Adam Butts you are so right! Today's world is violently messed up. The gospel is rarely preached today, and sin is acceptable and rampant in many churches. I am afraid that people see God as a cosmic Santa Claus and think he doesn't require obedience anymore. They think I'll just sin all the more and God will still let them into Heaven. Sadly most of these people will end up in Hell. To me I want Heaven more than anything else. So suddenly marriage seems the least of my concerns!
@@lolavelmar2996 It can be, for certain people. I have been in a Terrible narcissistic relationship. Being single, rather than caught up with that, would Definitely have been a blessing!! It's up to the individual to use their season, or even lifetime, of singleness, as a positive. Or you can use it as a negative, too. But that will just waste the period that God had set aside for you.
Sometimes people in the church judge others for their sins and push them away from God. The Bible says not to let man make you feel inferior for your sins. Everyone sins and all sins are equal, and judging someone for their sins and keeping them from God because of your judgement is a sin on another person.
Mmmmmm you shouldn't be willing to trust anyone right away. Your focus should always be on Jesus. You should never glorify or praise people per se. People will always be people regardless. my problem is... is that I don't know how to let go and trust God. My way always gets in God's way. I feel pressured because I'm turning 37. I won't even let God dig my heart. This is exactly what I needed to hear. Now I see why I don’t feel ready for marriage. I’m afraid to destroy my future husband. I have to let go of the spirit of offense. Forgiving is hard but I’ve been letting go of the pain for the past years.

You deserve to have a husband in your life and you don't deserve the hurt and pain,. You have to give that all to God daily, until you are emptied and then filled again. I didnt get through the whole video yet buttt I just wanted to share that a few years ago, while I was in the middle of a really bad situation, I prayed and told God that I did not like being single and that I couldnt for the life of me see it as a blessing. I know some people are called to it and I know for sure I am not one of those people lol. But I also asked God to help me to be content while I am here and to see the fun in it. Because if He purposes for me to be here for a little while it would make sense to not only learn and grow in this season but to also have fun. Years later I am enjoying my time being single. God blessed me with three amazing friends that I can travel with, go places with, talk to all day long, and just have a good time. All from church. One of them is married but she imparts so much wisdom in us about waiting on God for marriage and being patient for His best. I believe that when the time is right God will send the right man into my life. And when that time comes our marriage will bring glory to God and fufill what its supposed to fufill. In the mean time I pray that I will continue to keep having fun as a christian and to enjoy my single season and not rush it.

I thought I knew what I wanted in a man, and everytime I got what I had wanted I still felt empty. So one day I prayed, I really cried out to God and asked God to bless me with the man who he thought was right for me, not who I thought was right for me. Three months later, I met the man God had wanted me to be with. His mother had prayed for the exact same thing ("God send my son the woman you think is right for him") Two prayers connected us. We are now happily married. He has a heart of gold, very handsome and tall. It is not about the looks but what I am trying to say is that God really blessed me with more than I could have even imagined. God's plans were far more greater ethan my own! Never ever forget that! One major thing is to also have forgiveness from past relationships, good or bad, forgive and move on, these two things will allow for God to work wonders into your life. God has many blessings and we just need to be open to recieve them. Your words have the power to control your life, your words can either curse you or bless you. You are a child of God our King, which makes you my darling royalty! God has a Prince waiting for you! Believe that your Godly man is coming, the power is in your mouth and your thoughts, by trusting in the Lord with all your heart, he will indeed bless you.
You are speaking so much truth Ally. I can’t expect to be in a relationship when I’m still dealing with the baggage of my past. I’ve always loved my singleness but I’ve been subject to ‘planning’ and walking in offence and other sinful nature. Dear Ally, I have a lot of struggles that most of them are similar to yours. Im 30 and i think im ready for commitment. But, when i saw this video of yours, i am certain that to be a wife is not just a title, there is a lot of things in my life, a lot of attitude of mine that have to change in order for me to carry the responsibility of being a wife and a mother in the future. Like you, i also set a time frame of my life, which did not turn out the way i expect it to be. I had several relationships that all of them were not i truly in love with. So the entire time watching this I'm thinking "I will send this to so and so..because I'm definitely good on this!.." But towards the end of the video God revealed that I'm not in offense by ALL men..just black men..Those are the men I can't trust..I'm always thinking to date outside my race because I've been hurt so much by them...thru my brothers, father, uncles..I'm always thinking why can't they just " man up??" ..thank you for this Ally! I've recently begun working through my offenses with men. I've forgiven my dad for being weak & not protecting me from evil men. I've forgiven my ex for being abusive & violent. I've forgiven my mother who did harm to me and also didn't protect me. YES, we need to work through these issues before God can release us to the person He has for us. Good Word, Sis!

I was also in a destructive relationship now I am single, and I love my freedom. I can do anything I want to do without getting anyone else's approval. I can go sailing, I can go skydiving, I can fly my aeroplane, I can go mountain climbing, I can eat and drink what I like where I like, I can ride my motorcycle, I can travel the world. Yippee for being single! You don't have to follow societies social norms, create your own. It's your wonderful life so be happy living it. PRAISE THE LORD that I found your video. I too was in a seven year that fell apart but I realize now that the moment I re-dedicated my life to God that individual walked out of the relationship. But God is walking with me now and I thank the good Lord He intervened. I needed this... A prophet told me some of the things you spoke on about my life & past. This encouraged me today. I never realized that when connecting with people, you can add something to their lives that shouldn't have been added. Thank you for this video. I have felt this way for awhile in the past and decided to take a break from relationship and just work on my past issues. Things that I need to let go of so that I could begin a new. I just felt like I was carrying a load of hurt on my back and giving some of my bitterness to the people I was in relationship with. So I just stoped and decided the best thing to do was stop and focus on my wounds and even though I do not go to church I do feel God has helped me through all this. I am single not by choice but my boyfriend cheated on me. I learned from it, as I have from every other relationship that I have had (which aren't many). I have a lot of good things happening in my life. Since my dad has been gone to be with God I have been on my own for 2 years. It becomes very tiresome coming home to an empty table but I realize that God loves me and is preparing me for a family of my own. I really want to become a mom but I'm worried I won't be a good mother. I don't want to adopt and do it on my own because that's too hard. It only works when two people are involved. There are times I wonder if I will die alone without anyone to care for me. Yes, I get scared but I have left it up to God to do what He wants. It'll happen when it's meant to.

This video is everything. I've gone through this stage over the past couple of years. After going through an abusive relationship, I hated all men and it was painful working through what I needed to do to let go of that anger. I finally found forgiveness and it's freeing as I was able to change my state of mind and feel okay again. Almost a year later from my lowest point, life has been so much better. I found God on my own and learned mindfulness through therapy. It helped a lot. Thanks for validating what I went through and that I wasn't alone in what I'm sure happens to a lot of us. My current boyfriend has helped me grow into a better woman throughout what I was going through too, and although being single is good as well, I think it's possible to be with someone and go through it also if they are the right person. As you mentioned you do tend to destroy those close to you when all you feel is anger. At points I knew that I needed to be alone. I'm glad we made it through those times though and we have an awesome future ahead!

I am glad that I have watched this today. I feel that God has put you in my feed today. My fiancé proposed to me on Jan 1. I have felt like he has rushed things. I don't like some of the things he has said. I was thinking that we both aren't ready to be married. But I've been blaming him for things. What I really need to do is open up to him about my shortcomings. One major thing is to also have forgiveness from past relationships, good or bad, forgive and move on, these two things will allow for God to work wonders into your life. God has many blessings and we just need to be open to recieve them. Your words have the power to control your life, your words can either curse you or bless you. You are a child of God our King, which makes you my darling royalty! God has a Prince waiting for you! Believe that your Godly man is coming, the power is in your mouth and your thoughts, by trusting in the Lord with all your heart, he will indeed bless you.
You are speaking so much truth Ally. I can’t expect to be in a relationship when I’m still dealing with the baggage of my past. I’ve always loved my singleness but I’ve been subject to ‘planning’ and walking in offence and other sinful nature. I need to destroy or be aware of my damage before God can bring another being into my life and I need to learn to love my fellow male counterparts as well as myself before I can go down the path of marriage. I have a lot of struggles that most of them are similar to yours. Im 30 and i think im ready for commitment. But, when i saw this video of yours, i am certain that to be a wife is not just a title, there is a lot of things in my life, a lot of attitude of mine that have to change in order for me to carry the responsibility of being a wife and a mother in the future. Like you, i also set a time frame of my life, which did not turn out the way i expect it to be. I had several relationships that all of them were not i truly in love with. I was just seeking approval.

Im actually going through this right now Ally. I married a woman i can truly say i loved but when i turned to my father everything I knew was wrong and he took her out of my life. "He giveth and taketh away ". I wish i could have stayed to help her but once she left me things are going crazy and are moving very fast. I am at a crossroads now and i am waiting for guidance and forgiveness and discernment for my next step. I needed to hear this and for the past 6 months you have helped me so much.

So the entire time watching this I'm thinking "I will send this to so and so..because I'm definitely good on this!.." But towards the end of the video God revealed that I'm not in offense by ALL men..just black men..Those are the men I can't trust..I'm always thinking to date outside my race because I've been hurt so much by them...thru my brothers, father, uncles..I'm always thinking why can't they just " man up??" ..thank you for this Ally! I've recently begun working through my offenses with men. I've forgiven my dad for being weak & not protecting me from evil men. I've forgiven my ex for being abusive & violent. I've forgiven my mother who did harm to me and also didn't protect me. YES, we need to work through these issues before God can release us to the person He has for us. Good Word, Sis!

Amen, very true. I think I'm ready for marriage but I know I'm not. I struggle with day dreaming and getting lost in my thoughts when I have a crush on someone and I struggle with patience in relationships. I need to learn to always put God in my thoughts first and to let His spirit guide me in relationships. He is teaching me. I was also in a destructive relationship now I am single, and I love my freedom. I can do anything I want to do without getting anyone else's approval. I can go sailing, I can go skydiving, I can fly my aeroplane, I can go mountain climbing, I can eat and drink what I like where I like, I can ride my motorcycle, I can travel the world. Yippee for being single! You don't have to follow societies social norms, create your own. It's your wonderful life so be happy living it. I am going surfing now which I couldn't do if I was in a relationship or marriage. Praise Jesus Christ, Hallelujah Amen!

PRAISE THE LORD that I found your video. I too was in a seven year that fell apart but I realize now that the moment I re-dedicated my life to God that individual walked out of the relationship. But God is walking with me now and I thank the good Lord He intervened.

I needed this... A prophet told me some of the things you spoke on about my life & past. This encouraged me today. I never realized that when connecting with people, you can add something to their lives that shouldn't have been added. I have to let go of a lot of things in my past, so I can be healthy spiritually and mentally.

Thank you for this video. I have felt this way for awhile in the past and decided to take a break from relationship and just work on my past issues. Things that I need to let go of so that I could begin a new. I just felt like I was carrying a load of hurt on my back and giving some of my bitterness to the people I was in relationship with. So I just stoped and decided the best thing to do was stop and focus on my wounds and even though I do not go to church I do feel God has helped me through all this. I also feel like he has brought your channel in my life so that I may continue to grow. Thank you for your wonderful videos.

I am single not by choice but my boyfriend cheated on me. I learned from it, as I have from every other relationship that I have had (which aren't many). I have a lot of good things happening in my life. Since my dad has been gone to be with God I have been on my own for 2 years. It becomes very tiresome coming home to an empty table but I realize that God loves me and is preparing me for a family of my own. I really want to become a mom but I'm worried I won't be a good mother. I don't want to adopt and do it on my own because that's too hard. It only works when two people are involved. There are times I wonder if I will die alone without anyone to care for me. Yes, I get scared but I have left it up to God to do what He wants. It'll happen when it's meant to.

I hate to admit this, but I almost didn’t watch because it’s obvious that you’re young enough to be my daughter and I didn’t think I would learn anything new. I was wrong! I’m 52, never married, with no kids. I live with the chronic disappointment of unmet dreams. Like you, I always saw myself as a wife and mother. I’ve never for one second of my adult life wanted to be single - but I always have been. I’m still hopeful that God will allow me to be a wife someday, but it hurts to go through life feeling rejected, “less than,” left out, and generally forgotten. I can relate to what you said about offense and putting that negativity on all men I meet. Thank God for you! Bless you.

This video is everything. I've gone through this stage over the past couple of years. After going through an abusive relationship, I hated all men and it was painful working through what I needed to do to let go of that anger. I finally found forgiveness and it's freeing as I was able to change my state of mind and feel okay again. Almost a year later from my lowest point, life has been so much better. I found God on my own and learned mindfulness through therapy. It helped a lot. Thanks for validating what I went through and that I wasn't alone in what I'm sure happens to a lot of us. My current boyfriend has helped me grow into a better woman throughout what I was going through too, and although being single is good as well, I think it's possible to be with someone and go through it also if they are the right person. As you mentioned you do tend to destroy those close to you when all you feel is anger. At points I knew that I needed to be alone. I'm glad we made it through those times though and we have an awesome future ahead!

I am glad that I have watched this today. I feel that God has put you in my feed today. My fiancé proposed to me on Jan 1. I have felt like he has rushed things. I don't like some of the things he has said. I was thinking that we both aren't ready to be married. But I've been blaming him for things. What I really need to do is open up to him about my shortcomings. I need to be honest about myself and what I need to change to be more prepared for this marriage, not just what I think he should change about himself to make the marriage easier for me.
