She had been in stuff more than what I have seen the female who played the popular one on the T . V . show Step by Step , surprised she character or I meant who loved fashion were not in more things/ though all through were beautiful
@@drummingdanny84 My Two Dads, this show, then Step By Step. I heard that after SBS, Staci was offered the role of Carrie on Two Of A Kind. Two Of A Kind was the Olsen Twins' 1st TV series after Full House.
I remember this show being on TGIF for less than a year, but didn't know Staci keanan was on it. So this got cancelled and she was right back on TGIF for Step by Step. Interesting
Ok. I've seen these episodes so many times since they've been released here. Still love them. Please add more episodes. I wanna see the Thanksgiving one where the guys eat pizza and watch football.
We never got this show in England. Just streamed all the episodes for the first time and loved it. Huge Heather Locklear fan so lovely to see her in something ‘new’ to me. Anyone got the missing episodes?
I never figured out why this show failed. It replaced “Just the ten of us” which got fairly high ratings and was supposed to get switched to another day and time instead of being cancelled altogether but it was not half the sitcom “Going Places” was so it seems like “Going Places” should have carried over and had even more success. “Going Places” had so much going for it by having the perfect blend of sophisticated comedy and slapstick not to mention 2 incredibly beautiful leading ladies. This was my favorite show in the TGIF lineup next to “Perfect Strangers” and the best show TGIF ever had in the 8:30 central time slot. After they pulled the plug on this show ABC seemed to struggle indefinitely to find a show to bring TGIF to a close every Friday night by putting in some of the worst sitcoms ever one after another and then eventually landing on “Camp Wilder” as the permanent show in that time slot which is one of the lamest sitcoms to ever air. I would like to meet one person who would rather watch “Camp Wilder” over “Going Places”. I am sure there are some who would prefer “Just the ten of us” over “Going Places” for some head scratching reason but TGIF was not a good place for “Just the ten of us” to begin with. Nick
@@primekiller5729 ABC could've told them to take a hike but were too scared to lose them, since they were creating shows every year for them and they didn't want to risk losing a hit from their asses.
Screwed by the Network: Despite earning decent ratings as part of ABC's TGIF block and frequently winning its time slot, the show was abruptly cancelled in the spring of 1990, due to ABC wanting all shows in the TGIF block to be packaged by Miller-Boyett Productions, as was the case with fellow programs Family Matters, Full House, and Perfect Strangers.
So crazy I don’t even remember this. You can tell the people of Full House created it. It has the same opening font and color with camera angels. Pretty lame.
Displaced, and also lead to the cancellation of, the popular family sitcom Just the Ten of Us, which had been a TGIF staple since 1988. ABC had decided they wanted a more adult show as a lead in for their 10 PM Friday night news program 20/20 and felt Going Places would attract more adult viewers. Nevertheless the show was a critical and ratings failure, while Just the Ten of Us's reruns performed excellently on the USA network. This lead ABC to publicly comment, in the spring of 1991, that it had been a mistake to cancel Just the Ten of Us.
Maybe the same *kind* of house, since all their shows would have had the same set designer. However, this was not the exact same house as other M-B shows.
Of course, Alan Ruck was Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and was later Stuart on Spin City. He also played Capt. John Harriman of the Enterprise-B in Star Trek Generations. As for Jerry Levine, I had never heard of him but he's actually been in a lot of movies and TV shows.
I dunno, I think Joel Zwick directed the pilot and he had a lot of experience with Full House on TGIF already. It did start to get a bit better at the end and picked up some viewers but it was cancelled for Baby Talk, which was another failure.
@@The_Retro_Sitcom_Network What bothers me is that this show replaced Just the Ten of Us, which was a good show. ABC made a big mistake here and at least they admitted it a year later.

It was a “fish out of water” from the very start. The closest series in the Miller-Boyett canon that “Going Places” could be compared to was “Perfect Strangers” but that show had an over-the-top character in Balki that children could relate to. Why ABC thought it would be a good idea to slot a sitcom based around young singles in a block of programming aimed towards children is still a mystery. They attempted a retooling of the show beginning with episode #14, adding children to the cast to bring the show into line with the rest of the TGIF fare but it was too late.
@@The_Retro_Sitcom_NetworkJoel Zwick was the primary director of Laverne and Shirley, another Miller/Boyett show and he did Perfect Strangers too. He knew slapstick comedy
Hallie Todd also played Data's daughter Lal on an ep of Star Trek TNG, I liked her on this a lot better than Heather Locklear. I don't care for her and I have nothing else to say about her!
And this certainly wasn't the worst sitcom Holland Taylor ever did, no, that dubious distinction goes to the abomination that was Baby Bob! At least she went on to do Two & A Half Men!

let me know if there's an old show you're looking to see
Gotta love the Miller Boyett songs and fonts❤. Miss these days
Did they have them on their 70s sitcoms Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Mork and Mindy and Bosom Buddies?
Every TGIF show had a great peepy theme song. I can still sing the Step by step and Family Matters themes 30 years later
This one isn't bad. But you know a show is terrible when you only like the theme song.

Cameron ended up moving out to LA to escape the wrath of his father for wrecking his car.
LMAOO
It seems, Cameron and his father don't get along so well. Perhaps, they are so much alike. "Like father like son" 💬🥰
Later on he was in New York as the chief of staff for City Hall. Michael J Fox was Deputy Mayor...

Styles and Cameron in the same show! lol
It’s really bizarre seeing Locklear in a sitcom after eight years as Sammy Jo on Dynasty.
So Cameron from ferris Buellers Day off did a show with Styles from Teen Wolf with Michael J Fox who later worked with Cameron in Spin City
I just remembered, can you please upload the 🆕 Gidget show. It was late 80s or early 90s show. Thanks for your great work! ❤️
"Work to do, got work to do..."
The show that replaced the better Just the Ten of Us, for stupid reasons.
Lubbock Babes were the eye candy of every teenage boy who were stuck at home on a Friday Night in that era.
Because Miller Boyett wanted all their shows for the TGIF time slots!
