This was a really great build and nice to see your take on creating a campervan.
When I was a child in the 70's, my Dad DIY'd a van into a camper. How I would love to have one now! Awesome job on yours and thanks for reminding me of a special time!

When I saw the Allen wrenches I thought that you were going to have fiddly little bolts to deal with...But No! You used them as pins to hold the outdoor prep surface...Genius! I'm sure we all have loads of them kicking around (I have a bag full of them in my workshop) and that is a great use for them.
What can I say, I'm stealing that idea...I don't know what for yet but I'm sure it will come in handy.
I have a small camper that I'm fixing up and some of these storage ideas would work great for this thank you for the inspiration 💙

Great video guys. I’m quite partial to a busy bit of upholstery, especially against the clean look of the plywood.

You've done a great job, but no loo? If you're traveling around I'd say that's essential! There again I'm female and don't have the plumbing for outdoor... erm, toileting. If you can fit a camping toilet in a proper T1, you could have gotten one in that van for sure, maybe under the sofa/bed area?

No way would that bed be sufficient for my bones but I love the overall concept. Ideally if I ever got to make one of these I'd try to get an eco friendly mattress by birch or made by myself and be thicker. But that'd be a costly addition
Amazing van build! Did you guys by chance track the pricing/costs as you built? Toying with the idea of a van build myself and wondering what kind of budget I should be expecting.
Thank you! We didn't sadly, we did have every intention, but we did end up losing track admittedly. It definitely could have been done cheaper, but we're pretty confident the money that has gone into it would easily be made back with a bit more on top if it comes to selling it (not that we ever plan to!)

I live with my daughter and her friend and my children were raised to recycle but no one recycles here I wash all of the plastic and it wouldn't be hard to separate by the recycle number so if you ever need plastic clean plastic just ask and leave it in the comments 😊
Men u guys are the best got the van that’s what I was looking for and see if I can go camping and explore to venture and I’m still collecting bottle, calves and shotguns shells for fun with bullets and I’m looking forward to it

Nice build will last you till2030 when the c40 ulez ban on private vehicle ownership will come into force so till then happy motering
