I bought my first Doc Marten’s when I was 15 in 1998! I was so young my parents gave me some money towards the purchase. I wore them for over 10 years! They were brown shoes with thick clear rubber sole. I’ve had a few pairs since, but my favourites are the soft leather black ankle boots. They’re so comfortable and timeless :) 🇨🇦
I took my longchamp in beige on holiday and it was absolutely the best buy

When I was in high school Dr. Martens were really big here in the states. Funny story, I am a twin. I have a twin sister who is a few minutes older than me. She has a more dominant personality (not in a bad way) and I’m quieter and more reserved. She really wanted a pair of Dr. Martens boots for Christmas and they cost about twice what my dad budgeted for each of us. She said, “we can share them.” My dad was like, “I can already see how that would go. You would be wearing them and say, Joy don’t you like OUR Dr. Martens.” 😂😂😂

I have had my Doc Marten boots since 1992 and they are still in great condition!
Doc Martens boots or bulldog shoes have been around for so loong it’s a classic brand!

Doc Martens are known in many parts of the world, since the punk rock days especially… For the boots, have a look at the knee high lace ups… bought them 2 winters ago, worn them around 200 times and with a little leather care, they will look like new for the next 10 years… my standard Doc.s I have had since 15 years…

Everyone in America has had a pair of Doc Marten boots. Mine are black. I’m 67 and looks like I’ll have them forever, like a cashmere sweater. I just sold that Cyme bag. I had it for a few weeks and realized I wasn’t going to use it. Just HAD to have it though. 🙄

I have 2 pairs of the NB 327s. They are amazing! So comfy! Walked in them all day many times while travelling and running errands. Great choice!

As seen on RUclips there have been many complaints about Polene. Quality is not satisfactory, neither is their customers' service.

I luv my Doc Martens boots! I had them when I was in my 20’s , and bought them again 2 yrs ago in my 50’s, it’s affordable, trendy and comfy! 😍
By coincidence have also got a NB 327 trainers from Harvey Nic in Brown/Blue (my favourite colour combination after blue/black 😂😂) and can confirm they are as good looking as supporting as they seem, very impressed by the quality
You bought some great pieces 🤩 The Loewe jeans suit you really well. I really liked Polene a few years ago, but the quality has gone down so much. I had also bought the Cyme tote bag and it had several flaws. This was the case again with the second order. I thought that was such a shame as I loved the design so much.

I really like the Loewe denim jeans. They fit you so well and are very versatile. They most be your fits item from the brand. The Longchamp Le Pliage is so very cute as well 😊

I’m in the US and I have 4 pairs of DM boots. Had them for years. They are my go to boots for Fall/Winter. My husband and I have been wearing New Balance for over a decade, they are the most comfortable.
Btw you look great in the jeans. But your opinion is the only one that matters.

Dr. Martens are iconic, I would be surprised if there are many people who know shoes but don't know this brand. However, I don't think they are British-made any longer and I've heard people claim the quality has gone down. If one wants the look of Dr. Martens but better quality, Solovair is usually recommended, which used to be the maker of Dr. Martens before they moved the production abroad. I own one of each. 😊

Yes!! I tried on the Loewe sneakers and the salesperson told me to buy inserts because the soles are so hard. Sorry….. I’m not buying inserts for sneakers that are that expensive. I also bought the 327’s and wore them to Vegas and they were so comfortable for a fraction of the price.
Return the pole be bag and run. The corner wear and the fact it doesn’t stand up will drive you nuts. Save your money. Get a Neuf if you need a polene.
I’ve ordered from Longchamp many times and always got the green boxes or bags from the brand. I think you were unlucky this time 😢. I have a Lepliage bag size medium, the one with the shoulder handle and it’s the best for travelling

Love Loewe leather goods & especially love that their bags don’t have flashy logos; therefore, huge pass on the jeans. Sorry but in my opinion, giant logos are tacky. (And I’d be embarrassed for anyone to know that I paid close to $1k for a pair of jeans. )

Dr. Martens were a popular boot brand in the States back in the 80s. They were all over my high school. I think it was from the British bands where I first saw them enter mainstream US pop culture. They were very much so apart of my childhood on the states and I continue wearing them here in the U.K. 😊

I like all the items but the Loewe jeans and the other stories blazer are not very nice. Jeans do not flatter your body shape and the blazer is too tight.
