My 4 months chow chow just passed 5 minutes ago. I am crying so hard right now. She fought distemper for 4 or 5 days now. We did not missed giving her medication and still she was not able to survive this fckng distemper. I am hoping that there is heaven or paradise for our furbabies who was no longer with us. Right now, I can't forgive myself. Can't even stop crying

It’s been a month my dog (Homer) suffering canine distamper he is under medication from the last month during the day he doesn’t cry a lot but at night he cry a lottt that our family can’t sleep and him too and his voice has changed too. 2 days before he was able to walk little bit and eats a lot but now he can’t walk anymore now he is laying next to me I used to hug and cry praying to God for his recovery I use to travel and work so couldn’t give much time my mom and dad took care of him 24/7 that they don’t do there works properly. Seeing him laying down and can’t walk really hurt’s me months ago he used to run and play with me. God why is this happening to them they are innocent 😭😭😭

My dog is currently having a distemper and i couldn’t afford any medications what should i do? Im also starting to follow this video’s advice despite my low budget, i already spent a lot for my dog’s check up and im starting to get concerned because she started coughing and vomiting, she eats and eats all she can, im feeling guilty for not taking care of her enough that she starts having this sickness.

I feel the same way , my dog is also showing a lot of symptoms but the test came negative,, i am really concerned about him , he just sleeps for the whole day and wakes up for a little while 😢

There's no cure. This video acts like there is. There's treatments but it's more for comfort. Once they get it. No going back.

Just to inform you. We have a dog who got neurological phase of distemper. Dog was very bad affected. We gave him GISKAN, russian antibodies for distemper, parvo... It saved our dog. Also, we have donated other GISKANs that have left. It has saved another dog from parvo. Dog was very very ill, and as our vet said in no time, after two doses dog came back in normal. In Serbia it costs 15e. It WORKS!!!! If your dog is ill from these illness, search for GISKAN! Search for this, it will help your dog!

My two dogs who had it survived.. they are running as before, eats too.. all as before.. one has neurological issue, but it is nothing compared what was with her... she could not walk, see the space, she would fall, shake head... now except little twitches she is more than fine

My dog die yesterday the doctor said its distemper virus. Im so sad that i dont know anything about this virus, now i left with 1 dog which is a dachshund dog. I hope he will not be infected too of that virus.🙏

My puppy died last night from distemper, with symptoms developing after the vaccine was administered along with rabies vaccine and two others. The combo vaccine was probably too much on him, and he suffered for weeks from distemper. And they tried to make us believe he got it from something else, despite it being “very rare.” The timeline all pointed to his vaccination date. His only exposure to anything that would’ve remotely carried distemper was the vaccine. It was supposed to be his third and final shot, but we suspect the over vaccination weakened his ability to build immunity, and now he’s gone.

One of my dog passed yesterday, I have 2 more dogs that are showing signs of Distemper. what home meds can I give them.
My dogs have distemper.. I do this: .crush 1 Tylenol tablet and dissolve it into 1 tsp of water. I rub this all over their belly and hope it gets absorbed into the skin. If your dog will swallow a Tylenol tablet, then that's even better, good, too. Next rub Ivermectin paste/gel on top of her tummy. Rub in about a a half tsp for a real small dog, 1 tsp for a dog about 15-20 lbs. ... medium size dog about 20-30, and if your dog is bigger I'd give 1tsp per every 5 lbs. As soon as the fever goes down and the dog wants to eat, beat up some raw whole eggs (no egg shells)...start with two eggs for a 15 lb dog, then add one egg per 10 lbs. If you have some protein digestive enzymes, mix some into the eggs. Lastly, if you think that your dog needs antibiotics mix some into a tsp of water till it dissolves and then rub that onto the tummy 2 or three times a day. If the dog can swallow the antibiotic pills, that's better. The Ivermectin should be rubbed in 3 times a day, and the Tylenol can be used as needed for the fever ...2 or 3 times a day. Be consistent. You must be consistent until your dog has been well for at least a week . Good luck and I pray that your dog's recover. ❤
I was devastated and I cried so hard when I learned that my 4-year old dog (11.5 kg) Japanese Spitz was diagnosed with blood parasitism and distemper.The vet gave her the following:
Doxycycline tablet -1 tablet/day
Liv.52- 1 tablet 2x a day
Emerplex -3ml daily for maintenance to prevent seizures and neurological problems
Immuno pet shield-3ml once a day
Papi bion syrup-4ml once a day
Nacalvit syrup-4ml once a day
Enorfloxacillin -1 1/2 tablet daily
Actually ,I got 3 dogs in our house so all of them are undergoing medication
I hope they will all survive and recover and will never show any neurological problems 🙏

Can someone help? We have a 2-month old puppy who was diagnosed positive on distemper. On the first weeks since we got him, he only got cough. After a few days of injecting him with Canglob D, he was fine. The cough stopped and was playing around.
Then all suddenly, 3 days ago, he is experiencing seizures 😭. We immediately took him to the vet and was confined.
Now, as per his vet, his condition is not good. Although, his seizure lessen but he is quiet, lethargic, could not stand and loss his appetite.
We are about to discharge him from the clinic because we could not afford the bill anymore there. We plan to take care of him at home and we will do anything but we don't know how. Can anyone please advise??

Can anyone help me out please! My dog has had her first litter, a huge litter of 11 puppies....they r 5 1/2 weeks old and one of the pups i believe 💯 has distemper. The vet kept saying that they want to give him charcoal to bind anything that is lethal he ingested, long story short they thought the 5 week old pup ingested marijuana and so I had marijuana toxin...BUT I don't have marijuana! I don't smoke weed so there would be no weed in my home! It doesn't make sense to me why does the puppy have green eye boogies and a high fever if it was weed?! Like seriously?!!! So ive been watching an amazing dog trainer by the name of Dog Daddy, and he has an actual pack of German shepherds and he shared the video of his dog passing away due to distemper. So when the puppy was walking wobbly and falling over and when the body kept arching to the side and he only wants to lay on his side he no longer wants to move, and his eyes dart in different directions I knew what time it was.... The vet can think its marijuana till he's blue in the face, but with all those signs and symptoms along with green eye boogers and a high fever, the 5 week old puppy can't even walk or even pick his head up I'm calling it now that it's distemper! The truly tragic thing is the puppies aren't even old enough to get their first set of shots! These are beautiful German Shepherd puppies they are so sweet and all of them are highly intelligent and I've been helping to raise them along with my mama furbaby so they are like my own children. Only one that's currently showing signs, hoping that someone on here has any kind of advice that I could do or buy or give this 5 week old puppy for a fighting Chance. The vet also told me that distemper so rare and then his assistant butted in and said in her 11-year career she has never seen distemper. I know it's out only one has it right now but who knows if the others aren't going to be showing signs also if it's not just a what is making the puppy so lifeless and sick?! And of course it had to be the runt of the litter the one that I have hand-fed from day one- I refused to let him die and he's a fighter I named him "Johnny 5" after he survived his first two weeks. Some of you won't understand the name because I'm 42, but there is a movie that was back in the 80s called Short circuit and the robot's name was Johnny 5, and after Johnny 5 was to be disassembled, he ended up living and yelling over and over "johnny 5 is alive!!! The name stuck with ever since, but here we are 3 1/2 Weeks later 😭. So if anyone has any advice please let me know!! And im gonna bame drop the Vets office that is claiming that distemper is to rare for this pup to get it and so theu diagnosed him with something that is completely impossible ..marijuana toxin... I am presently treating two dogs at home with this demon distemper. Our budget is really short to provide for the medication or treatment that they needed because we already provide for 12 dogs in all and 17 cats for their food. I don't know where to go to find help and seek donations as people here are narrow-minded, especially those who do not love animals that they judge rescuers like us as scammers, only after people's money. We voluntarily take care of them and spend from our own pockets for their food. It's the medical expenses or treatment we ran short of.😢😢😢

My dog is suffering from canine distemper and its been more than a week she has eaten nothing , she sometimes drinks water . She is a stray dog and i cant keep her away from ither stray dogs ...i dont know what to do . Doctors gave 7-5 medicines but i can't give her all as she's not opening her mouth and bitting when I'm forcing . She's been given drips daily and thats all she's having as immune . Also she's nit even sitting or sleeping , shes just roaming aroung in circle and standing all the time

@@jzenon13 she sadly passed away on july 17 :/ she had a seizure and she wouldn’t walk anymore. the vet was closed so we couldn’t put her down and so she had to suffer all night and passed at 11:30 pm

The breain is inflamed and goves the dog a massive headache. If your vet wouldn't prescribe pain medication, there's nothing else to to, I'm sorr your dog didn't make it through....most dogs don't survive distemper 😢😢😢😫😭🙏

@@kanchanpandey6609 actually our dog is fortunate he didnt experience vomiting ang diarrhea. All we did are give him meds (depending on dog size ours is small) antibiotic 1x a day 1ml, immunol 2x 1ml each, bcomplex 1x 1ml, abscorbic acid 1x 1ml and if the dog has fever/flu we give him broncare. Give water with dextrause powder to your dog and if your dog cant eat on his own, force feed your dog. Give your dog chicken liver or any recovery foods.

Dogs with distemper can be aggressive and dangerous. I knew someone who lost a large portion of his face to a really great dog who happened to be sick with distemper. So don't get in the animals face like we see over and over in the video. Protect your face, fingers, hands and keep your children away from the dog especially when the animal is experiencing tremors or chasing it tail .

@@vaibhavhande24 I managed to heal my dog fully after taking rigorous care for 1 month. She survived, luckily. She recovered fully from her death bed where she could not breathe and every second I thought 'is she alive still'? But she is still in quarantine. I haven't let her out of one room (it has balcony towards main road so she can watch outside, see people and bark at others/dogs/cats). We have 5 more dogs so cannot risk letting her out. She just had her babies when she caught the disease, and after one month of her recovery, she ran from the room (when I accidentally forgot to lock while I went to cook her food) and due to this, one of her puppies got the disease and passed away the very next day. Since then, I don't let her out. The room she stays locked in, is my room.
@@vaibhavhande24 maybe she survived because she is an indie streetie that I adopted from streets, as she was almost in the verge of dying due to malnutrition and skin conditions when we found her. Might've been less than 2 month old. It's the 2nd time, she survived. She has survival will.
My 2 dogs had parvor virus at 2 months.. they both survived and now are a year old and one of the 2 has been diagnosed with distemper.. the other is fine i seperated the little girl who is sick.. but i hope she can fight this tragic virus.. she survived parvovirus.. how can she have it if her and her brother had all there shots.. no vomiting no diarrhoea or coughing.. walking funny but she just ate lots.. i hope she comes out on top i will get what gave them with pav.. virus fed them both with a syringe..
Try cleaning your water bowls for the puppies, rat's piss on stillwater are one of the major causes for parvo sadly 😢
What food can i feed for my dog suffering from this virus, my vet advised me to stop feeding for 48 hrs with some medications... I'm feeling sad to see my dog feeling hungry..
