Hi, nice playing. Isn’t the white foam under the bridge bit for shipping purposes. As the bridge is the main string connection to the hollow body, I would think that a demonstration of the sound would be much better with the foam bit removed and the bridge resting on the actual arched top. Peace man. 😬✌🏽
Is that a for certain thing, I just bought this guitar a couple hours ago and haven't removed the foam either because I can't stop playing it. Love this thing
Yes, it is a certain and logical thing. The bridge should of course be in contact with the arched top. The bridge is held only by string tension, so when you remove tension on the strings, the bridge can be liftet slightly so you can remove the foam. Tune up the guitar again and check that intonation is okay at the twelfth fret. If not move the bridge towards the back or towards the neck. When it sit’s where it should be take a pic or use u pencil to mark the position for the next time you change strings. ✌🏽

Looks like it's still for sale so makes sense to keep it the way it was out of the box.
Hi, nice video. I would like to know it it’s the same size as an ES 175?
if you mean the width of the body the answer is no. The Ibanez is 14.5", the ES 175 IS 16"
