This guy Alan Ruck from Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a very moderate talent but he has been consistently working in both film and TV for the last 40 years. Very impressive.
*"This guy Alan Ruck from Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a very moderate talent..."* I can't contradict you, but from the two episodes that I've seen he's the most talented actor of the show.
@@mixon270 Going Places had the 9:30 slot. Step By Step took the 8:30 slot when it first premiered. The short-lived Baby Talk took over the 9:30 after Going Places ended.
I do have some complete TGIF blocks with commercials. I downloaded most of them on the archive .org site. Just search tgif and you’ll find some vhs uploads. It’s a treasure trove. I’ll keep posting Going Places.

I sure as hell hope none of my future doctors have a RUclips username that contains "douchbag" (wow, and you can't even spell "douchebag" correctly, either).
Alan Ruck and Levine are great in this!
Useless trivia. They have both worked with Michael J Fox.

I thought he was very funny as Stuart on Spin City.
I'm surprised he didn't have to take miles off the Porsche by running in reverse.
And that cable show, the one where he played the rich guy's son...

Please watch Succession
This show and its intro/outro are awesome.
Decent TV show I just hate that just the ten of us lost that time slot for going places, which led the show to get cancelled.
Then step by step took the time slot

I don't understand --- Step by Step seems like a typical family show to me... Going Places seems like a show for twenty-something adults.
Dang, that news teaser at the end... could've been said today!
History always repeats itself
Charlie can take the miles of the car by jacking it up and running it in reverse. What can go wrong?
Apparently the ladies loved their white socks back in 1990.
Everybody loved their white socks back in 1990.
What episode is it a boy says "I know someone who flunked the 3RD Grade so many times he left class to repark his car!"
Also do you just have going places episodes, do you have Full House or family matters episodes that officially aired on TGIF?

@@The_Retro_Sitcom_Network ok thanks
This has got to be one of the most obnoxious, grand standing, vanilla shows I’ve ever seen
Vanilla, yes, but not obnoxious or grandstanding.
Define 'vanilla'.
@@bricaaron3978 bland, vapid, void of substance
