I'm a fully grown woman and almost in tears at how cute this is! This is the tutorial I didn't know I needed! A friend has made a wooden rocking horse for another friend's daughter, and she has an American Girl type of doll that is the right size for the horse. However her knees don't bend! She just has legs sticking straight out in front!!! As I like crafting and sewing, I volunteered to make a saddle that keeps the doll in place....and now wishing I hadn't said anything! 😵 I know I'll manage it in the end, but I'm a bit overwhelmed at what I've got myself into! Definitely though, this medieval shaped saddle looks ideal! It's almost a chair back on the rear, and a pommel in the front to stop her slipping forward between her legs, and I'm sure those are gonna be useful to wedge the doll in an upright position. I'll probably have to make them a bit larger than the original, but it's for a child to play with, so it needs to be robust and pink and pretty, as opposed to intricate and authentic....like pink poppers in place of those diddy little buckles you made! 🧐 Blimey that horse has got tons of leather straps all over it's body! They don't do that these days do they? It's very regal looking and you recreated it insanely beautifully, but horses back then were seriously strapped in for business! 😳 You putting those gold dots on was painstaking! Do you get work offered from movie sets or that sort of thing? Because you should! Wish me luck on my pink padded sparkly version! I'm gonna need it! Making it is no problem....making it so the doll stays put in it, is another matter.... 😂
Hello this is our most beautiful Czech fairy tale. The actress who played Cinderella is called Libuše Šafránková and her horse is called Jurášek. Great creation of models and environments, you have great videos. I enjoy watching your RUclips channel. 🐎❤️😊
Young Lady, you are an Amazing Artist! Keep doing your craft, one day the World will know your Name. Hope your Love ones know how Gifted you are! Two Thumbs up! 👍🏽👍🏽
I'm 4 hours late but when I saw the video I was 40 minutes late! I, unfortunately, at that time could watch as I had to tidy my schleich. But seeing the customs and tack makes me shiver! It takes so much skill!!
This movie is pretty much mandatory Chistmas Eve watch in here 😂😂 I think they took of the Christmas Eve schedule once, put it on like day earlier or later, but there were probably many complains afterwards, because they put it back on next year and every year since 😂😂😂 But we love it of course. There is no Christmas without this movie 😉
I love this so much!! I am from Czechia myself and this fairytale has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am so in love with this model
As soon as I saw this video I clicked on it, I was so excited! Absolutely amazing your videos are some of my favorite. I always watch every minute of it!
Lovely! The girl is so lifelike with her expression and hair. The horse is gorgeous. If you could somehow make his mane and tail out of hair, I think the whole combination would come alive. I love your work.
Wow, this is the best horse and tack set you've ever done in my opinion 🤩 Your my biggest inspiration, when it comes to tackmaking, all your pieces are just so realistic. Thank you for your videos ❤
I'm sadly gonna miss it, but I'm already blown away by the thumbnail. It looks so insanly realistic! Btw. is there any way to send you fanart? You've given me so much through your tutorials so I want to give something back!
OMG that's so amazing! Litteraly the best Tack Set ever! Your'e so talented and creativ. We also watch this movie every christmastime. Cinderella's hair turned out so good :)
I am quite sure that in Medieval times (just before I started school lol) people weren't scandalised about horse tack not matching, in fact as late as the 1960s, if something broke you made do with baling twine lol! Nail art is one of the best things to happen to miniaturists. You are so amazing with the doll hair, I use viscose which is also very thin and comes in every colour imaginable, I get it on eBay and tiny amounts last people like us (I only occasionally do 1/12th now as it's all CollectA and those nice ones who's names escape me butI have a skewbald one) forever so it's not that expensive, if you were rerooting Barbies or BJDs it would be but you only ever use a tiny bit as you know. There's a channel on RUclips tube and the lady does clothes for doll house people, I don't know why I remembered just now because it was your video with the endurance horse that you sent to the Netherlands, anyway, you mentioned the sticking clothes on for dioramas etc, where you're not going to be changing the outfit. Anyway she shows you how to do the glued clothes, I will find the name and leave it on the comments in the Video for that diorama, it's always really handy to know and she has hair tips too. Its called Mini Doll Kits, I will leave the specific one at the endurance video. The same lady has videos on Colvin dolls here on RUclips too, it's brilliant for making really nice looking clothes, if you aren't going to change them, they are essentially glued to the figures but it's perfect for dioramas.
You work impressively in miniature. I sure can't. I like the saddle, it's very old-school.It's like the saddles traditionally worn by the Peruvian Paso horses because they have the really high backs and square skirt. I'll have to try and watch this movie.
I absolutely love this! (Not just bcs I'm Czech hehe) Not giving up on Rozárka was also awesome to see! I love how realistic it all looks! Though Popelka could look a tiny bit younger, but that's just something that you can't change (and if you can, then it most definitely wouldn't be easy) but that's just a little detail that doesn't even matter in all of this.
It is so incredibly inspiring to watch you making these pieces of art! You inspired me to repaint my first model horse or foal, too and wow the effort you put into your work is immense! People say you are so talented and yes, maybe you are - but what makes your crafts so beautiful isn't talent, it is your patience, love of detail and effort you put into every single one of them! This is so admirable! Thank you so much for sharing and please keep it up!
I know I’m supper late but aaahhh I love this so much ❤ One of my favorite movies of all time! I love everything about this, the tack set was spot on, the custom is gorgeous, and doll Popelka turned out so well. I love how you even made little Rozarka and everything looks so nice in the shed ❤❤❤❤ Also I could never sew such tiny doll clothes or make such precise tack. It all looks so good!
This is so wonderful... I don't understand how you do it, but it's amazing❤️😅 Also my favorite Christmas fairy tale, which was filmed in the country where I live❤️
Awww, I'm so happy you took inspiration from this specific movie. It's absolute classic in our country (where it was also made), and even though it was created long time ago, the vibe of it is just mesmerizing. Your work is beyond perfect. Btw the name of the horse is Jurášek (Yurashek, if you want that *pronounciation*).
Hi Daisy! I am SO amazed about how you manage to do those tiny tiny buckles!!😮😳 I have tried in the past but it almost NEVER works for me. I also think about how much patience it must take to thin leather and attach buckles to other things… I feel so sorry for the part in your vid how you made identical pieces for the bridle instead of mirrored pieces! You are AMAZING so never stop doing what you love! Also, what is your address? How can I send you something??🧐 I would love to do a trade with you!!
"It wasnt actually that hard to make" me: " WHAT?!?! The tiny buckles! the crazy detailed leathers, the awesome design!" *new comment* Im not even sure if this is related to the video but, no offence schleich, I think collecta is much better. they're have amazing models, and they are more realistic in my opinion
Hey Josefine! Can you please make a video dedicated to violet flower garden? She passed away last month and there is now a massive hole in the community…please consider making a video dedicated to her.❤ - from a fellow Josephine/josefine

Yes, you pronounced my name correctly as in Slovak.. 😀😎 Thank you so much!
I'm making a return visit because I think I'm finally going to build that Tudor house kit I have had for about 2 years, I just remembered your Medieval tack and clothes for the doll would probably be perfect to put along with the house (its supposedly historically accurate so I thought I should make an effort, I have some other CollectA farm animals so I can put her on a stool milking a cow and the clothes you made are perfect. So if it turns out and my aged memory works I may put a picture on Instagram when its finished and tag you for the tack and clothes.(maybe thats overly optimistic but I wouldnt mind giving it a try. I dont know how I didnt notice first time around but, your models are uncannily accurate, the photo of both is amazing! Beautiful!❤
Seeing those models in the thumbnail makes me so happy! That movie is a Christmas classic in a country where i grew up. I'm excited!
My childhood ❤️. I love u for this

The tack set is amazing but I was blown away by the rider doll. The level of detail you've managed to achieve at such a small scale is insanely good!
