- F4U Corsairs and the P-51 Mustang 'Quicksilver' perform flybys and aerobatics during the Friday warbird airshow at EAA AirVenture 2021 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The expanded warbird segment commemorated the 75th (plus 1) anniversary of the end of WWII.

T he merlin is only 5/8 the size of the PW R2800, and That PACKARD Merlin does sing its song.....F R E E D O M !!!!! The R2800 growls its way. The Mustang was waaaay more efficient smaller but faster !!!
The Corsair was the best fighter in WW2.
citadel WRONG !!!! It was among the best, NOT THE best !!! It did not serve in Europe !!!
@@wilburfinnigan2142, I guess you don't know about when they tested other fighter aircraft to the Corsair AFTER THE WAR WAS OVER. The Corsair out classed all the other fighters tested in pretty much every respect.
Mustang looks like racing horce, against that Corsair looks like big, ughly ponny.
