Completed it today !! loved it but I think there are few moments where the time was wasted. Over all I loved it lots of tips learnt and feels like all that time spent was worth it ♥ !!

This speedrun is amazing! There might be a possible time save with building the Fission Reactor. It doesn´t need all those machines for the fissile fuel. You can directly import sulfur dust into the Chemical Dissolution Chamber, it is automatically converted to Sulfuric Acid - > Import Fluorite -> Hydrofluoric Acid. Only 4 machines needed for the fissile fuel.

Hey Alfred, Have you ever considered doing an ATM7 To the Sky playthrough? Really looking forward to ATM9 episodes... They changed up a decent amount from ATM8
I've thought about it, but I'm not into sky packs normally. I tried playing it before, wasn't my thing! However, ATM9 should be fun!

The crafter upgrades should be sufficient by itself in the mekanism setup, the crafter upgrade will keep crafting as long as there is space for it, so for things like the infusing factories just the crafting upgrade is needed

Begginer question: Is The Mining Dimension a good place to set a base? Its game descripton says that it is as long as it does not get reset often. What does that mean?
No mobs but it’s super flat. You can setup a base there, no issues if you do.
If youre in a server it can get reset since its not the ‘main’ dimension

For the piglitch, i like to use a builder to clear the building. Then you usually get 8 at a time

Hi, I'm trying to play ATM8, but there are different crafts to yours, like the one with the drawers. They make me with 1 chest and 8 pieces of wood, so just putting the chest on the crafting table transforms it into a drawe. Why?
This was recently changed in the following update.

I used RS for the entire run, and always have.
oh nice! no problem with lag or anything? i thought that you "had" to use ae2 for the end-game stuff cuz rs lag or crushed when you start having mill of items @@AlfredGGMC
It's all just a mob mentality saying things that aren't true, for the most part. I have never run into lag problems, as long as you don't put NBT stuff in your system.

@@AlfredGGMCEven the NBT thing is overblown. I purposely corrupted a world. It took an inordinate amount of apotheosis gear to do so. In a normal playthrough you won’t come close to that amount. Even if it’s a long term world.
Any ideas why in ATM9, I cant change the pickup selection on danks?

You need to roll the apotheosis modifiers that make you one shot things. You need %HP, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage. Then throw on a good %HP gem and you'll kill anything.
and I would fly 1000 blocks and I would fly 1000 more just to find the pyramid I need to get those mobs.

Make a guided run on ATM 9 please i would watch every second of it the atm 8 guided run was amazing i wish you continued that instead of the speed run but now i am playing atm 9 and i would love to watch a guided run from the expert himself on it

I use 12gb, but I also use Java args and optimize it.

You know you can just pick up and move and replace the blocks for the everbright portal right? It'll still spark up all the same... but I guess it doesn't matter when you waystone it anyways...

@@AlfredGGMC Happy to help! (same applies to everdawn portal too) For some reason my first instinct was to move them somewhere more convenient, like next to all my other portals lol
So and cool a bunch things can be done to optimize it i would guess halving the time is feasible :D
Go for it! My last run was 30 hours, and this one was ~23. If you can do it faster without cheating/exploits, record it and let me see!

why gregtech-shit was added to ATM9
Your enriched recipes were fucking up because you were ordering enriched redstone/carbon, then going to the machine and taking the output before it got into the ME system, so the crafts were never finishing. Grab them from the system instead of the machines!

I would have absolutely loved to, but at the current speed, it would have taken ~8 months and that's just not feasible.
