Just picked about $200 in Cold Steel knives on clearance at Midway. Thanks for the heads up (from your Karve video).

Thank you a bunch, Stilleto! I didn't know i could get Mayhem in S35VN or Engage in CTS XHP! I really, really want those two! I would have saved my Original Goat scales for CTS XHP if I knew I could!

The CTS-XHP, Limited, Edition Engage is sweet; I have one in my Collection. :-)
But, I like my Standard, CPM-S35VN Model more, with the OG Scale and Skiff's Kit... :-)
The Limited is still available. I do like it better than the Standard CPM-S35VN and G-10 Model, if you choose to carry a Stock Model. :-)
But, the one I like to carry, and not Collect, is the Standard with the OG, Aluminum, Scale and Skiff Bearings Kit... :-)
The CPM-S35VN MidwayUSA.com Exclusive Blacked or Murdered Out Limited Edition Mayhem is "Awesome!!!" :-)
If you been wanting a Mayhem, I'd get this one... And, I might... I want... I just think the Mayhem is so, "SEXY!!!" :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

That would absolutely, "ROCK!!!" :-) Or, get BladeScales.com to make some Micarta and G-10 Options in Various Colors... There are a lot of my Cold Steel Favorites I would like to see this happen for. I absolutely agree! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Yes!!! :-) That's what I've been trying to tell everyone about the OG Kit for the 3.5" Blade Engage. The OG Kit Transforms your Engage into a Super Smooth, Strong, and Fidgety Custom Engage; it takes the Engage to the Next Level!!! :-) Right on! Enjoy!!! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

How do you like the KARVE? It's become one of my favorites. I think the Atlas-Lock works best when the Folder has at least a 3.5" Blade or larger. Why? The Handle ends up being the right size for the Atlas-Lock, in my opinion. I'll bet that the Swift III will be the perfect size for the Atlas-Lock... And, Cold Steel has made a lot of great Folders and Fixed Blades you can depend on; it's a great journey to go on, if you absolutely luv Serious Heavy Use Blades that you can depend on, that are affordable. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@Kris_Stiletto I really like it, it's my first Atlas-Lock. I like how you take a stock knife and make it better than it was new. Take care, looking forward to more videos from the wild wild west.

    • @Kris_Stiletto
      @Kris_Stiletto  11 дней назад +2

That is an awesome Folder. And, it's even more awesome that you picked one of my personal new favorites to be your first Atlas-Lock Folder! :-)
I personally think this is the best one to start with. Due to its initial cost and size. :-)
What I mean by size, I think the Atlas-Lock shines best when used in Folders with 3.5" Blades or larger. Why? The Atlas-Lock works best to me, in larger Handles... :-) When the Handle is too short, they become more awkward to use, easily.
I have been carrying mine everyday; I think it's "Awesome!!!" Enjoy! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Fun video, I am fascinated by the Cold Steel products, the big knives, though I doubt that I will purchase one for anything other than for collecting. I live in Arizona, I carry an S&W 9mm Shield for self defense and a 3 to 4 inch blade folding budget pocket for opening packages. Great channel, liked and subscribed.

@@Kris_Stiletto Awesome and Thanks. I don't see a number on the blade like the original LE Mayhem. Perhaps it's located in a different place. I already have two of the red/black LE Mayhems (#171, #187) and caught the Aus-10 version off Amazon for $135. I'm itching to pull the trigger on the blackout version but I wanted to see a production run # on the blade. Crazy deal for S35VN at $265 and the Aus-10 version is still at $240. Did you grab the blackout version?

Like you, I am tempted. I already have the Red & Black CPM-S35VN and two AUS-10A Mayhems; one I customized. So, I don't need another. And, I am waiting to see if they release the Swift III. So, I've been saving my extra funds for that one. :-)
But, I must admit, I would like to get my hands on the MidwayUSA.com Exclusive, too... If I do, it will be next month, if they still exist... There's a thousand. So, I think they may still be around through next month... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@mrsliver45 Maybe, I am wrong... I assumed it would be numbered, since it's limited to a 1000. I don't have one, yet. So, after what you've told me, I cannot say for sure. I will try to find out. If I do find out for sure, I will let you know. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Just went and talked to MidwayUSA, and they didn't know. So, they gave me a number at GSM, Cold Steel to call and find out. I called GSM, and they didn't know if it is numbered, also. The GSM, Customer Service Person I spoke to, said I should assume it's not numbered...
I still want one. But, I can take my time now since there's no rush to get a low number... That's what I found. So, I am going to assume they don't. When I get one, I will let everyone know. I hope this helps you out. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
