One hell of a day. Bama thought this was gonna be a Vanderbilt type win, yawner game and then leave the stadium mad because we came in and rocked them. And to add salt to the wound our band comes in and kicks their bands ass at halftime. A great day.
I about choked on my fruit punch when that lady said, "Where are the majorettes?" My first thought was, "Majorettes?! We don't need no stinking majorettes!"
If the Aggie football team had been behind by 2 touchdowns instead of ahead by 2 touchdowns then the applause for The Band would've been 16 times as proud.

Native Texan here, but I grew up in Deep Southern Alabama as a kid, and yes, those folks are big on majorettes. Why? They just do.
