To encounter the combination of great musicianship and such a friendly, gentle character as is the case of Larry Grenadier, is really one of the best things in life! Thanks for a great interview.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was such a joy for me to chat to Larry and I'm thrilled he was so generous with his time. BTW, the third part of this interview on bass gear is due out later this week. :-)
Found it exemplary, They kept it real 100, I wouldn't differ, whether you're sweeping, mopping, raking, or basically mowing the lawn outside everything you're doing becomes physical. I didn't mean you have to sweat take breaks, stop and have a cool drink in between. Sure the bucket water gets dirty, sometimes it could boring maybe should try vacumming the living room last then wax furniture as a final task. Think the point here simply try different approaces so you don't stay in a rut. True you could cut the backyard first, if you have a dog he or she doesn't know the difference, if you don't own one its nice to look at you're completed work because only you did it!!! Discover bass is always hip!
Geoff...you are doing great work for the double bass community. This was a great interview. Larry is an honest person and great player!
Thanks Michael, I really appreciate that.
Cheers Geoff
