All actors are really excellent. But the main characters are simply excellent. What a masterpiece !

If I didn't read the novel later I would never even notice or consider her masculine features particularly. She was just a girl to me. They got banned by homophobic Chinese government. The actors are not allowed to appear in the same series ever again. They didn't manage to broadcast the last 3 episodes as well.

Thank you. This series, even though it was not completed, what was done was well worth the watch. I hope someday it will get a happy completion. Very good acting and story. It was funny, dramatic, romantic, and everything in between.

In a way Bai Luoyin made Gu Hai gay and in turn Gu Hai made Bai Luoyin gay. If the two of them didn’t meet, they would have probably lead a straight life. Even if they have met as stepbrothers first, they wouldn’t have fallen in love.
I think they would have...I can see it now....the parents put them in a room and introduce them...GH goes nuts....ok ok!!!! I change my mind...I will happily live with this new step brother...GH basically fell in love with BLY at first sight....they are destined for each other.

It was Bai Luoyin’s beautiful handwriting that intrigued him at first, and then the fact that Bai Luoyin was always late to school and always sleeping in class but still managed to be one of the best students in class fascinated him and made him want to know more about Bai Luoyin’s home life. If the parents introduced them to each other, Gu Hai wouldn’t have had this fascination with Bai Luoyin.
@@spanishvideoclub4901 I respectfully disagree. I think he was intrigued by him more than just his handwriting. I think it was latent/subconscious physical attraction. That and I think I think its bly attitude and his essence/aura that attracted gh. I do concede it might not have been instantaneous, it might have taken 10 minutes. I think they are basically written as magnets for each other, with superhuman love. Bly may have taken a little longer but even before they were fooling around, bly allowed gh to sleep in his bed and spent almost 24 7 with him. Their love was as inevitable as the day turning night.

According to Hu Hai, the handwriting belonged to a carefree person but BLY was not. After being intrigued by his handwriting, Gu Hai came close and examined BLY’s face and thought that there was nothing special about the individual features but together it made a “unique” face. Physical attraction came much later when one night he woke up in the middle of the night, looking at BLY’s face and had the desire to touch. Everything before was mostly driven by his fascination for BLY and BLY’s home life, especially for the fact that BLY didn’t have a mother just like him, and it somewhat made him want to love and care for BLY, to fill that void in BLY’s life. So if they were introduced by their parents, almost all of those fascinations wouldn’t exist.
On BLY’s side it was different though. He knew Gu Hai was rich to begin with, and You Qi told him Gu Hai liked him, so even though the book didn’t explicitly say it, BLY went into this knowing he was being courted, causing him to resist, which fueled Gu Hai’s fascination even further.

I still think based on the way the books are written, that their love is almost supernatural in force their relationship is destiny, and that if they had been introduced by their parents, their passion for each other still would have developed. But regardless of our differing opinion, it's nice to speak with someone else who loves this couple.

Can the writers and directors of HISTORY TAIWANESE SERIES pick up this drama and cast Taiwanese actors for us please bc it’s been 5 years and I’m still stuck in 2016 with this drama and I feel heartbroken when I think about it. QTTV why???😞😞 Also Johnny Huang’s acting and Timmy Xu’s were the perfect characters I just want an end to this story, I read the book over 10 times and I always keep this drama in my heart and mind ,I just want Taiwan or Thailand to complete the story even if China is homophobic and won’t let the original actors act together, we can at least have something. You can cast Ohm Pawat,Nanon,Patpasit,Cooper, Chris Wu from History trapped ,Wayne Song from history MODC, Huang Juan just plsss we need something. But I want Taiwan to produce it more bc they’ll be more serious. Thai BLS are mass produced so much they might not be serious about it and it’ll be disappointing but at this point I’ll take anything please or even Thailand please make a version of this series and pay the writer. If you want me to pay for access to the drama after y’all produce it , I’ll gladly do so I just want the story to end

Based on the Book 2 of the novel, You Qi kept an unsent love letter for Bai Luo Yin.
He became an actor. He invited Bai Luo Yin, Gu Hai and Yang Meng to the screening of their film. Gu Hai was reluctant but he never wanted Bai Luo Yin to go alone so he came anyway. During the presscon, You Qi was asked if he had ever have an unsent love letter. He said yes. He confessed that it's for his friend. He was supposed to give it with the apple -shaped accessory but he lacked courage to do so. He even said that today is his friend's birthday. It's pretty obvious that he is referring to Bai Luo Yin. Gu Hai was pinching Bai Luo Yin. He was very jealous.🤣 All of a sudden, Yang Meng naively shouted at Bai Luo Yin. "Bai Luo Yin it is for you!". Everyone suprisingly looked at Bai Luo Yin.🤣🤣🤣 That's so hilarious.
