This "6 months" rule is total bs... I sell ps4 consoles on a daily basis, and yes, sometimes i forget to logoff and delete my user/account from certain consoles while testing them, so it ends up in another person possession, i used deactivate all once, and now I have to wait 6 months to do it again? That's bs.

No, he is right. Game sharing only works between 2 accounts. Yeah, your psn can be logged into multiple playstations, but actual game sharing works only between 2 linked consoles

Did you change your password, enable 2FA, deactivate your account on all devices AND also select log out on all devices?

This is how me and my friends game share up to 4 of us now for some reason we get to keep the licenses of the account who bought the games we just wait for the 6 month period delete the recent friend who we just gave the account to and repeat we can still download his games too it’s weird but if you change your password he won’t be able to sign in and download other games he can just play the ones he already downloaded

What's the solution?
You need to make a new account on the Playstation, you can only associate 1 Playstation account with one 1 user. So if you signed out on your account and tried to log into theirs, that's probably the issue.
If you delete yourself as a Family Manager off a console, presumably all purchases to that account are stored in the cloud until it logs into another PS. But the sub family members… what happens to them? Are they automatically kicked off the PS, or can they stay on it but simply lose the benefits of shared games?
And if the family sub account is less than 18, is it true they cannot edit anything until they reach 18 and thereafter can edit their profile and subscriptions?
to make it simple: if the account that holds the games is removed from the ps5, then no other user will be able to play those games or have access to said subscriptions like ps plus for ex

no cool down, you have to change the password also to help

I sold my old PS4 slim console to someone and forgot to deactivate it or delete the data. If I deactivate all the consoles in my account PS4 slim and PS5 (2 consoles) can I activate the PS5 immediately to play the games or do I have to wait 6 months? I changed my playstation account password.
Does that person have access to the games I bought on PS4 slim?

you can contact sony support manually if you already did the deactivate all console method, but they should be able to manually deactivate ur ps4 as primary and disable console sharing for ur previous ps5

no because they need to manually sign out, unless you change the password yourself

its all depending on your console, so if you delete fortnite for ex, on one user, it will delete off the whole console

So if I’m understanding this correctly, whenever you go to device management, the consoles on there are NOT YOUR consoles? Because I had my account modded for bo3 and sometimes it says I don’t have the licenses to play any of my games, and that I have game sharing active with another console even after I changed my password.
Nevermind, I guess the PlayStation that was showing up WAS the other guys ps that I had “game shared”. Because now after I deactivated it, it no longer says that I’m game sharing with anyone and that I CAN ENABLE game sharing. Hope this helps someone. Thanks for this video too, it helped out.

yes but to remove the access completely you must follow the steps

Doesn’t this deactivate the whole console tho?
No, it only deactivates your account on all consoles but you can log in again in to your personal consoles right after you 'deactivate all consoles'. Basically it logs out your account and removes it from all consoles that you've logged in but you should change your password after doing so, just for safety.
It doesn't deactivate your PS3/PS4/PS5 or PSVITA.

manually removing is near impossible only, but removing access is possible use the playstation website method

What do I do me and my dad has 2 accounts in the same playstion every time he download a game on his account it goes to my account and when I delete it his game gets deleted and if he deletes my games on his account my gets
If the games are on the same console you can't delete them because they are in the same console and not on two different ones if you delete a gane of your dads account it will be deleted for both accounts because its on one consoles memory if it were to be 2 different consols then you'd have 2 different memory's

@@lilwichy3194 no his thinks on the ps5 stays it's just his account that you'r deleting from your ps4 look up a tutorial on how to remove the account and not delete just to be sure but as far as i know you can't delete anything from his ps5 with your ps4 because its 2 different consols.
