I found a Mercy using cheats last night, didn't realize they were cheating because they weren't doing anything, but I wanted to look at something in the replay, and saw them clearly using cheats, but they looked like a bot from their perspective. It was weird af.

I believe you get banned as well if you're pocketing a cheater. Based on the way they were pocketing them, they were probably duo'd.
I hate being in lower ranks. It is 100% genuinely no one caring about the cheaters in games. They just want to rank up. And what’s worse is, as a mercy main, I get dogged on by my team for existing because of Mercy’s like this.
QP is like this too. Had a guy BLATANTLY spinbotting in the lobby, only hitting headshots. Called him out and everyone was like "shut up it's just QP". Happens all the time.

People in really low ranks tend to either not be able to tell someone is cheating because they skip kill cams or because it seems bonkers that someone would be cheating in a bronze/silver game. This was pretty egregious tho and how his team defended him is wild.

genuinely i do not blame them for not beleiving their zen/lucio was hacking, (up until spinbotting)
i had a soldier pop off constantly, and people were insisting that he was aimbotting, and i watched the footage back in slow speed, and the dudes aim was atrocious and could barely keep his reticle on a target. he was carrying, but no where NEAR aimbot or even smurf levels.
if people think THAT is aimbotting, i have a hard time believing ANY hackusations even if they have god tier aim and are single handedly carrying the game.
its different in diamond and above because people are more experienced, and can see hackers being a bit too mechanically gifted, while having bronze level positioning, but plat and under? both of these things are gone, not to mention its harder to tell if its "your team is literally standing still" or "the enemy team has a good player"

I mean I posted a game on jays discord a little while ago were there was a cheater on each team rage hacking and both getting pocketed by a mercy. Low diamond ranked match. I was the only one in the lobby who said I was going to report and called them out instantly. Both my team and other were both try harding with 2 OBVIOUS rage hackers. If you group of help cheaters you should get banned the same.
Its common in low elo for people to not care about cheaters, the enemy team would not throw/draw the game for them even if they knew.

Destroyer reminds me of the old day cod cheaters, able to spawn stuff in and give people cheats, it's pretty weird, and usually you just had to watch a cod replay for them because you could have cheaters on any console.

I think they should bring mmr (or whatever it is in ow) rollback to overwatch. Like if a cheater gets banned even after the match, you get back what you lost. That's what they do in r6s and I don't see how it wouldn't work in ow also

I don't know if it's possible in ow but the cheaters might not have bought skins. I know in other games you can have unlock all skins cheats. People cheating that have dev only skins for example.
