Morning guys lovely filming as usual. Next visit to Guernsey hop on a bus number 7 from memory and 3-4 euros it takes you around to Vasson and Cobo beaches which are beautiful. You can get off and on the bus anytime.
P&O was my first contract Australia thought …. Then I transfer to P&o uk joining in Jamaica done 3 contracts there, where all of them was on Aurora :-) meet my husband on board her and always will be strong memories. Last ship to work on ship …. What a memory and today it is our 10th wedding anniversary . Thanks guys great vlog
Can't wait to be back on Aurora this year, she was our first cruise ship. Your Sindhu meal looked gorgeous, it's nice that you still get all the extra touches such as the poppadoms which you don't get on Iona. Looks like you had a blast 🤩👏🎉
Have a great cruise, she is a special ship. Yeah, Sindhu on Aurora was much better, they don't do the lunch on Iona either which is a shame. Lets hope that's just a thing at the moment and they will in future!

I love this ship. The exterior, especially around the end (no idea what the nautical term is!) looks to me exactly what a ship should look like! I am far less keen on the newer Las Vegas vessels. The cruise I want to go on is through the Panama Canal, from Miami to Los Angeles. Maybe one day! Thank you for the video! Have a fabulous week. You are a beautiful couple!
I’ve been watching your Arvia Vlogs recently as I am on her in a few weeks. And I came across this video of you guys in Guernsey looking for the famous Blue Bottle Gin! I live in Guernsey, unfortunately the shop that sold it in our town had closed down, but it is still available along with another version of it, Blue Bottle Navy Gin and also a rum called Gold Bug Botanical Rum. If you ever decide to return to the island I’d be happy to help you guys out in getting some 😁
Oh, have a fabulous time on Arvia. Oh yes, that was Aurora last year and our hunt for gin! We did try a local rum, but cant remember the name. We did pick up a bottle of Wheadon's Mandarin Lime & Hibiscus gin, which was very nice! Oh, thank you for the offer! :)
@@CruiseMonkeys I’m sure we all will have a great time, thanks! I think the rum you tried may have been Indica Rum. There isn’t many that are locally distilled. Wheadon’s Gin however is also very nice, I prefer it over the Blue Bottle 😁
Never fancied cruising on Aurora before but we do now, another absolutely top class vlog, once again many thanks. Sky Princess, we found it extremely busy and just constantly queueing for everything, lovely ship, staff were great, sadly a fight between a passenger and a waiter, happened so apart from that a good cruise, but we wouldn’t go back on that particular ship, too busy for us.

Went to Guernsey on Britannia and paid one pound for a bus ride to go all around the island, lovely place. Haha! Thats so cruise life...just going to get a small snack....comes back with a full roast dinner with lashings of gravy! I also said that and came back to the table with a tikka masala, rice, bombay potatoes and a side of naan bread. Dinner is in an hour and a half! Lol, cruise life 🤣

Awww thank you! No, irons are not allowed on any of the cruise ships sorry. Cunard do have laundry rooms where you can use the iron or do any washing/drying needed. Also, you can put it in to be pressed at an extra charge.
Great to see your review of the Aurora I am now looking forward to the Northern Lights cruise in Dec, wasnt sure what to expect after sailing on larger and newer ships but it looks amazing.

Most mornings and afternoons I’m sober, unless it’s boarding day or the final day, I usually drink earlier to stop earlier then (final day) I’m never on my own in a hot tub after I’ve had a few Gav’s always about just Incase, thanks for your concern though❤️⚓️

Best ship in the fleet, ships now are getting to big.you do find those coffee,s are strong 😅If they do replace her I hope it's a ship of the same size.
Not this time. We’ve done the BoB a good few times, sometimes smooth others rough. Depends on time of year abs etc but it’s not too bad most of the time - it’s reputation is worse.
Aurora is a beautiful ship! She’s almost yacht like, we went on Iona in Feb and then Aurora in May and we weren’t disappointed! We loved our time onboard and would love to go back on her.
Love gin as well....my favorite restaurant here in Atlanta makes a gin cocktail that is amazing. I don't know all the measurements but the ingredients are below...cheers :) bombay sapphire gin, elderflower, lemon, mint, peach bitters

Just come off the ship. Possibly the nicest of the P and O ships. But have not tried Iona tried Ioana yet.
