Hi Matteo, a question, did you do the ground movement after the air phase? Because when airbases are captured any damaged planes will be lost (so the soviet player will probably lose even more planes on round one after the german ground war phase).

No, I just showed the results that appeared in the ground movement phase without actually invading any enemy hex. On the forum, I've seen one guy destroying more than 7.000 planes during the first turn (air + ground movement phase together), but he suffered atrocious losses as well. As a very "conservative" player, I prefer to spare the life of my pilots instead of pushing my airmen to their limits!

@@fraulens Good call, I try to keep my losses of pilots down too. Planes get rebuild in the long term and will be replaced with better models. Experienced pilots are a rarer asset.

@@cdsys73 that's my philosophy as well! Also, remember not to send your Air Groups to other TB, or you'll lose your experienced pilots 😉
