I dislike this new design. If these machines are made to work in reduced areas what happens when you swing around and you have 14 inches hanging of your track?

I think it’s a trade off. If you widened it back to its original stance you wouldn’t have overhang but you might also not fit into the tight spots that require the narrower width to track through the overhang is there to give stability when working over the side to balance it out. So you can step up to the 305 which would be zero or step down in size. I think they were trying to cover the most ability per customer input in the 4 ton size.
