This was truly the slowest burn of all Monogatari. I felt like this was so pointless after the perfect ending of Owari 2, but by the end of the second episode it gets better and better. And by this ending scene, you realize Monogatari has TWO perfect endings.
The first ending was about accepting your faults, and the second ending was about moving past them. You can't do the later without doing the former, like how Araragi needed Ougi (the representation of his self criticism) to help him get out of the mirror world. Each Monogatari arc was about dealing with some form of personal baggage, and while it all built together to form the whole story, I think each arc had it's own lesson to consider seperately.

Zoku Owarimonogatari is a fantastic full stop to the entire Monogatari series. All along Araragi had been helping others out while accumulating his own regrets. He did his best, but, being the imperfect entity he was, he couldn't be fully satisfied with what he had done thus far. Still, Araragi had been observing his companions throughout the series, and as Owarimonogatari came to a close, it's time for Araragi to look at himself with the manifestation of Oshino Ougi. Zoku acts as a good finisher in rounding everything up, in which Araragi took the effort to uncover the issues that he had been missing out on throughout the story - the remaining 20% of humanity that he failed to resolve as he walked to this very day. Only when he recognized and accepted this remaining part would the entire Monogatari be fully covered, that is the moment when Araragi acknowledged each and every fiber of himself.

There's still off seasons and the monster seasons that can be animated and Shaft already said they'll animate all Nisio Isin's works and not just the main season, Let's let shaft do it's thing bcs there is a lot of preparing for this off/monster seasons so let's wait and have some patience, It's not yet the end for monogatari

I dropped the anime because it was soooooo long, I mean not the episodes I can watch that many episodes or all of it but the story for me is just too long and I got impatient so I need support to finish it and watch it. I'm already at Bakemonogatari Season 2 I skipped the Prequels because it's too long so yeah I hope you guys can tell me a Better way to watch it
Just watch it at the novel order, If you skip you'll just get spoiled a ton, If you want to, you can do what I did too by watching one arc/story a day, I didn't miss nothing and I still remember and recollect my previous thoughts on the last arc, it's one of my top 10 shows rn and every rewatch of it gives me a new experience and speaking of rewatch maybe rewatch the bakemonogatari since you prob dropped it bcs this comment is 1 month ago but still rewatch it my dude, this is the best advice i can give you (idk why you got bored of kizu thou i admit part 1 was meh bcs of pacing dialogue got axed and 50% are scenery, but part 2 and 3 did a good job maybe try continuing it if you dropped it bcs of part 1)
