn't even take a step without glitching the whole game 😭and everytime stormterror showed up, my screen would literally glitch, it would be just a bunch of blue squares and i couldn't see anything
If you want to play Genshin Impact, then wait until it is winter and then play this game. It doesn’t only run faster it also makes your hand more comfortable.
I've been playing genshin impact for a month on my phone (I have a Infinix hot 12 with 11GB ram and 128 GB)
And it's honestly good , I'm AR 45 and 9-1 in the abyss (f2p btw)
Overall , i haven't gotten a single bit of lag (apart from ping)
And the hardest part is just with my hands , I sweat a lot in the abyss so I can't tap properly

as a mobile player i play on the ‘highest’ setting and have no issues, not even overheating. it might be because of the phone i play on (being the iphone 14 plus) but the only annoying thing is the FRICKING SAND IN THE DESERT 😡😡🙄

My issue with playing on a mobile device is touch control. The total lack of feedback feels awful after using a controller, plus you cover part of the screen with your hands. Would be much more agreeable if MHY could add controller support on Android.

Idk why, but I'm always having a hard time playing on computers/laptops. It's probably because I'm not used to it as we don't really have that much money to buy one back then, but it's hard having to control the mouse while thinking if you are clicking the right letter on the keyboard xD
That's why mobile is the best for me, and the genshin on my phone works well, too! I find mobile phones to be easy to work with. The only thing that sucks is not having mobile version of good games played on pc :'>

One thing that also lags even on my PC is the cutscenes. Those things are hell.
Playing on mobile is easy than on PC cause you have to memorize their skills letters, meanwhile it is one tap on mobile. But of course, it will depend on the mobile you use. You can also visit the developer mode and adjust some things there to run your game smoothly.

the loading time for abyss enemies definitely has gotten alot better w updates imo (or maybe my phone's software update did that 😭) but it's nice not waiting for 5 seconds WHILE ON A TIME CRUNCH?£('(_£ I've pretty much accepted the lag & loading time (even more so bc i play w like >200ms always)
i'm a xinyan/yoimiya main that exists on a 4-5 year old phone with 10gb left of storage. genshin runs on the highest quality w/ 60fps, no issue, no overheating, nothing. i'm just built different.

I played on my phone for two years and only just recently became a console and iPad player! I sometimes miss the days when my ping went up to 999 and bugs would happen that let me sprint forever or walk under the ground lmao

I still play genshin on my mobile and it's giving kind of the same experience. I think genshin is a pretty well optimized game even for mobile, I have just 8gb ram and it still runs high setting 60 fps with no lag
