More good dubstep from Skream. Spark a j, bob + chill ;-) (BTW, windows media player has screwed the length of the mp3 again, it should be 6:32, I cba to fix it so stop listening there!)
My taste in dubstep started with Skrillex( who doesn't even make dubstep cuz it's way too screamy) and it evolved backwards so now I like older stuff that I thought was boring before
***** he recently made a new song in april. He also created an album last year for bbc. He gave up in 2011 but came back 2013. Saying something similar to what I just said in my first comment.

Hey, if you like this kind of music, could you please stop by my channel and listen to any of the 6 songs on my Arial Font EP. I'm trying to make dubstep is the style of Skream and other old school artists. I like new, crazy dubstep too, but I want to try to bring back deep, grimey, slow, bass-heavy music. So please, please please check my Arial Font EP, thank you! :)
You idiots complaining about today's dubstep don't realize there is underground dubstep. But of course you bums wouldn't go out of your way to find it. smh
Take a chill pill. You know darn well what sort of shit dubstep we were referring too. Of course there's still good releases, not heard anything groundbreaking as of late though. If you have then I'd be curious to know... But I suspect you'll play the arrogant card and pretend you know better without caring to prove it XD.
One thing I hate about US music scene is that it is usually dated by the time we get a chance to hear what was going on in the UK and abroad. Too much blockage on the charts to keep new music from entering/invading our listening space (30-40 somethings with money and older folks keeping things stagnant with crappy pop they like and sell to the younger people). Man was making beats when in middle school I was (2001). Damn! This is the stuff to use subwoofers with.
***** I like UK dnb. the best dub is Jamaican. Grime is god awful genre, UK MC's have a long way before the come close to mastering the art of rapping. where is dubstep now??? jumped ship? trap? house? forgotten?

late answer, but listen to Untrue by Burial. that album is abslolutely amazing, and is a huge achievement in dubstep. the brostep producers took the nice, acclaimed subgenre and raped it, while milking every last drop of money out of it. the new music they produce since like 2011/2(skrillex and etc) is just violent soulless noise.

@Remix039 step reffers to the 2-step garage genre which dubstep emergates from, I think they added the step part because dubstep is using a half time drum pattern (I think it's because the first step is a kick and the second one is either a snare or a clap).
Forgot the name to this song for the longest fucking time. Got to love waking up and it clicking in your head off the back. Promises to be a good fucking day.
Lovely debate mates. From what i know, I thought the prodigy is part of the "big beat" movement which was popular in the 90s, along with the chem bros and FBS. It uses breakbeats, but the BPM tends to be slower and contains elements of acid house, like the TB-303 I believe?
Stop hating on Skrill everyone. This is what makes electronic and music so great, no two people sound exactly the same. And electronic artists write the music they want. Sums up being off your face if anything.
Absolutely classic track. If dubstep were classical music, Rutten by Skream would be Requiem in D Minor!
Masterpiece. Makes me proud to be a Londoner.
