We travelled through that in 1964 on our way home. Just met my boyfriend and had to say goodbye after a week. Now husband of 54 years . Sang him a Beatles song close your eyes

I've still not seen this tunnel despite living in Ventnor, mainly because it's so creepy I need to go with lots of friends, and I keep missing when they go and do it!

Hiya. If you do, it is best to access it via the Ventnor end as the North portal is on private land, although we we're not aware of this at the time of filming (it wasn't signed). It is quite spooky in there that's for sure 👻.
