I met Iasos in 1980 at an outdoor concert he staged in Palo Alto, California and then met him at a well-known bookstore in Menlo Park that same year. I love his "Inter-Dimensional Music"! He is one of a dozen or so synth keyboard masters who have enriched my life - Vangelis, Kitaro, Ray Lynch, Jean-Michel Jarre, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Michael Stearns, Constance Demby, Bernard Xolotl, and Jan Hammer, and there are others who are also great artists.
And what he did in life echoes across eternity. Thank you for mentioning, I was still unaware. Although learning that while midway into listening to Angel of Comfort really hits with some magnitude.
Thank you Iasos. You are a visionary soul who's good works will not be confined by the paltry mortal boundary. May the boundless beneficence of All That Is love you as I have loved you and always will. Thank you.
Everything this unheralded Greek genius released was absolutely flawless as far as I'm concerned. These shimmering, ethereal sounds take you to the blindingly-bright heart of the ever-spiralling empyrean in a few mere moments. Once again thank you for your phenomenal work my friend, never stop sharing these irrefutable hidden treasures! Best channel on RUclips by far! 💙
Some years back I saw Iasos do a presentation on his whole deal (the collaborator spirit that he channels, the effects of certain sounds he has built, etc), he’s a wild dude. Love his videos (especially the newer ones)
Probably because ~the first wave of new age music (before 1979) sounds more like modern ambient and drone, even dark ambient (or vice versa). As a dark ambient fan I'm not into new age too, but I like some of the earliest releases a lot; no contradiction IMO.

He lives forever, thanks Iasos for all you gave us!

One of the most auspicious & incredible pieces of music this century

💜IasoS💜
Iasos means a healer.......
Very soothing though I must say that Inner Space album by Voices of Silence you put out a while back blew me away ( they have three more apparently)
It all started with Louis & Bebe Barron with FORBIDDEN PLANET in 1956.
as far as I can tell, this address was a houseboat in the Sausalito marina?
35:55-37:45, 44:45-46:44 highest vibrational frequencies
His music is difficult to compare with any other. This is a completely different view of what is happening.
It reminded me of David Helpling's "A Sea Without Memory" album.
Why difficult? Try John Tavener - Funeral Canticle
@@any_username Hope you're doing well ...
@@kotleta4634 Thanks man, you too - keep safe 🤝

I’m guessing Iasos died recently 😮
