Thanks so much for this - I keep seeing people say that Piñata Silver is just grey and not shiny, so I haven’t bought it. I just use Piñata gold. However, you have shown that it is possible to get Piñata silver to be super shiny with the little clumps that I like, so now I will buy some and try it myself! Do you find the silver works best when the other ink colour is quite diluted like your blue is? Or have you had it work well with more concentrated (darker) inks?
Hi Rosie, the silver works with all colors I think the trick is to make sure you shake the bottle very well and agitate the silver on the paper with your fingers or a brush if you find it pooling or clumping. I think the environment plays a big role as well.. if it's too humid in the room I find it acts differently too. I just try to go with the flow and hope for the best :) I hope this helps! and thanks so much for watching!
Hi Hilde ☺️ I use Grafix craft plastic in opaque white. I’ve used Nara as well and it’s actually very similar to the Grafix… maybe try a lower heat setting? I also get a bit of warping if I concentrate on the same area for too long even on the low heat setting.
I love this because I'm just starting out with alcohol inks and can't blow it to save my life!! I have the same heat gun. Did you put alcohol on first? I love your style!!!!!
You could but it would take a bit longer to lock the lines in place b/c there is no heat. I’ll have to try 😃 I suspect the higher air pressure from the air brush would change how you push the ink around as well
Thank you for sharing! May I know which silver brand you use? I’m using Silver Jacquard Piñata but it doesn’t seem to give the same bright effect like it’s Brass version ;(
Hi Nazurah! Thank you so much for watching! I’m also using the Piñata silver as well! And I agree… there is something about the brass that is just so gorgeous and shiny 😍
Hi I watch this video for many times trying to produce this effect. But ink goes to multiple direction so weired lines appears, instead of pretty ripples like yours. Can you give me some advice?
Maybe try tilting the paper to one side while you dry the inks to prevent the ink from going to too many directions? It will go many directions on its own anyway just be patient and keep practicing! Thanks for watching 😃
Hi Kate, in this video I’m using grafix craft plastic, I do have a video where I explain how to create lines here ruclips.net/video/vMahJuggSFk/видео.html hope that helps thanks for watching!

Thank you!!! Can I ask what tool you’re using to push the ink around?
Hi Julia, it’s called an Mlife mini heat tool, the link is in the description box of that helps 😃
I love this because I'm just starting out with alcohol inks and can't blow it to save my life!! I have the same heat gun. Did you put alcohol on first? I love your style!!!!!
I did put the alcohol down first 😃 and thanks so much!
Would an air brush have the same affect? Or do you need the heat?
You could but it would take a bit longer to lock the lines in place b/c there is no heat. I’ll have to try 😃 I suspect the higher air pressure from the air brush would change how you push the ink around as well
What hair dryer used ?
Hi Alicia, I’m using a mini heat gun purchased from Amazon “Mlife mini heat gun” hope this helps and thanks for watching!
